Hey everyone. Does anyone have a copy of the CS116 syllabus. I transferred and I need it to get credit for my class, but the college isn't replying to my emails, nor is the professor.
LA Pierce College is open today as a polling place.
More info: https://www.laccd.edu/students/laccd-voting-information
Voters should park in Lot 7 (the big one along the library and Center for Sciences). Parking permits will not be required November 2-6, 2024.

Hey guys I’m really bad at statistics but need it as a prerequisite. Was wondering if anyone knows the easiest online math 227(statistics) class at Pierce?
Can someone please help me pick an easy class in this area? Except the clases that are 2 units.
anyone taking japanese 1? i have some questions i really need answered not about class just about prof pls lmk!!
Pierce has certain certificates and associate degrees and I was wondering if I could take any class from Los Angeles Community College District or if it would have to be from Pierce themselves for it to amount towards their AA/Certificates.
For example: A Programming Associates requires class CS 116 which is programming with C++. If I were to take this class through the LACCD system but at another campus, say Valley, would it still count towards Pierce for their Associates or would Pierce require it be from their own program/campus. Kind of like how some colleges have temrs with some universities and the same class at one would not be valid at another.

I was wondering if anyone is using their GI Bill to complete any of the certificate programs offered at Pierce College? Are they considered full time?
I know this is a long shot, but I am wondering if somebody can help me out here.
In 2009, I took an acting/ theater class for dual high school college thing. I was wondering if anybody knows who this instructor is and how I can possibly get a hold of them. The instructor's name as I recall is NICO, he is a tall skinny man, I recall black hair that looks oily a little wild, brown skin possibly hispanic ethnicity, I cannot remember anything else. But I need to know what theater that was Theater Number and class name, is there anybody that willing to help me out on this please? It is urgent
I’m considering on attending Pierce in the fall and I was wondering if anyone knew much about associates degree for nursing at Pierce? For example, how long would it take to complete the course and how rigorous it was or whether or not it was good program in general?
Hey Brahmas, happy spring! I'm here to share some updates on the subreddit.
You can post again! We've been in restricted mode ever since the old mods moved on with life (3 or 4 years ago). This meant only approved users could post, but there was nobody approving requests! 😭
There's a new subreddit mod. It's me. Hikikomori523 is technically above me, but he may not be so active here. Besides our on-site activity, we'll be notified by email any time you need us.
GIPHY media is now allowed in comments. It was off by default. Have fun.
Now theoretically supporting WVOC students. Across the street from LAPC is WVOC, an adult school part of LAUSD. I don't imagine much WVOC discussion happening, but if it needs a place, there's enough overlap that this subreddit is close enough.
Insights: While the subreddit was locked down, we received 15 requests from users seeking posting abilities, and maintained a small stream of curious visitors. Here's what a quiet 2023 looked like:
Feb '23 to Dec '23 insights for unique visitors to r/LAPierceCollege
User and post flairs, a better sidebar, wiki, AutoMod config, and other niche settings are a work in progress. I'm open to your feedback!
Have fun, and remember this subreddit is visible to the public. Be careful about sharing info and linking to group chats or video conferences.

Anyone here taken CS116 at Pierce? I have two options, O’Hanlon or O’Neal. Any opinions on either professor?
Hey guys, I've been looking all over the Pierce web site, but when are the fees due for fall 2020? Thanks in advance
I'm due to start classes on Monday June 15th and still haven't rec'd a syllabus or booklist for my classes. There's a link in my schedule taking me to the bookstore, but it gives me an error message saying "page not found"
Any clue what's going on? Has anyone been able to contact a professor to see what the plan is?
Hey guys, I enrolled in an accounting class, paid for it and everything. I'm just confused about when I click on the class, the status of it is waitlist. Is it my status in the class or is it just the status of the class in general? If I am waitlisted, how likely are you to get off the waitlist here? Thanks.
so, i'm trying to take a summer econ course this summer and am wondering when i can receive my student ID in order to register for courses?
i've already received my CCCid but have yet to get a student id email from LA Pierce college themselves. They say it would take 2 days, should I wait (today is 2nd day) or call the admissions office again?
THANK U! 😃

Hey guys, I hope everybody is doing well and staying safe during the COVID19 epidemic. I’m just wondering how you’re feeling about online learning?? I had a really hard time accepting it because I really value classroom time and interactions. The shift was tough but I think I’ve finally gotten the hang of it.
I wanted to take JAPAN 001...
