I do a lot of product photography and landscape and I want to get more into everything else. Hit me up if you want to do a shoot. I’m open to almost whatever.
I'm working on a documentary that is set in Houston in the early 1970s. While we are in town to film interviews, we want to shoot some B-roll of locations that look as they did in the early 1970s. It could be anything...homes...buildings...parks...signage etc. Don't worry about "new" stuff that might be around like cars and such. Thank you for any suggestions!
Hi Houston photographers! My fiancé and I are eloping at the 1400 Lubbock courthouse on October 30th at 1:30p. We're looking for a photographer after the ceremony to take some quick shots of us in our wedding outfits, with our rings, etc. Preferably in an outdoor spot, if the weather permits.
All of the packages we've seen online for local photographers are whole ceremony packages. We just want a quick few shots somewhere to savor the moment. We plan on doing a larger ceremony with our families in the future, so we don't want to buy into an entire package for a quick photoshoot.
Can anyone help us out, or has a recommendation for someone who does this type of photoshoot? We'd be forever grateful. 🙏
First off lemme start by saying I’m a photographer and love nothing more than shooting in my free time . I’ve really been looking for open wheat fields to take amazing pictures in , have the outfits and poses but can’t seem to find any fields. Plz help
My husband and I had a destination wedding, and going in I knew I didn't love the photographer's style of edits going in. However, I was kind of stuck with them unless I wanted to pay a $2k fee for an outside vendor. Luckily, they were totally fine sending me all the RAW files and me editing them.
I'm searching for a wedding photographer that would 1. Be willing to edit someone else's RAW photos and 2. Work closely with me to correct some really bad features that are a theme throughout all the photos (bad wedding makeup, windy/flyaway hair, etc).
Where do I start to review portfolios to see which photographers' styles I like, and how should I politely ask if they're interested in editing only?
Considering the same thing for the wedding video/highlight reel. The background music they put over it is so clubby (>.<)
Any team/club/school looking for some photos of their game or practice.
I am willing to come out and take some pictures of your event. Willing to give the unedited pics to you. And when time allows even send the edited images.
Any pro looking for a tag along to their next event, I can act as a 2nd photographer and or assistant.
No charge obviously.
I use Nikon equipment (D500 and Z 7 ii)
I’m taking my parents 50 year anniversary pics and needs some ideas of elegant spots I can take the pictures. Any ideas of where I can go downtown
ANY ONE ELSE INTERESTED IN A LIBRARIES/CAFES/PHOTOGRAPHY?
I’m a beginner here with a background in styling/creative directing. Always had a good eye but never thought to pick up a camera. It’s becoming my passion now. If you like cinematography and creating cool projects let’s connect
Just need a couple photos taken on a white background. As well as some up close to get the texture (stills and short video clips). Pieces are about 72"x46". Can have them set up at my place or will bring to you. Trying this community to hopefully get someone decent starting out and because I'm not sure I can afford a full blown studio.
Thanks!
$800 - Canon EOS 6D 20.2MP Digital SLR Camera Bundle with three lenses and accessories
Not sure if we're open to listing items for sale on this subreddit but if you're interested in moving into a full frame DSLR I have an entire set up for sale. I've recently transitioned to a Sony mirrorless for travelling and I'm looking to offload my canon gear, I'm not really looking to split up the sale as I don't want to have to do multiple meet ups.

Hey guys. I am taking my bestfriend's maternity photos at sunrise this weekend. Has to be sunrise because she has other obligations at sunset.
I am only in town for a day as i am from Dallas. Are there any parks near tomball, the woodlands, etc that has a nice waterfall or pretty water backdrop. She wanted a botanical garden initially but they do not open until 8 am
Beware of Joshua Burton - AKA: Huggyloso or 37Chmbr. I trusted him with two minolta cameras to reapair, and stupidly paid already and haven't been able to get either my cameras or money back since early January. Yes, I did file a police report.
Edit to add: It has come to my attention that he's on facebook as JoshBHTX which displays the name Chris Delgado
I feel like a real idiot, but if you know anyone else who he scammed let me know and I'll put it all together for a police report.
A friend and I have been wanting to go stargazing and I remembered that I have a camera and she does too, and tripods. We're thinking of spending the night somewhere to shoot photos of the nightsky and stars but don't know any good sites.
Need a decent spot to take pictures, preferably in the cypress area and surrounding (Katy, Tomball, etc). Any is fine but if you know a spot thats got like red lights that would be pretty cool!
Trying to find a general location of a grassy field area within Terry Hershey Park that would be great for family portraits. I’ve seen some examples and I believe it’s within Terry Hershey but given it’s so large, I can’t quite in down which location would be best for the pictures. Any one have a great go-to location there that they’d recommend for beautiful, natural, outdoor family photos? 🙏
I buddy of mines just asked me if I can do a photoshoot for a his friend's prom next week. I'm i'd say a decent photographer (started with a canon 80d 2yrs ago). I usually do landscapes not portraits but I said yes thinking it'd get to experience something new. Is there any places here in Houston that y'all would say are nice spots to shoot prom pictures? Any place y'all went to get your photos taken?
Looking for a photographer in the area who is good with retouch. I’ve hired some and it went so wrong. I am a professional companion so having good photos with good retouch is SUPER important.

I’m flying into Houston for work for the week and I am bringing my camera with for the trip and hoping to take some shots while I’m there. Does anyone have any good recommendations for some spots to shoot? I will mostly be free in the evening so some night spots would be great.
