Its a story called "I'll Always Protect You, Sis". The premise of the story is that Elsa wants to protect her younger sister Anna from those who want to use her fire powers for their own ends. But the twist is that magic runs in Elsa's family but (despite her white hair and being born on the winter solstice) she doesnt have ice powers, which she laments on.

Frozen 3: The Golden Thread - 5th Draft

This is a direct sequel to my rewrite of Disney's Frozen II, Frozen 2: the River of Memories, or 'Frozen 2: TROM' for short.

The ONLY other Disney works in the franchise that I'm considering as canon for this 'AU setting' here are Frozen 1, and possibly Olaf's Frozen Adventure; and the only date I'm considering as definite here is Elsa's birthday (Winter Solstice 1817), as a starting point.

Like many, many creative works, it's taken (significantly) longer than I expected (I came up with the overall plot summary as a 3p pdf by late August 2020), but I enjoyed the challenge, and now you can all enjoy the results of my efforts!

My focus with this 5th Draft was reducing the page count (at 128 pages, compared to the previous Drafts at 189p, 166p, 152p, and 140p respectively), and this Draft has been streamlined to be compatible with either Disney's Frozen II, or my Frozen 2: TROM rewrite.

As I mentioned previously, I've also created a 'Making-of' file that details the references (Real-world, Disney, cultural, etc.) that went into this fan-script's creation, as well as relevant concept art that fits with the vision that I have here. As this contains unmarked spoilers for this script, I plan to make it available on request or for those who've read the full work.

Hello, fanfic writers. I hope you all are doing well.

So, I've been writing this fanfic for years but recently I decided to rewrite it because back then I didn't have a clear plan before.

This fanfic is not a retelling of the movie. Instead, it is my own take on Disney's Frozen, my version of the story that I believe should've been. It's based on the movie's early drafts (particularly 2012 versions) while staying true to the movie's core themes. I do like the movie, but it does have a lot of flaws, such as sugarcoating, rushed pacing, and the execution of certain elements like Hans' villainy.

My fanfic has elements of past frozen concepts never made into the film. This includes Elsa being more antagonistic, her snowman army, an explanation of her powers' origins, and the troll's prophecy.

I want suggestions and critiques for the plot draft of the story. It's very summarized, so there are details of the story not mentioned in the draft, like the backstory and flashbacks.

Here's the (hopefully) final draft:

“A ruler with a frozen heart will bring destruction to the kingdom of Arendelle.” Troll’s prophecy.

During Elsa's birthday, Anna asked for Elsa’s blessing to marry Admiral Prince Hans, but Elsa snapped, showed her powers, and ran away in fear. The Duke of Weselton convinced everyone that Elsa was the villain of the troll’s prophecy, who would destroy Arendelle.

Elsa let it go, froze her own heart, and become the infamous Snow Queen living in her ice palace up the north mountain with her snowmen.

Years later, Anna and Hans were about to get married, but Elsa stopped this by setting off an eternal winter, forcing Anna to climb up the mountains with Kristoff. When she reaches Elsa with Olaf’s aid, they had gone into a fight before Elsa accidentally freezes her heart. Anna and Kristoff seek the trolls for help, while Elsa sets up an army of robotic snowmen to counter Hans’ army and prevent them from invading her ice palace. Following the troll’s instructions, Anna and Kristoff went to save Elsa.

Unbeknownst to others, Hans caused a catastrophic avalanche to stop Elsa and her army, jeopardizing Arendelle. Elsa saved Anna and Kristoff and stopped the avalanche to save Arendelle.

On Elsa’s orders, Kristoff returned Anna to Arendelle, believing Hans’ kiss would thaw her heart.

However, remnants of Elsa’s army survived the avalanche and marsh down to Arendelle. Elsa halts them but somehow they got out of her control. Instead, they actively tried to kill her, their own creator. Out of nowhere, Hans joined forces with Elsa to fight the rebellious, frozen robots. In the end, the last robot knocked Elsa out but got destroyed by Hans, then he put Elsa in the dungeons before returning to Anna.

Suddenly, Anna found that Hans was the prophecy’s villain all along when he revealed his plans to take over the kingdom and his true feelings towards her. Anna stopped him from hurting Elsa, sacrificing herself in the process and thawing both her and Elsa’s frozen hearts.

Hans got imprisoned and sent back to his home. Elsa returns as Queen of Arendelle and is accepted, while Anna courts Kristoff. Most importantly, the sisters reformed their relationship through the power of love.

I kinda treat it as if it's an original novel or something. Perhaps it's because of this advice to pretend that your fanfic has never been seen before.

I was confused about whether I make Anna Queen while Elsa remains the Snow Queen but is accepted by the kingdom, become Anna's advisor/right hand, and Arendelle's protector, or make Elsa Queen of Arendelle as a sign of her redemption. I guess the former ending is a bit similar to that in Frozen 2.

I will upload it on Archive of our own, username M_IhsanArt. Also, there's an early, incomplete version of the fanfic already written with only 9 chapters (I finished the 10th before but didn't upload it.)

Anybody know any fanfics that are similar to Elsa Is Suffering? Such as stories set in modern times.

I'm looking for any Self Insert fics where the SI inserts into Elsa.

Let's say Disney gives you an opportunity to make a Frozen movie like Spider-Man: No Way Home, a movie where Elsa and Anna face villains from alternate versions of themselves. Now, let's say Disney gives you the right to choose five villains from Frozen fanfics you read to be the antagonists of the movie like previous five Spidey villains are in No Way Home.

What villains will you choose?

I don't know all five right now, but Daniel from A Frozen Wight would be one of them.
