Does anyone know if the trees with the seniors wishes on it are out at LD yet? If not, do you know approximately when?
It’s our favourite Christmas tradition, but we’re leaving for the month of December so I’d like to get it done soon!
Did anyone else see the meteor burn up over Leduc county at around 0530 this morning? I was travelling south down hwy 60 towards Calmar and the whole sky lit up as it came down. I'd love to see a video of it if anyone has it.
Edit. Yeah sorry I looked at the clock wrong lol. Night shift! It was around 6:30am
This is probably a weird question, but is there anyone - person or place - that can repair pewter? I have a pewter item that's been damaged and I'm not sure who would be able to fix it (or if it is indeed fixable). Any recommendations for where to look?
Hey guys, I really need a new phone and am looking for suggestions of places in YEG that have reasonable priced new phones (don't care about it being a new model, just want it as cheap as humanly possible) or if there's any good places to buy refurbished online/or in person in YEG. FB marketplace seems to be a scam so ya idk what to do, thanks!
I am looking for some cool things for my son’s 2nd birthday coming up. Mainly looking for fun ways for him to open his presents and just any fun ideas in general .
Very specific I know. I bought a flat of Hills Prescription Diet ONC-care wet food for my cat while she was undergoing chemo. I have a lot left, and I'd prefer it go to someone who needs it. If you need it or know someone who does, send me a message.
I'm moving to Edmonton from Vancouver and recently completed the Carson Dunlop Home Inspection course. I'm aiming to start my own home inspection business in Edmonton next year and need to acquire a home inspector license from the Alberta government. This requires joining the Alberta Professional Home Inspectors Society (APHIS), submitting sample reports, and completing a Test Inspection Peer Review (TIPR) with an APHIS fellow.
To prepare for the TIPR, I’m looking to get some hands-on, practical experience. I know there are paid onsite training sessions available through professional associations, but I’d love the chance to gain field experience as well.
Are there any home inspectors in Edmonton who might allow me to observe an inspection or conduct a shadow inspection alongside them? I'd be incredibly grateful for any opportunities or advice anyone could offer. Thanks in advance!
Been away for 5 years but moving back in February. Born and raised and happy to come back.
Any places that were good and are now bad?
Good new places to eat?
Solid happy hours?
All types of food are good!
Even if you wanted to chime in on other differences in the past 5 years that’s cool too!
Thanks :)
How is the riverboat for a 20th anniversary date? Either dueling pianos or dinner at the dock, is it worth it? Thanks!
Hello,
To preface this I'm in the personal fitness trainer program at NAIT and a lot of my assignments require me to film myself doing various movements and exercises. I'm not an influencer making content or anything, just a student doing work.
As a result I obviously have to go to a gym and film myself. I go to Fit4Less but the employee that was working was really weird about letting me film and I got some stares from people. I was respectful and made sure to not get anyone but me in my videos, and if it was unavoidable and I made sure to ask the person if it was okay for them to be in the background. But still, it was weird and uncomfortable and I hated it.
I'm wondering if there's any gyms that are sorta camera friendly (ie people there would be used to people filming themselves)? Anyone know of any gyms like that? Should I just go to the gym at like 3am to do this stuff? It wasn't busy when I went today but there was still a few people around.
As the title states, 2nd to last day in Edmonton and I know it was just the long weekend but anything fun and exciting in downtown Edmonton happening today!
What are some places to go when the game is playing besides attending the game itself.
Would love your ideas or thoughts!
How on Earth has this happened and with the construction at 97 St and 118 Ave this is a pain in the ass to navigate. What on earth is going on and when will it be completed?
My partner and I are opening a small business and are about to sign a lease for a brand new shell unit for our business. We’re trying to get a rough idea of what construction and renovation might cost for a 900 sq ft space without kitchen.
We’re planning a simple layout with just a washroom and a couple of sinks. Does anyone have experience with renovation costs for things like flooring, electrical, plumbing, etc.? What should we expect per square foot for a project like this? Any insights would be super helpful—thanks!
Does anyone know which pubs will be streaming it? I saw the River Cree is but it's by tickets only and you're seated at a big table with others, wondering if anyone is aware of where else might be showing it. Southside preferred.
With all the Money and Time spent working on the Swimming Pool at the Clareview Recreation Center why do they never turn on any of the water features and amenities? They have them on at the Common Wealth and my kids love them, but never at Clareview?
Does anyone have any recommendations of stores/brands of outdoor Christmas decorations? I've purchased a few of Canadian Tire's CANVAS decorations over the past few years and it's been very hit or miss. My latest purchase from them (a pair of LED cone trees) didn't even last one Edmonton winter.
I've been thinking of buying some from RONA or Home Depot, but I wanted to get some recommendations first.
