Hello everyone,

As many of you know, external obligations have pretty much prevented me from actively working on A Dream of Arendelle for some time. Over the past months, I have been participating in several local band auditions, travelled to national marching competitions, and am currently going through the process of auditioning for Drum Corps International. Band is very important to me. I have been heavily focused on these auditions and performances, and preparation for those ate up most of my time. Combine practice with homework from AP courses, and on most days I had less than 30 minutes to write. This is simply not enough time to gain momentum in writing, or to get A Dream of Arendelle up to a standard that I am pleased with.

This being said, A Dream of Arendelle is not dead. With the end of the band season, I have much more time to write every day and my old schedule may resume. I have been working on the next chapter of ADoA for about a week now, and am pleased to say that it will be ready for publication next week!

From here, I plan to start a normal and dedicated writing schedule. After the next chapter is posted, you can expect a new chapter every 4-7 days, and I will make an announcement if a chapter must be delayed for any reason (I know I will have to take one week off in January, but that is the only conflict I have for the foreseeable future).

Now, a little bit on where we are in A Dream of Arendelle. The fanfic will contain there Acts, and we are currently about halfway through Act I. So, it will be a long fic. My current goal is to finish before the summer, and I believe that is something that I can accomplish.

I would like to thank all of my readers for their wonderful support and dedication. A special thanks to all of my wonderful proofreaders, /u/ArendelleKnight, /u/Henmageddon, and /u/CleansedBubbles. They make sure I don't have any incredibly stupid mistakes in my writing, that it is a clean as possible at the time of publication, and play a big role in upholding the standard of the writing. Without them, I can confidently say that A Dream of Arendelle would be much, much worse. Also, a massive thanks to /u/charredgrass for creating this wonderful sub!

EDIT: Working on the chapter currently, but still busy. It will be out either today (Saturday) or Sunday or Monday.

Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know there's been a slight delay in my release schedule. School was a little crazy last night so I didn't have much time to write, and that has pushed back the release of this chapter a couple of days. I am very sorry and it kills me to do this, but I don't want to rush out a bad chapter. It will be ready in a few days!

/u/cupcakes_please told me he expects chapter 9 to be up Sunday or Monday. Does anyone have any predictions?

Who sent the black powder? Who set off the explosion? Was it intended for the queen, or was she just at the wrong place at the wrong time?

I love this fic!

But at the same time, I can't help but dread the events that are going to happen. I am a sucker for happy endings, and it would be so heartbreaking if all Elsa and Anna has going for them is death and nothing else.

Shall we see a flicker of hope in the end, or is Arendelle doomed? What do you all think?

I just talked to /u/cupcakes_please, and he expects the next chapter to be online in the next 24 hours. Does anyone have any predictions?
