4. Keep the discussion on survival and psychological horror games/series.
Survival Horror means games like Resident Evil (excluding 5 & 6), Fatal Frame, Amnesia, Lone Survivor, etc. Games that, de-emphasize combat, limit resources, have a dread-filled atmosphere, etc.
Psychological Horror games apply to things like Yume Nikki and Silent Hill. Games that have a dreadful atmosphere and wear down on your mind with subtle imagey and sound design, instead of constant in-your-face horror and scares.
Action horror applies to games like Resident Evil 5 & 6, Fear, Doom 3, Left 4 Dead, etc.
Please post about those that fall under Survival and Psychological Horror. If you aren't sure if it qualifies, shoot us a message.

I’m trying to find some more to play :)
You make a game with a great artistic design, a great concept of horror (= vulnerable young woman chased by various people that want to capture her for various reasons, you can fight back but only so much) in a cool setting and go from enemies such as "Psycho maid angry at you for being actually able to conceive a child" to "literally just an angry old man chasing you while crawling on the floor", you make a.... definitely so well thought but still original crafting system to make alchemical tools for combat and so on and so forth.
And you "final sequence" involved the big evil guy burned to death chasing you in one last attempt to get you, while you run to safety.
It should have been a simple thing to do, yet they fucked it up.
How the fuck does anyone even *THINK* that a "QTE where I don't even tell you what button you have to press, which in truth is a time check to see how distant the monster is from you" was a good idea?
Who thought to make so that the only reliable way to outrun the monster is to not engage with the horror of the situation and stop and crouch for a few seconds every now and then to avoid falling?
Jesus fucking christ.
I will choose one and here are some rules

I played the most famous Survival Horror games, so well, any good indies to recommend me?
Indies i played
Them and us
Tormented souls
Alisa
Crow Country
Hollowbody
Daymare (both)
Eldervale
Signalis
Already completed or am playing Signalis, Tormented Souls, Crow Country, and Alisa. I honestly don't know what to play next. These were the only games that looked as good as Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Dead Space, and Alan Wake.
Doesn't seem like there is anything else left, please help me.
i'm trying to find this old zombie game i played when i was younger. it was the early 2010s and so i believe it was either ps3 or xbox 360, but all i remember is it was first person and theres a part that includes the character crawling through i believe a tram or bus or something similar while there is heaps of zombies around him but not noticing, and then theres a jump scare with a zombie grabbing him and going real close to his face. it was also night time during this part of the game. i realise this is extremely broad and vague but ive been trying to find this game for like 10 years 😢🙏😭
