My question is fairly simple: Where in Leiden can I buy untreated olives? I mean not from a can, just straight up olives in bigger quantities.

Ik ben eigenaar van een mooie zenith automatic uit de jaren 60, helaas is vanochtend het kroontje(crown? Noem je dat ook zo in het Nederlands?) Overleden, kan de tijd niet meer terug/vooruit zetten. Is er een zaak in leiden of omgeving die zich hierin specialiseert? Ik weet dat die op de breestraat vintage horloges verkoopt, maar kan op de website weinig info vinden over reparatie hiervan.

I play other instruments but would really like to branch out and try to improve singing. I'm looking for someone who does jazz/pop/R&B/soul/rock singing more than classical, and who is comfortable teaching in English (Ik spreek een beetje Nederlands, maar niet genoeg voor instructie!) Hi all, Does anyone know where I could get box braids for less than €70? The weather is getting colder and I’m concerned about damage. Salons seem to charge around €200 which I can’t afford at all. And they often request clients to buy their own hair. I’ve tried doing them myself before but they didn’t come out right. Could be English or Dutch speaking, in Leiden, Den Haag, or Rotterdam.

Hallo, Ik ben lichtelijk in paniek vandaar dat ik hier om verduidelijking (en hopelijk antwoorden) vraag.

Ik reed op de kruising Churchilllaan - VijfMeilaan. Het stoplicht was op groen om linksaf te slaan (de VijfMeilaan op) en van daar komt een politieauto met zwaailichten aanrijden. Nadat ik de streep over ben, stop ik om de politie voor te laten. Nadat hun gepasseerd zijn rij ik door.

Er staat een flitspaal voor dat kruispunt en ik weet niet of ik het nog gered heb om in de resterende tijd dat groen licht was, over te steken. Als dit niet zo is en ik na de streep “door rood reed”, heb ik dan alsnog een boete te pakken?

Help alsjeblieft want ik ben in paniek.

Ik wil linksaf 5mei op vanuit katwijk zegmaar

Stoplicht is groen dus ik ga rijden, over stopstreep.

Na de stopstreep / midden kruispunt stop ik omdat politie van links komt.

Hun zijn voorbij en ik rij door vanuit het midden.

Ik weet alleen niet of stoplicht nog op groen stond of al rood was toen ik door reed

Hi everyone! I'll be heading to Leiden University in the Netherlands next semester for an exchange, from February to July, and I wanted to get some insight into the weather during that time.

I've noticed that my mood is "pretty sensitive" to sunlight—If the climate is nice, with clear skies, good air quality, beautiful, and spacious scenery, I tend to feel energetic.
But if it's often cloudy or rainy, I tend to feel pretty down and even a bit of a mess.

How’s the weather in Leiden during those months? Should I expect a lot of rain and cloudy days, or are there enough sunny breaks? Any advice on adjusting to the Dutch weather?

Hi, does anyone of you know of a place in Leiden that will do a live stream during the U.S. election? Even though I am not a U.S. citizen, I always used to watch the election live, since U.S. elections always have big implications for the whole world… and watching it in a group makes it easier to bear. I moved to Leiden a few months ago for my masters and I havent met any other writers yet. I've always liked getting together with people and writing together, talking about our projects etc. Would anyone here like to meet up sometime - in a cafe or something similar - and spend some time writing together?
