A branch off of /r/gamedev for game developers to post screenshots of work-in-progress, concept art, and more.

Please only post development screenshots or sketches of your own game. It doesn't have to be pretty, but the idea is to show the world what you've been making.

Examples of type of content:

  • Debug views (such as: http://debugviewart.tumblr.com/)
  • Unfinished models, renders, animations
  • What your multi-monitor screen looks during development
  • Sketches that then lead to implementation
  • Actual in-game screens of your game

Feel free to include the title of your game (if it has one) and a link in the comments for people to find it (if available).

As a challenge to release the game in 30 devlogs, I'm working on retro arcade Galactic Showdown inspired by Asteroids (1979). Code, testing, music and art are done by a solo carbon neural network in the form of a bag of bones on a hobby basis. Early access coming soon!

Our cyberpunk bullet heaven game, Sodaman, is part of the Bullet Heaven Festival! We've crafted a new demo inspired by Balatro's joker system. Plus, you can collect cybernetic blueprints from bosses to build your own custom playstyle. Try it out, and you'll see exactly why I mentioned Balatro! :)

Work on the demo for my unique horror visual novel continues! Each character has their own dark secrets to share. Will you be the one to learn them?

I have updated the menu of my first indie game โ€žThe First Mineโ€œ. You can select the mode, size, difficulty and your character. Each character has different characteristics that influence the game. What do you think?

I'm a solo dev working hard to learn pixel art for my game. I donโ€™t aim for pro-level graphics, but I want something cool and appealing. Do you think Iโ€™m getting close to that?

I've created a "Stool and Chair Pack" and am planning a "Volume 2." What else could I add to make it better? Your ideas are greatly appreciated!

So when populating the Shrines or other event instead of only making these a pure hack n slash fest we're also trying to sprinkle in some puzzles. What are some of your favorite puzzles that you've encountered in action adventure games? ๐Ÿงฉ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

In Anomaly President, you'll not only fight crime but also progress through a presidential election! To align with this, we're developing a mini game where you can win voters' hearts by making strategic gestures. Here's a sneak peek at the first concept art hope you enjoy it :)
