Let's talk and discuss why there's nothing good at the airport except corporate garbage, why El Indio doesn't get more credit for inventing the rolled taco or just why all the taco shops around here seem to end in "buerto's".

Which taco shops have the best nachos with cheese sauce? Don't need all the fixings on top, just some delicious sauce and some pickled jalapenos! I live in North Park, but willing to drive.
Any recommendations for good Jerk Chicken?
Just in time for Mother's Day. Here's the list for California:

Hello
I'm hoping to find a restaurant in the SD county area that does a really good Aguachile / ceviche / fresh Mariscos, mexican style. I don't care about what region in Mexico it's from. Preferably the restaurant would be:
Authentically mexican
Informal and casual
Have alcoholic drinks
They are promote the fact that they source their food from local fisherman in the San Diego area
If you have any recommendations I'd love to hear what everyone thinks!
Hello!
I'd love to go to an authentic, primarily spanish-speaking Mexican Cantina somewhere in the San Diego area. The criteria are:
If you know a place, I'd love to go drink a modelo and listen to some corridos en vivo.
Thanks!
Hi! Anyone know of boba shops that sell milk tea jugs? Supposed to bring bulk milk tea to my wedding next week, to serve 25-35 people. Just basic flavors like Thai tea and such. The closer to La Jolla the better. Thanks!
I am on the lookout for Dutch Crunch bread after having a life-changing sandwich from Ghost Sando in LA (the Uncle Nicky to be precise). I need this bread in my life on the reg. Any places in SD that sell it? Thanks!
Is it common for restaurants to run into such large issues with the SDGE?
Hi, saw a couple of those videos online and I wanted to tackle one just for fun. Any the county?
New to the north county area. Who makes a good bean, rice and cheese ? Bonus if tortilla has char spots . Thanks
Interested in date night spots and places good for groups!
Do places need reservations??
Recently moved to San Diego, looking for a place that would have a lot of mole options to buy (that I could potentially taste test as well). I went to a market in Mexico City and fell in love with this peanut butter mole. Looking to find something similar that I could cook at home with.
On the hunt for a delicious steak sammie that’s not a Philly cheesesteak, though those slap too.

Where can I find crispy rice w/spicy tuna in N. County?
What are some good options for Mother’s Day brunch that aren’t crazy expensive (less than $75 per person)?
A little overpriced? Sure. But I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my meals there. I go to Din Tai Fung all the time lol.
Bonus statement: The Taco Stand is not good.
Ok, this requires you to read my mind. My wife and I like fun places to go and on a recent trip to San Diego we really enjoyed going to Sam the Cooking Guy's Not Not Tacos etc.
We are not foodies, we are not fancy, we're not impressed by chef names per se (we just like Sam).
Anyway, we were at the M Winehouse at Fir and India in Little Italy and mentioned that place to a friend some years ago who said "OMG you were so close to _____! If you like Sam you'd like this place!"
But I can't remember who/what it was.
It's likely not super fancy, it's likely not some big name like Nobu. It would be something quirky or YouTube related or something along those lines. Any thoughts?
(edited to change First to Fir)
Basically stealing a post from earlier today asking about salsas, but I’m trying to find the best store bought guac. Usually I buy it from northgate but are there any other spots I should try?
one of my favs.
Where can I find good quality Jasmine Rice and Lemongrass, Kafir Lime Leaves for Thai curries? Is there any specific brand recommendations for the rice?
Hey Everyone,
I signed up to bring salsa to a fish fry and don’t want to disappoint.
Any recommendations as to the best place to buy salsa? Was thinking maybe some carnicerias sell some homemade-like salsa.
We need that spicy tuna crispy rice!!! Wonder what it’s replacing?
What are you guys ordering at this place? I’ve gone here at the lemon Grove location like twice, and I must be doing something wrong because I find the food taste similar to El Pollo Loco.
