I plopped down a base computer under the tiniest pavilion on a floating island on one of the planets during the Cursed expedition and popped back in last night while touring my bases and discovered that someone had built a proper base on the other side of the rock formation the waterfall was coming out of. There’s absolutely no way that’s possible with regular settings. Is there a decay timer on bases or something or did they Cheaty McCheaterson their way onto my island?
They ran for their ship when they saw me then came back and killed me because I reported their base and started building where it stood (😅).
I just realized something. I have whole play sessions where I never fire my weapon because I’m too busy… gardening.
I have seen that there are base pieces which are equilateral triangles, which is great, most building systems in games never put these in. My question is, do we also have access to any right triangles?
I forgot the glyphs on my previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/NMS_Bases/s/3cbiWQoVlE
Replacing a base that I made the mistake of building into the hill on the right. The hill kept regenerating in the base. Avoiding that problem this time.
This is just beautiful 🔥
