Hi everyone, I recently lost my visa so I have to go back to my home country. I’m looking to rehome my 2 cats and was wondering if anyone has any space for them or know any barn owners or farm owners who could help with this.

They’re outdoor-indoor and do well outdoors during the day. They’re fixed and have health insurance that I can pay for and can provide a big chunk of their wet and dry food. they’re quite affectionate and get along well with other cats. They’re both about 1.5 years old and have all their shots.

Does anyone know if 911 records are obtainable by an individual in Carroll County? Would I need a judge? Are they public record in Georgia?

There’s a situation involving my neighbors that I wanted to obtain police reports on. However, after calling the sheriff office, I was told to email an officer, and the officer emailed me back that there were no reports made (tax dollars at work…), so I guess, the only record that I would have that a cop came to my home is the 911 call. I don’t know what else to do.

Anyone from Carroll county interested in a local get-together in support of the National Brain Tumor Society? I'm a volunteer of the NBTS who lost a parent years ago to glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer. The National Brain Tumor Society has an annual 5k in May at the Battery in Atlanta and does a lot of advocacy across the US.

I've got 3 boys (12, 3, and 1year old), I've been hopeful that I'd have any extra money to atleast buy them SOMETHING. I mean, I have applied earlier in November for the Empty Stocking Fund, as I worried that I would need help after having a rough patch struggling with bills!! Then it seemed like everything was looking up and I was thinking I've got this. Well, within the last 2 weeks, I've become separated from their father, and it left me feeling really screwed. I've been able to get a 3 ft pre-lit tree, so I've got that! I have reached out through facebook on pages that said "Christmas help" but, no response. A LOT of people needing help on there.
Ultimately I'm feeling pretty lost and helpless as a momma, and Im curious how can I find someone that may sponsor us? Or, just the kids... not me. I thought about emailing the sheriff's office but I dont know if I'm even allowed to do that. I just feel like I'm sick to my stomach because of panic. Worst case scenario I do have one gift each from the ESF, I just feel like they deserve more and I'm embarrassed and just... feeling helpless. Who/Where can I contact this close to Christmas? Or,should I just try to talk to my oldest and explain that he's got one gift this year(i dont even know what it is, and he really might actually understand) he is EXTREMELY bright and mature for his age. I just dont want to have to.

I am not a churchgoer and only know the broadest of strokes regarding what is happening with the United Methodist Church. Specifically, why did Carrollton's downtown church leave?

I just moved to Georgia and started working in Carrollton, and it didn't take long to receive a speed camera violation as I was driving down Carrollton Villa Rica Highway one morning. I was driving a rental car at the time and the photos just show the rear of the car.

My question is, do I need to pay this? When I lived in SoCal and received a speed camera ticket, we just discarded and disregarded them, and the state/county wouldn't waste their time following up. It looks like the return address is in Tempe, AZ so I'm assuming this is a private company that handles these tickets. If I don't pay it, will it effect my credit or GA drivers license?

Would you consider it safe? Does the college impact the town negatively? People usually friendly? Would you raise a family here, with little kids? Hows the traffic? Hows the crime?
