Anyone know any good places to get a cars window tinted? And the price tia
Ok. I went into Woodies today to buy a stand for the Xmas tree. They had durable green plastic stands, fine. I needed one so I bought it. The problem is it cost me thirty euros. This is a terrible gouge. The thing costs about a fiver to make and they sell it for thirty! Did I miss the part where Woodies got so greedy?
Hi, Is there anyone local that repairs power tools. Chopsaw, Thickness Planner type stuff.
Just walking down the high street there and was thinking should we start a petition to get a train in Sam Macauley’s window there loads of space for it 😂
Serious tho remember the train going around Sherwood’s window that’s a great Xmas memory from Kilkenny that doesn’t seem to happen much anymore.
I live in Thomastown and I was walking and I look to my side and see a white streak heading towards the ground followed by a little flicker and nothing it wasn't travelling that fast lasted about 3 seconds any one else seen it?
Any tips on where in Kilkenny to get a real Christmas tree? Do the GAA clubs sell them to fundraise?
Hi, looking into getting health insurance for my family (it's confusing). My understanding is health insurers like vhi etc have clinics that can provide rapid care for minor illnesses and injuries for its members. But I dont know of any such clinics in kilkenny? are there any and which insurers provide them? this is one of the main perks I imagine of having health insurance?
Well, I'm after being drawn a guy in work for Kris Kindle who was born and raised in Kilkenny. I'm a Sligo man myself but it got me thinking
Is there a gift or item that would make your blood boil if you received it based on the fact you're from kilkenny? Whether it be a rival hurlers autobiography or something more generic
The worse the gift the better here so would really appreciate some ideas
Folks are coming down for the weekend and want to go out for some live music this Saturday in the city. They are in to trad music. Where's the best pub for some trad music/chill live music on a Saturday?
Guys, I can understand various prices in every county, even different city or place like motorway service point, garage close to airport etc.
But as I just moved from northern part of Kilkenny city to southern I’m surprised there’s such a difference in the price of diesel 😬 Circle K close to Hotel Kilkenny sells regular diesel for 176, when at the same time you can get it for 168 near Newpark Hotel. How? :O And why??
It’s not going to ruin my life anyway, but just out of curiosity.
Enjoying a lovely cigar with a delicious espresso
Any recommendations for a really good Garden Centre within 20k of Kilkenny? Need more than just Woodies and not sure where to find one????
I don't want to sound like a fool but would I be wrong to assume that there is a mob/Mafia in Kilkenny and Waterford? I'm always seeing the same people sitting around drinking coffees in groups while smoking cigars. I even took the time to look at the brands on the cigars and they are not cheap at all.
Have a look for yourself. If you see someone with a cigar just have a look and see what I mean 😂
Hi guys,
My mam wants to learn how to do some basic makeup to accentuate her eyes and natural features, but has never been one for makeup and doesn't know how to do any. Does anybody know of any makeup artists in the Kilkenny area that give makeup lessons and would be able to teach a mature woman how to do soft makeup? (nothing full glam or heavy)
She said she'd prefer if she could learn from someone who's also a bit older and has first-hand experience in doing soft makeup for over 50s, but any recommendations would be much appreciated!
thank you <3
Could I rely on this service to be consistent with its arrival time to Dublin? Arrives in Dublin at 9:01 apparently , this would get me in to work on time but it would be a tight window, a delay once in a while is fine, but just wondering are their any regular delay issues?
Anyone know what the most reasonable priced dentist is in Kilkenny city ?
First time buyer, hunting houses atm. Very much confused with the areas. Spent some time around O'Loughlin area, lintown area .. ngl the houses are good there but I personally did not like the area. What are the best areas to look for? safety, peace and family friendly? Thanks in advance.
Hi, we saw a house in a new development called Nyne Park that we are thinking to buy, however, I have read mixed opinions about this area. Is it a good area to buy in and is it safe? Any concerns about the development?
Hi all, does anyone know if the Kilkenny chess club in the club house hotel is in any way active? I've recently moved to Kilkenny and am interested in joining.
Looking for catering for my mothers anniversary, where’s best place for sandwiches or lunch type things?
Title says it all really, just interested to see what people think
Howdy everyone. We are looking at our options about moving from US and Ireland is where we would like you to go. Wife has family in Kilkenny and I hear it’s a pretty great place. Not knowing much about it, are there any neighborhoods that you would recommend? We have a 14 and 12 year old. Oldest boy loves sports and the younger girl loves theater. I’m not sure of living in the town proper or living on outskirts in a detached home, which is what we are used to. I’ll take any suggestions or advice you may have. Thanks!
Best place for a tattoo in Kilkenny? Looking for a small one with flowers and things so looking for someone with a softer style, thank you!
Did anyone find a set of keys either up castle road or down the canal this evening???
Looking to join a gym with a nice pool/sauna. Assuming it’ll be one of the hotels. Any experiences/suggestions?
Not particularly looking for the fanciest, or the cheapest, just something that has good selection of both gym stuff and a decent sauna/steam room really
Hey folks, I've left it too late to buy a ticket online for the JJ Kavanagh bus tomorrow morning (Friday Nov 8th). I have the day off work and want to go down in the morning and see the place, and back to Dublin in the evening. Have never been. What's the story with these buses? Is there likely to be a seat if I just go down to the quays tomorrow morning and pay the driver?
Does anyone have an alternative number for Kinderland crèche in Ayrfield? Been trying to get through for a week and no answer; been using the number on here https://www.kkccc.ie/service/kinderland-creche/
