Hi everybody
I just saw a uzi pistol in 9mm (semi auto unfortunately) today and thought it looked really cool (don't care if it's impractical, I like the funny shit not the practical ones).
Well, the gun store said they sell it for bit less than 1'500 usd. (Which is a lot for an oversized impractical bulky and heavy glock)
How much am I really overpaying if I do the math?
Thanks in advance
Haven't seen anything about the size of it other than people looking for the size or replacements. I work at a hardware store and despite not being able to use the metal stock (thanks NJ!) I figured I'd find out what size it is Incase I lose the one I have. Hopefully this helps anyone looking for the size of the factory bolt. Sometimes being bored is useful I guess.
Cruising the auctions daily I came across this bad boy categorized under ak parts. I can only assume that’s why this didn’t get bought up faster. A pinch over $400 shipped later I have a complete IMI semi bolt assembly. Seeing that McKay bolts are $550+ without the extractor I’m thrilled to have found this. Buffer block is a little chewed inside so I plan on replacing that and getting on with the project. Just need a barrel or two and I’ll be off to the races.
Hey guys,
I’ve got a transferable Uzi SMG that can’t feed an entire mag without jamming, I’d like a gunsmith to work on it but hoping to find someone that specializes in MG’s. I prefer not to have a local gunsmith experimenting with this thing.
Thanks!
Hello all,
I have a Group Industries receiver that is bent but does not have the lip for the grip assembly stamped in it. I've seen that there are a specific set of dies that are used to press the lip in. Does anyone know where I can get a set. Or alternatively, if anyone has the dimensions, I can machine a set.
Any help is such appreciated!
Using a McKay receiver and original IMI parts kit. If I push the top cover down on a table I can get it to latch, but not by hand. This normal for Uzis? Or do i need to adjust something
What title says, just seeing if anyone wants to clean up their parts bin before I order online
Hey guys, I really need a ratcheting top cover replacement for my transferable mini uzi. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find one. If any of you have one you’d be willing to part with or know where I can get one please let me know ❤️
Hello, never owned an Uzi carbine before, just wondering if the IMI model b Uzis are reliable for all you that own one?
Also is the orange manual always serialized or did action arms stop doing that late into production?
Forgive me if this gets asked a lot, just gathering info before I make purchase. Thanks in advance.
Just wrecked a barrel shroud. Set screw walked out just enough that the shroud moved up and took 2 hits. Still usable but I'd rather get another. Either way I should have used loctite and not needed to order another 60 dollar fake suppressor.
Looking to get a sling swivel and rivet pin, anyone have an extra i can buy off you or know where to buy both?
I AOW it only because I cannot have SBR in NJ, so AOW is the only way to have a short uzi type firearm.
Have a spare topcover. Might get the mounting kit if it's easy to put on. If anyone has experience id love to hear how they are. Also thank you to all the members of this community for helping me create my favorite PCC that I own, you guys made the process near seamless!!!
Welding and arms are hobbies. I have seen posts of kits with demilled parts and was thinking about building from parts or a kit. Do I need to fill out a form 1 and get it approved as I’m building 1) before I start collecting parts?, 2) just before the build is finished? 3) after build finished ? 4) not at all? If it stays non-functional (no bolt/firing pin) do I need a form 1 at all? Thx
Who is your favorite Uzi parts marketplace? Classifieds, not parts dealer. The Uzitalk link is dead, and I haven't seen any other halfway decent community trading section.
