Pretty new to lloyd and into fishing. However I've been looking for somewhere nice and quiet to fish. Me and my partner has tried deer creek and perch lake but couldn't find where we could fish at the lake and deer creek wasn't very accessible for our small car. Will try and recommendations! Thanks in advance.
I've been applying on Indeed for a while now and no luck. Seems like knowing someone in the company is the way to get in. I'm 23, looking for a labourer job, I have class 5 license and willing to get my own safety tickets.
Any advice?
Just curious if a person wanted to reset their career from white collar to blue collar, what opportunities are there in Lloyd to do that? Is there a trade school nearby? Is school necessary?
I have always felt like a round peg in a square hole, and feel like I made the wrong career choice. I have a family to support still, but I know it’s still possible to make a career change and support the family through hard work, dual incomes, two jobs etc.
How can one get into a trade while still living in Lloyd?
We are travelling to Edmonton and going to take stop in Lloydminster with baby to have a breakfast.
Please recommend from your experience which cafe or restaurant is good with kid.
Thank you
Can you get blood work done at the hospital or do you have to go to Dynalife?
I prefer to have it done by SK so I can see the results. If I get it done at Dynalife I don't get a copy
Is there a community of people in Lloydminster that collect stuff like Action Figures or Old Vintage Toys. Stuff in that range, I know there are a few in Lloyd I’m just wondering if there is a sub community form or Discord Server.
If needed I’m more than happy to create some sort of Server or Blog to round up the nerds.
We have a backyard pond and my son wants to catch some frogs to take care of - anyone seen any frogs or eggs in their travels around the city and area lately?? We frequent Bud Miller but I think there might be too much foot traffic we haven’t found anything yet! Any help is appreciated!
Or is there any other track? I only know of that one
Been going to the gym for a couple years but don’t have any goals for it right now i need a lift goal for bench press squat and deadlift pls comment 🙏

I often dream about the piccolo loaf and tomato soup… so much so that I’m trying to make the tomato soup tonight. I can’t find a recipe anywhere on anything close to the piccolo loaf tho 😭😭😭 Texas toast will have to do I guess.
I think Ricky’s is my favourite restaurant now
Hey all. Anyone else just looking for some friends? People to hang with. I'm your a to z guy. A drink? Sure, sounds fun! Golf? Let's do it! Board games? Hell yah! Wanna climb a mountain? Uhhh yahhh! Hey let's go biking! Yupp I'm down. Fancy a pint at the new co-op wash and slosh?! Yes please! I'm literally down for anything. Mostly just experiencing life with other people. I have a wife and kid and zero friends. Just looking to find some pals, man or women to hang with. Whatever that may entail. I love to golf and just bought a new 3 wood I'm itching to try. I love landscaping. Gardening. Backyard construction projects. I'm in the middle of building a shed and pergola. Hit me up and let's connect. Cheers 🍻
Not the rental spots at Bud Miller but a community garden! Reps will be at the library today over the lunch hour if you want to find out more and there are pamphlets there all the time.
Hello.
I'll be living in a hotel in your fine town this spring for a job. Curious where I could get some live quality fermented food - sauerkraut, fermented beets, perhaps a mild kimchi.
I checked out Facebook marketplace but it was empty. Any legit farmers markets to watch out for? Wouldn't mind buying some from a private seller either.
Thank you for your time.
I have to come to Lloyd from Saskatoon about 6 times a year, usually for about an hour only. I swear every time I come here there is some sort of protest. Is everyone hear just bored?
Trying to figure out different ways I can socialize my (vaccinated) pup. Aside from pet stores, what are areas/stores that are pet friendly? Also what parks do some fellow dog owners suggest?
We are looking at maybe moving to Lloyd. We've never moved cities before let alone potentially provinces so forgive me if my questions seem stupid. We are from Saskatchewan so is it easier to live on the Saskatchewan side? I assume if we move to the alberta side we would have to get our vehicles either inspected in Ab or sell and buy ab ones? We'd be looking at renting a place for now do most places include utilities or some in prices? What's the average power bill like? In sk there's only one company but I believe in ab there's a couple and seem to be higher cost then sk. What's the family dr situation like in lloy, also impossible to find one accepting new patients?
Where is a good place to meet women. I don't know anyone here, so heading to a bar in my own seems a bit desperate. Are there other options ? If not, what is a good bar ?
Seeking recommendations from fellow Indigenous individuals! Where's the ultimate destination for native smokes in our vicinity? I'm excited to embrace this aspect of our heritage.
Thanks in advance!
If you know, you know. 😉
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Hello!
The company I'm starting work with plans to ship me out to Lloyd for the next few years... been raised in Calgary my entire life, so getting some field work will be quite the gig. I have a few questions:
I've lived up in Whitecourt for site work a few years ago, I really hope Lloyd beats WC, because that town was dead. The only thing to do there was hit the gym and go ski further out (and read on my kindle).
A researcher from Vancouver Island University (VIU) is currently interested in the effects of coaching on athlete's performance in sports. The researcher is looking for Canadian athletes aged 19 or older involved in a team or individual sports, who compete in competitions, have a coach, and are not out for injury. The survey will ask participants about their perceptions of their coaches and perceptions of themselves. The survey will examine the role of coaching in athletes' well-being and performance. The questionnaire will take approximately 20 minutes to complete using SurveyMonkey, accessible via the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/55WHXSN.
Or to shop in really. I’ve just moved here and worked at 3 dispensaries for around 3.5 years altogether. I notice they’re pretty much all hiring. Looking for part time right now. Any good vibes or staff you notice work well together? TIA
I just found out I will be transferring to Lloydminster for work. I would really like to live outside of town in a house with some land (didn't need to be a lot). I've searched online but can't find anything, so thought I would ask here in case anyone knows of anything, or could point me in the right direction. Thanks
Edit: so I've worked out that I can search vermillion River County to search around lloyd on the alerts side. What would the equivalent search be on the SK side ?
Looking fir a good area to live in lloydminister Is this a good building? 3002 56 ave
Just curious what everyones experience is with Sasktel Fibre. How is the latency for games, consistent speeds, etc!
