I got stuck in system TPHEN SLATA on my way to refuel at Hassanien Station (after underestimating the availability of fuel at multiple smaller terrestrial and orbital settlements). o7 to both commanders, I was able to successfully reach the station after rescue. I am thinking 4G hangar, 3A shields, 2-supercruise assist, 1-adv docking, the last two being for my own comfort.

Didn't want to bother dispatch as I'm not currently in an emergency, but I was wondering if fuel rats have ever or do ever service carriers?

You see, for the last 2 years my crew and I have been on a galactic tour zigzagging across the galaxy to Beagle Point. I already mined thousands of tons near Colonia and managed to buy a bunch more from some other carriers stationed in Azura Initiative space.

Unfortunately my hold is now under half and at some point during our return trip I'll need enough fuel to make it to Colonia. The quantity would likely be in the thousands of tons to be delivered roughly 20,000LY away from Sag A on the far side of the galaxy.

I don't necessarily need anyone to help me mine the Tritium, I made sure my crew was prepared for that (although anyone who wants to is welcome) but I feel that if there were CMDRs up to the challenge, a group effort to ship the fuel from Colonia would immensely speed up the process and would drastically reduce my risk of defaulting on the carrier balance (as I would have to allocate my time to both mining and exploring life forms to fund the weekly balance).

Thoughts?

I started exploring and of course I ran out of fuel, I posted on fuel rats and got fuel within minutes. I thought this was automatic thing done by the server, but then I found out there are people out there doing the gods work, the AAA of Elite Dangerous. This game is 10 years old and to have a community like this just blew my mind. Thank you all that do the work.

Hello everyone! I have recently wanted to become a fuel rat and went to their website to sign up. I accidentally messed up the numbers on my email and now I can't verify my email to complete sign in. I contacted their support about changing my email and have not heard back. How long should I wait before trying to make a new account. Its been about a day and a half since I submitted my request. Again I dont know how long it normally takes them. Wish they had a way where you could just change your email on the website without having to contact support lol. Anyways, thank you for reading this!

So i want to get back in it because i can finally play elite again on my new pc. BUT there is no way i can get my NickServ password correct. Is there any way to reset it and assign a new password?

I was wanting to join the fuel rats, I sent a request on elite dangerous itself, but when I go on line to the website to fill out the application I get an error so the site can't process it.

I am trying to be more social in the game, nothing is more social than helping that's why I want to join. I can do. It only fuel but also repair if needed.

Anyways let me know what I can do to join, I do have IRC so I can join the server later on if that works as well.

Heya, I was interested in becoming a fuel rat, but it didn't seem like there was a discord server anywhere that I could find--I did find some posts from ~3 years ago that explained why, at the time, they did not use Discord, but I was curious if things had changed in that time.

How's it going? I'm just trying to crowdsource help with organizing drills.

- Are there better times to ask for a drill than others?

- Are certain 'seers more likely to assist than others, and if so, which ones?

- Should I contact a 'seer directly, or openly through #ratchat?

- Will a submitted request (on the fuelrats.com service desk) last indefinitely, or will it expire after a time?

Basically, if I can't get one organized, what are some ways to get one scheduled more reliably? Thanks!

Found my first Fuel Rat fleet carrier today while doing the longest cargo mission I’ve ever attempted. Did I need fuel? No! Did I land anyways because I appreciate the Fuel Rats? HELL YES. Howdy comrades, fellow rat here. I’m out exploring the galaxy in Legacy Horizons, still packing my fuel transfer controller, and I was wondering if there’s any way for me to get a rat signal of anyone way out here, besides sitting in the IRC to get rat signals coming from the bubble.

I’d like to be able to help but if I can’t get any word of anyone out here who may need help, I can’t, so are there any good options for that kind of communication?

o7 Commanders. I am interested in being a fuel rat. While I’m not 100% sure on the timing, I am sure about trying it.

I am on Xbox and play almost daily. Have fleet carrier (if needed)and have BP pinned with every engineer in the game including Lori Jameson and the 4 in Colonia. My current location is between bubble and Colonia and I am thinking about basing out of Colonia for a while so I could be useful further out as my guess would be the bubble is pretty well covered, even on console.

My current ship-friend is a leggy little phantom with 75 ly jump range. Highest I’ve seen for heat was 67% while scooping from nearly empty to full. She’s decked out w repair limpet controller, 2 amfu modules and an SRV. To add a fuel limpet control for rescuesI would take out the SRV while ratting.

Let me know what the next steps are. I have a couple prior obligations until about mid May but am willing to get things rolling.

I'm thinking of becoming a fuel rat because it would give me a good way to contribute to the community but I have a couple questions.

1. Are there any people still playing legacy on the XBOX/PS4?(The 2 platforms I play)
2. I'm not on often, is there any requirements to how often I'm on or is it whenever I can?
