I've bought these in the sale as it looks fun. But haven't seen a lot of reviews for them
Steam page: store.steampowered.com/app/3263000/DMT_Simulator
COMING TO THE BIG SCREEN! ARE YOU SERIOUS; CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT RIDE.
There was gas and people stuck in traps, you had to watch them die and then take their filter im pretty sure, I don't remember much else other than the entire place being dark, i saw this on youtube and I don't remember the game's name.
Hi all,
I'm hosting a horror game night for 7-8 people and am looking for some suggestions for short horror games (2-30 mins) or slightly longer ones that would work well with a "pass the controller" at convenient points tactic.
I have a PS5 and a laptop for the evening.
I've already found a few short io games I think would work. (Hungry Lamu, Ghosts in these stalls, Make sure it's closed etc.)
And I'm toying with the idea of Mortuarys assistant as a longer game, passing the controller at the end of each body/ shift.
Any suggestions to go along with these would be greatly appreciated!
We have a few in mind, but we are looking at the offers to see which one to buy. Thank you!
I haven't played minecraft for a long time and I want to start playing with some horror mods. I'll be using 1.20.1 and the forge mod loader. Thanks for any help! :)
So I've been game dev'ing for a few years now and decided to make a horror games that I've had in my head for a few years. its based loosely on the idea of votv and has a tower inspired by fire-watch. Let me know what you think if you play it, I'd appreciate the feedback. There are spooky and creepy enemies. The real fun begins at night.
I played a preview build of A.I.L.A and I gotta say, this is terrifying and took me all the way back to P.T.
The fact that this game uses a VR tester as a main plot point lets the game run wild with different locations and themes in a horror setting.
I did a full write up of the preview over on my site below, here’s a snippet if you’re interested in taking a look.
“I’ve played a lot of horror games in my time. From Resident Evil to Outlast, from third-person zombies to first-person mental asylums. Sometimes you fall into a sense of familiarity with how a horror game presents itself and are somewhat, slightly prepared for what’s next. In comes A.I.LA, and I did not attain that sense of familiarity at all.
Every corridor was filled with unease, dread when a door was locked, and I had to slowly turn around to see what might be waiting—the tense moments every time I walked past a lifeless mannequin. I was filled with constant fear of what was going to happen. A.I.L.A. threw everything, including the kitchen sink at me. Just when I thought I started to understand what A.I.L.A. could do, it upended my expectations, and I can’t wait to see what else this game has in store. “
The new Clocktower remake is out, i got it for only $20 on Xbox
I want the game to be a success so they’ll make more Clocktower games. Clocktower Rewind is the first game with added features. It’s available on every console and it was only $20, unlike Capcom charging full price for a remaster of Dead rising
Go buy and play it so the game is successful!
I just finished resident evil 4 remake, loved it. But I want to depart from the resident evil franchise to play some other games that are just as good. My options are silent hill 2 (og not remake) evil within, or dead space remake.
Edit: Silent Hill 2 it is! Gonna play the other two games after! I appreciate everyone’s input! This is a really awesome subreddit! Hope everyone has a happy Halloween! :)
What is the name of the genre of horror games that is low-quality stuff? There's always some sort of a filter on the visuals, like an analog horror, grainy filter. I have only watched these kinds of games on YouTube, but I always absolutely love them because they are so scary to me. Some examples of the kind of game I am talking about are any of the gas station horror games, Fears to Fathom, Stay out of the House, Night Shift, and The House.
Repent also has a big discount so if you didn’t try it yet what are you waiting for? We are very grateful for your reviews and we really enjoy seeing you playing our first project! We had big streamers that we would never imagine would notice us. Thanks again for your support!
What would you consider a good puzzle for a horror game, because I feel that many of them just exist for more play time. Even the coin puzzle in SH2 remake just felt annoying to me (I am dumb) and I feel did little to add to the atmosphere. If anything it just made it feel less scary during that time.
What makes a good horror puzzle?
