This subreddit is dedicated to Nether Realm Studio's DC Comics fighting video game, Injustice: Gods Among Us. Players, fans and those new to the game can keep up with and share the latest news, exchange information, share related content, and extend out to the community for people to play.
- Flair
Above, where it says "Welcome to the community!," you'll see your user name. To the right of it, it says "edit flair and gamertag." Click that and choose your flair! You can also enter your game ID and region so others can add you to play.
You may see some users with flair that has a colored border around it. Each color represents a different acheivement within the community.
Gold = A first place finish in a large sub tournament
Silver = A second place finish in a large sub tournament
Bronze = A third place finish in a large sub tournament
Red = A first place finish in a Sunday Night Fights tournament
If you want this special flair, you must earn it in tournament play. Don't be shy, join the fun!

/r/InjusticeGame has a Reddit wide tournament for PS3 (USA) and X-Box 360 every month. Look for the signup threads every month or so, and if you don't see one, that means we might not have a host, so help pitch in and organize one every now and then!

Gear System
So in the new Interview Ed Boon has stated that the Gear System will increase damage, health, defense and all the sorts.
This won't be a problem in tournaments, but it will eventually be hell online, because people who play it a lot can eventually have overpowered characters, what was once a 20% Combo could turn into a 40% Combo.
I don't know how NetherRealm is going to balance this, but I hope they find a way.

Did Atrocitus confirm variations for Injustice 2?
Some clips he is seen without Dex-Starr (eg. When he gets beaten down by SG at the start) but later on he is seen with Dex-Starr fighting at his side. Possible variation?
If you ask me it's gonna be a Ferra and Torr type variation.
EDIT: It wasn't a variation, but as some of you pointed out, a character trait.

On the gear system: Anyone else kinda worried?
It sounds like the gear system is going to modify not only the look but the actual abilities and performance of the characters. I am getting sfxt gem flashbacks. How in the hell are they going to balance stuff for the tournament scene? Especially if they are going to have a pro league or something.
What are your thoughts? Am I overreacting?
