“Dear Sweetheart,
Well, here I am at the PTA meeting and no one seems to be around.
It’s been so many years since I sat at a chair this small and with shaking hands scribbled my first words. What a chore!
Now that I look back, it wasn’t really that long ago. Life goes by very fast and we must study hard to prepare ourselves for the day when we spring from the nest to face the world alone.
We may never be rich, great, or well known, but I hope that someday we’ll be able to look back and say with pride that we did our very best.
Work real hard and share a smile with a friend.
Love, Daddy”
My Fallout Gang are the best of friends. Vera Keyes (black & white), Randall Clark (grey), Ace of Spades (black dog), Moira Brown (GSD). The cats & my GSD were strays & the black dog was rescued from an extreme abuse situation. They all love each other so much & it just melts my icy little heart (I worked in EMS for way too long) to see them like this.
I’m proud of her too. 💜
Hi all.
I wanted to share a personal journey with you all. About two years ago, I created a number-based puzzle game called Guess My Numbers. Despite not knowing how to code, I collaborated with developers to bring my vision to life (a few screwed me over). It was an incredible feeling to finish v1 and see players enjoying something I created.
Unfortunately, life had other plans. I went through some personal hardships that caused the game to crash, and I lost a lot of motivation. It felt like all that hard work had gone down the toilet.
But I couldn’t let it end there. A few months ago, I decided to pick myself back up. I revamped the game with a new design and better mechanics. I’m still not a coder, but I got it back online (hopefully it doesn’t break again).
I’d love for you to check it out: guessmynumbers.com
It’s a simple yet challenging puzzle game where you guess a number sequence in three tries. If you win, you can submit your own numbers and even feature your profile or website.
I’m super proud of how far it’s come, and it doesn’t make money… but it’s live again and that makes me smile. I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it.
Let me know what you think! Any feedback/advice is welcomed.
Thank you kindly.
Reddit rescued me! I have posted here many times with my triumphs and struggles. Today I am happier than I’ve been in years and overwhelmed by the community. My daughter went from no Christmas to one I can’t wait for. This is the best place ever. I never thought an app I go to socially would have such an impact on me.
(Not mine. :3)
