Lokotech tape out delayed

So according to a euronext stock exchange filing, lokotech tape out phase for their script asic is now delayed until October 2024. As I stated originally h2 2024 really meant eoy 2024. And now it's looking more like h1 2025.

Hard pass on Any L9 priced over 10,000

BT-Miners just Listed Jan 2025 L9’s at 7599. No way you are going to mine enough to cover the difference. Based on current conditions the L9 is going to bring in 190 DOGE per day and .05 LTC AT .10 per kWh 7.82 in electricity OR 26.64 minus 7.82 is 18.82 net .. in 6 months is 3500 at current levels. The premium for a 1st batch is about 5,000 or 12,500

Why are people still buying L3s?

Honestly why? I see them constantly being sold on eBay for average $100; and I have even been offered to buy mine recently. Now I got mine 2 years ago so it makes a bit more sense but why buy them or those godshell mjnis anymore? Even if your getting free power its next to nothing for all the noise and hassle. I just figured they’d be scrap by now.

Buy L7 or wait for L9?

If you had $0.11 electricity would you wait for the L9 or go for the L7. Based on the way things are going do you think I could roi on a L7 if I bought it for $4500-$5000 keeping in mind the hash rate increase the L9 will bring?

Help,

Hey, so I just got a new internet connection and hooked up my L7 miner. It's hashing away like normal, but I can't seem to access the UI from the IP address. I even used an IP reporter to get the new IP, but still no luck. I even tried the old IP just to see if that would work, but nope, nothing. Any ideas?

Thanks

Things to know before mining

Hello, soon I will purchase my first L7, since I’ve never mined before I want some tips..

What pool do you use to mine? What hardware wallet do you think is the best, plus do you have a second one for day to day transactions?

😅 LTC Mining: A Haven of Stability in the World of Cryptocurrency

Participating in LTC mining seems to have become a relatively stable method. The price of LTC has consistently remained between $77 and $82, and the daily fluctuations in LTC mining rewards are not as drastic as with other cryptocurrencies.

L9 vs L7 comparison

L9 based on .10 per kWh using 16000 mh and 3360 watts

24 hours take 0.05509 LTC 194.76147 DOGE Total revenue 32.85 USD Power consumption 8.30 USD Net profit 24.54 USD

7 days 0.38562 LTC 1,363.33031 DOGE 229.92 USD 58.13 USD 171.79 USD

30 days 1.65265 LTC 5,842.84419 DOGE 985.38 USD 249.12 USD 736.26 USD

L7 model 9050 based .10 per kWh 9200 hash and 3260 watts

24 hours Take 0.03168 LTC 111.98785 DOGE Total Revenue 18.89 USD Power Consumption 7.82 USD Net Profit 11.06 USD

7 days 0.22173 LTC 783.91493 DOGE 132.21 USD 54.77 USD 77.44 USD

30 days 0.95028 LTC 3,359.63541 DOGE 566.59 USD 234.72 USD 331.87 USD

The L9 is 220% better than the L7 based on a current L7 going for 6,229 on ASIC MARKET PLACE Makes an L9 valuation is 13,704 ) ASIC MARKET PLACE currently going for 15,549 or a 13.5% premium

Based on this I believe the L9’s are nowhere near the same scenario we had when the CATEGORY KILLER L7’s knocked out the L3’s after a few months of deployment. So I think the L7’s are good until full L9 deployment that will take a year After the Start to arrive in August/September 2024. Ironically at that time they will be producing current L7 returns and will be probably 50 to 60 % of the current 15,549 amount

I’m thinking fair valuation on a used L7 is about 4900-5200 which is currently where they are moving on EBAY ( before the 15% EBay gets ).. the L9 is only 74% more hashing power and is mostly befitting by efficiency ( only about 105% of an L7).

The L7 were 15X more hashing power with only 352% more electricity (925 L3 to 3260 L7) so you got a much bigger punch

What are your thoughts

Mining profits of LTC and DOGE are increasing.

Current estimated daily revenue:

1 GH/s ≈ 0.00349320 LTC + 12.66150498 DOGE ≈ $ 2.36

Also, f2pool has offered a higher DOGE ratio over the past week.

f2pool 1LTC+3692 DOGE
ViaBTC 1LTC+ 3477 DOGE
Antpool 1LTC+ 3601 DOGE
Binance 1LTC+ 3447 DOGE

Welcome to mine LTC&DOGE or test for the actual revenue with us!

New BITMAIN L7 FirmWare!!! Sooo... who's trying it first :)

m.bitmain.com/support/download

My oh MY! Antminer-L7-release-202405141413.bmu published 05-23-2024

Only Caveat so far is the slightly ominous statement "L7 miners before 2023 are strongly advised not to upgrade this firmware instead of Antminer-L7-release-20230100939.bmu"

I already had upped mine to the previous one, anyone tried the new one yet? and how does one verify their L7 meets the 2023 warning?

Should I buy a Scrypt Miner rn (L7, DG1)?

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a scrypt miner and I had my eye on the DG1, but moved to L7 because its BITMAIN and that machine has a long standing history.
The prices I'm getting for them are:
DG1 (new) - $6870

L7 9.05 (new) - $6150

L7 9.05 (used 1 yr, good condition) - $4900 [trying to negotiate to $4500]

What are your thoughts on the best miner to buy, or if i should even be buying at all given the L9 could drop in the next consensus this weekend?

Update: I ended up buying an L7 cuz I got a killer deal ✌️

Nicehash or ViaBTC for LTC to BTC mining?

Hi guys, I have a few Bitcoin miners that aren't super profitable right now, so I am considering getting either the L7 or the DG1 mining directly to BTC. I am also considering moving to ViaBTC pool because of the lower withdrawal fee to my hardware wallet.

Now if I don't get the scrypt miner, the low profits would justify moving to ViaBTC away from Nicehash due to the lower withdrawal fees, however, if I do get the scrypt miner, the profits would be much higher and the withdrawal fee would be irrelevant if the pool generates significantly more bitcoin.

That being said, I have two questions:

  1. Does anyone have data comparing the L7 on NiceHash vs ViaBTC?

  2. Does using the auto convert feature on ViaBTC have any fees associated with it, reducing the rewards even further?

Any input or personal experience will be greatly appreciated!

Got my Bitman L7 back from D-Central Technologies in Canada

I got the full miner service was 695 CA but was only 557 in USD.. is as close to new as it can be. Came back clean and hashing incredibly well. This unit was DOA on arrival and they resurrected it from the dead. My rep was Nicholas and he provided great service. Turn time was about 35 days .. 5 Start rated

220v transformer used for L7

Im in a bit of a pinch and am spiraling to find a solution before hanging my head and selling (most likely at a loss). Has anyone tried running one L7 miner from a 125v (20amp) circuit using a 5000w step up transformer? I added a link to the one I am thinking about trying below. Am I going to damage the machine is this doesn’t work out? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

https://a.co/d/aLXOIaV

or maybe on 2, 20amp, circuits with something like this?

Stupid question about powering an L7

I recently pulled the trigger on an L7 bc I got one at what I feel was a great price and now I am regretting it a bit. I have only ever mined with L3s. I feel like the answer to this is a hard no but could you power an L7 on 2 20amp 110v lines that are on separate circuits? Or is there an adapter that I could combine the 2 outlets and use it with a 22v PDU? Any recommendations would be appreciated; I rent so It's hard to just run a new 220v line.

Mining Wallet

I’ve doing some research and what is the best wallet to mine to. I was mining direct to RH so it was easier to sell my coins in the long run but with the pressure of the SEC (I don’t think anything will happen but just in case) I wanna start mining to a hot wallet. I have a ledger but I hear that having too many UTXO’s will cause issues down the road so now I’m stuck on what wallet to use, I’ve downloaded Trust Wallet but I’m not sure if I’ll have the same UTXO issue on TW as well. Can someone please provide some guidance 🙏🏾

Lack of available units on EBAY

Interesting as there have always been a few used units at any given time until recently. I have not seen a unit listed for over a month. I don’t think the L9’s will have the same catastrophic havoc the L7’s had on the L3’s. The L9 is definitely a better machine but not to the extent the L7’s on the L3’s. I still think the price point will come out considerably lower than what Bitmain could have got had they waited 6-9 months longer. I’m thinking these units are priced at about 12k .. we will know in a few days

Thank you guys for the info, temps are down now. Let’s just say I’m embarrassed how dusty/dirty my l7 was

Wish I took a pic before I started to clean/air blow it. It was filled with dust and daddy Long leg spiders and giant mosquito eaters from being in my garage. Dropped my temps quite a bit. And now back to normal mining instead of low power mode 🙌🏼
