Is it ok to keep this ?
First time doing mash. Followed recipe which said to put baking parchment over top to keep mash under brine. It's been two months but u think I used too big of a Croc. Looks like kham on top. It's quite dusty. Cam I take it off and pasteuris ??
I have tried some popular hot sauces and all have gone to the garbage after trying once or twice. So I dont want to waste money anymore and thought I’d get your suggestions. Some of them were:
Siracha (too sour and not spicy at all) Franks (not tasty too vinegary and also not spicy) Tobasco original ( too sour and ok not spicy) Tobasco chipotle ( not liking the flovour also not spicy)
What I like: basically sweet and spicy very little sour more on the hot side.
I am from the tropics and can handle hot. We usually make spicy sauces with mango/ pineapple. I don’t know what Scoville I can handle as I’ve never tested. I want and good burn from the throat to the ear.
Ideally a tropical south Asian flavour sweet/sour and good burn baby burn lol.
Unsurprising to anyone, I'm sure, but mistakes were definitely made.
Sorry if this technically doesn't count as hot sauce, but I need a suggestion for the best horseradish you have had. I told the group i would bring it to thanksgiving.
What do you put on your brats?

Excited to try the hot version of smoky street corn!
Hi, long time lurker. Just tried one of, if not THE worst hot sauce I've ever had. It was ASDA (a UK supermarket) own brand Habanero Chilli sauce. It tasted like literal garbage, like someone decided to scoop up bin juice and added a few chilli's to it. I can handle heat (It's not that hot but a little sting) but after trying it I feel disappointed and almost sick. It's got me wondering, what is the absolute worst hot sauce you've ever had?
Hot sauces to avoid:
Da Bomb
Dave's Insanity
Louisiana Gold Green
Rooster Pepper
I recently found this Canadian-made scotch bonnet hot sauce! Red Cap Hot Sauce pairs amazingly with eggs in the morning, and I've never had something like this before.
What I like about it:
Check it out! Red Cap Hot Sauce
Hello Everyone, here is my latest food review for anyone interested. Thank you for your consideration.
Where does everyone buy their bottles ? I have been looking everywhere and cant find affordable bottles.
Hi guys I know glass bottles is the way to go but why some brands sells the hot sauce in plastic bottles?? I thought plastic bottles for hot sauce was a NO NO....
My husband started collecting 30 years ago before it became the thing to do. Now he is considering selling it. Any suggestions on how to go about it?
