For those of you who are running this setup, since the optic sits natively and is low profile, does the dot setup as an absolute co-witness? Or is there some space between it and the iron sights once dialed in, like a lower 1/3 co-witness?
Thanks to whomever posted about IWI's PSP program not long ago. Just picked up the Zion 16" and the hype is legit. From initial online order it took about a week to get mil status verified, coordinated FFL info. Got a phone call at about the 1 month mark that the rifle was built. Shipped a couple days later, got it about week 5 total time.
Gotten it to the range a couple of times now and it's absolutely perfect. Smooth, accurate, zero malfunctions. Can't wait to get it out again.
I am trying to decide between the two. My use case is home defense (suburbs), range time, and a potential SHTF option. I have been leaning towards the rifle but have heard a lot of good about the 12.5 option. Would ballistics be handicapped by going with the pistol? If so, by how much?
Hello, I have a slim masada and I want to buy or make an extension to the 13-round magazines. Does anyone know where to get them or if they can be made in 3D printing?

Anyone seen any 8” Galil x39’s in stock?
I’ve been wanting this gun for a while now and it’s been sold out everywhere. I decided to look on Gunbroker for it at random and there it was; I can finally say, after being part of this sub but looking in from the outside, I’m part of the IWI family.
Just got a new zion 15 and the serial is ZA0009XX. Is this randomized, old stock or is there under 900 lowers in circulation.
What should I add?
I'm ready to upgrade my home defense weapon from a revolver to a pistol, I want to get an IWI. I am not too far from Middletown, so I can easily make the drive there - do they sell directly, or do I need to go to a certified retailer for this? Thank you.
I’ve owned the 16 inch for about 2-3 years now and picked up the 12.5 today. Eotech will find a home on the new pistol and going to get an lpvo for the 16 inch. Had considered a build but lgs had this in stock and it’s cheaper than any of the PSA sabre stuff. Already installed an afg, radian raptor, and Geissele SSA. Definitely putting a surefire 3 prong on it so i can move the RC2 between both. Hope it’s as good to me as the full size has been!
Looking for information about this. I call his bluff.
I was looking at IWI X95’s at the local firearm store and the owner was telling me it’s essentially a waste of money. He stated the X95’s have a huge issue with rounds striking the end of the barrel aggressively. Enough that every 400 rounds you would need to change out the barrel. He must have preached for over 10 minutes that it’s a massive issue and most importantly some do it and some don’t. You just have to be lucky to get an X95 that doesn’t have a striking issue, or you’re Kaput. I have yet to see anybody mention this. He also said these X95’s are “publicly shamed” and have a taint to their name because of this issue. What gives?
My buddy Pete at armor guard suggested this guy. Once he is done making holsters for the 4 people who got them I’m taking it over there to move my front sight back and porting it like the hellcat pro comp
This was my first AR, a while ago and wanted to change it up a little. Cerakoted the hand guard and put some matching furniture on it. Now let’s go get it all dirty again!
Hey guys - have a Gen 1 Galil ACE RNL 13" and a Gen 1 Galil ACE rifle 16" NATO mags. I would like to make the 16" the RNL version and switch the 13" to the NATO mag version. Is this feasible and if so, how difficult would it be?
Thanks!
Been looking all over online and have found several FS9 but outside of the used market with higher prices than I want to spend for the condition they're in, I haven't been able to find an F9 anywhere. I understand they were discontinued but if anyone knows some places to look outside of the normal sights Google pops up with I would appreciate it!
I'm REALLLY itching to buy a masada slim. I've looked at links from posts further down on this page. Nothing. Any updates?

I’m dropping my gun off for armor guard to make a holster for another person who was having problems with his pro2 holster. I have let use my gun to make quite a few of these now if anyone else wants to have one be made send me a dm and contact armor guard by the end of this week
So some of you may know that I have been bitching a LOT over my problems with the concealability of the gun with the commander module.
Like everyone else, I bought the pro 2 customs holster. With the previous configuration I used the muddy river tactical holster with a claw and it was excellent. Of course, the 1911 style grip makes the gun less concealable, and we don’t have many options. My problem with the pro 2 customs holster is that the gun sits too high, and feels a little top heavy (muddy river holsters sit lower)
So I tried placing the gun in the AIWB but in a cross draw position (on my left side), and have found this helps a lot because it forces the flared grib up against the middle of my stomach and it doesn’t jut out. I’m still hoping muddy river will make a holster for this configuration. But for anyone else having the issues I described, this method works a lot better.
