Future garage is a style of electronic music that derives from 2-step and UK garage. It stands out from other forms of electronica thanks to its jittery rhythms and sparse, syncopated beats reminiscent of dub and dubstep.
Future garage is typically performed at tempos ranging from 130 to 140 beats per minute (BPM).
Information:
A current scene of people off-shooting from Dubstep, taking it back to its UK Garage/2-Step/Dark Swing/Bass driven roots away from the current influx of the over-used Wobble and fusing it with Detroit and Dub-Techno making futuristic and often very off kilter modern rhythmic production styles (controversially) called Future Garage. Some notable innovators include: Whistla, Submerse, Sully, Littlefoot, Erra, Kingthing, Deadboy, Brackles, Shortstuff, Phaeleh, Pariah, Sigha, Spherix and Synkro as well as established artists from other areas such as Duncan Powell, Falty DL, Monz, Burial, 2562, SBTRKT and Martyn etc.

Check out my latest album.
Another one from my latest EP. Not sure if this counts as futuregarage but thought it might fit here.
My all time favourite band needs more remixes! Feedback on production, mixing, and mastering would be greatly appreciated.
Another tune from my latest EP. Hope you enjoy it.
I have been making a future garage mix that has gone very well. However, I am looking to transition to a similar sounding genre with a bit more energy but still keep that darker melancholy feel while staying somewhat minimal but not repetitive with longer ambient build up and outros. I have tried many genres, such as deep techno/house, dub techno, UK garage, etc., but none fit how I want them to.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Hey guys we have just released a brand new debut LP and we were wondering if you’d be happy to give it a listen 😊
