Taking about potentials for Lasso, the film Johnny Guitar is in the running, imho. This surreal Western fantasy directed by Nicholas Ray is something to see. It stars film icon Joan Crawford and has a truly dazzling palette.
Coffee shop I was in played a version by Ronnie McDowell but the original is by Bobby Vinton in 1963. It’s a great cover and the original is fantastic. Am I the only one this is news to?
For example what book gives you; Summertime Sadness or Flipside vibes?
This question was inspired by cy-Bumblebee-6134 ✨
I was 14 years old and she fucked me up real BAD! I was fantasizing that some hot guy would ask me to run away with him and then we both traveled around the country with nothing but his pick up truck and a gun in our pocket
this is the cover for shania twain's greatest hits album that will be released this summer.
it's giving shein born to die lmao
Sorry if it’s common knowledge I was just scrolling through some old pics in her IG and came across this one…Victoria Kofoed? She isn’t even following Lana and Lana follows her but this was the only pic I’ve ever seen so idk just curious
My favorite one is "its always been that way with me no time for change no time for fun" and "strong like a tree but the unlucky one". As someone who grew up before i could enjoy my childhood or even teen years whilst never fully becoming an adult because of that, it hit really deep. Even though it gives me existential dread it is comforting in a weird way, btw I may be paraphrasing but thats how i remember it. Whats urs 🤍?.
i’ve just now been getting into ocean blvd and i was wondering who are the women we first hear on the grants? and why are they on there like what was the reason for her to put that part on it, does it symbolize something or did it just sound nice? thanks for helping me understand xx
We know Lana changes her mind like wind. However what do you hope for for the aesthetic of Lasso (?) to be? How country you think it's going to get? Do you think it will be pure country or will have some trap influences?
I’d love to read a book that feels like a long summer in the Mediterranean. Preferably well written / literary.
my most recent lana drawing, reference photo was from her 107.7 the end photoshoot!
Don’t get me wrong blue banisters is good…but there’s literal crack in the song Dealer, no pun intended. It seems so sonically different than the rest of the album and I’m wondering the lore on the song if there’s any
It's Yosemite for me
My spotify daylist is 90% Lana...lol
With amended watermark (thanks for the folks who suggested that!)
Watching Coachella made me resurface this pic. We spoke for a solid minute, extremely friendly
Has anybody noticed that the background music is very Bollywood-esque? Especially the second bridge, I thought it was interesting how her vocals and the instrumental sound just like Bollywood music lol
