Seeing this sitting in the hangar of my CapShip, I'll probably use it as my main ship until at least I get another living ship.

I'm new to the game and I'm working on Atlas path but I don't know what to do with and around freighters. I have space combat on minimal, and was attacked by two pirates who I shot down. I know I'm supposed to save a freighter from pirates, but when does this happen and how?

Hey all, I'm playing on the switch and having serious trouble with a bug. I'm supposed to be getting the non-existent data from the anomalous structure, and in a cruel twist of irony the building no longer exists.

I located the building, and killed the thing outside, and the building disappeared. I saw on here that other people had the same issue, but none of their fixes are working for me, maybe because I'm on switch not PC. I've tried reloading the save, teleporting to my base and back, warping to other systems and back, closing and restarting the game, nothing seems to help.

Any suggestions? I'm really frustrated that I can't continue this mission :/

[EDIT] FIXED thank you malaznerd! Here's the fix from thread on a different reddit for anyone who needs it: "Can you access Community Highlight Bases from the Anomaly? If yes then go to one of them either in Eisentamm or Isdoraijung Galaxy. Warp to a random system once you are there. Land at the space station and save reload your game. Ideally after this you should see a "Reset to Nearby Structures option" when you select the patterns in time mission from the log. If the Reset option doesn't pop up immediately, give it a bit, it will appear eventually."

DO NOT KILL THE HORROR AGAIN THE BUILDING WILL DISAPPEAR AGAIN (did it for laughs after collecting the data just to see)

Hi everyone, has anyone been able to find any news on Light No Fire for console? I know they've had certain announcements for Steam but I was wondering if anyone knows if it'll come up for Preorder in the next year or so? Or are we doomed to wait?

So I've just started no man's sky and in wondering how I can obtain units quickly so I can buy one of those massive ships. I found collecting laval cores works better but whats a faster way?

My first attempt at a Gek character and I really like my small dude. Disappears behind plants and rock, is smaller than his staff and has to look up at every vendor he meets.

So what they say must be true, once you go Gek you never go back. And Gek don't crack.... Just Genocide.

Pretty new at this game, was attacked by two pirates while in space, I did end up shooting both ! Do I get any rewards or cargos? They were scanning me. Would they have taken any of my stuff before I shot them?

So while I was on expedition 16, I adopted a flower dog kinda creature on one of the planets in the system, and of course on ending the expedition it got turned into units(right into the blender, sorry creature).

I was hoping to pick up another one, but I've been looking all over and can't seem to find it. Does anyone know what planet/system these things are on? I've been checking the verdant planets in the expedition but no luck so far.

Hi everyone, I’m new here and trying to figure out how to play this game. I know one of the ways to get nanites is to scan/discover new flora and fauna but everything has already been discovered by someone else. I thought that when you started you spawn on a completely random planet from everyone else but maybe that’s not entirely the case. I’m still in the tutorial stage so I haven’t left the galaxy I’m in. The game is a lot of fun though and this subreddit has been pretty helpful so far!

I started a no-starter ship challenge and now I can't find the terrain manipulator to install it on the multi-tool. Should I made something at the beginning? I just ignored the ship and started walking.
