Have not really watched much of Suggs games so I don’t have much insight into him would love to hear your point of views
Honest question (and strictly from my experience in H2H standard 12 leagues)- "Experts" post videos constantly reminding us to draft players who will end up w/ better ranking at the end vs his current ranking (pre-season).
While I understand the "value" in this, how this can help teams win 5-4 or better every week hasn't been clearly explained. Example- say I'm one 3pt shooters away from dominating the threes category, why would I take a big who doesn't shoot 3s even though his has great value? In other words, the "draft based on value" strategy should stop at a certain point and just build based on needs?
Love to hear some thoughts on this.
The ultimate "play it safe" vs "high risk high reward" argument towards the end of the first round. Are we super convinced AD will play that many games again after not having done so since the NOP days? Does DeRozan impact Sabonis' value that much? If AD repeats, he's certainly bordering top 5 value, but is it a better idea to get the sure thing when you're already fighting an uphill climb against the consensus top 4 picks in the draft? I'd love to hear where people are leaning this year between these two
His ADP on Yahoo is 50.ish
I just think all these games the past few years where he’s been out due to bullshit nagging injuries are done. He wants to get one last bag. And when he plays, he’s a beast.
I think he’ll deliver 2nd round value. At least.
Last season in category leages, on a per-game basis he was ranked around 50 ahead of centers like bam, JJJ, Gobert, Sengun. He avered 18, 10, 3 and 1.5 stocks on 48% and 82%. This season there is going to be no Derozan, this could mean he has statistical increases not to mention no drummond, and no reliable back up. He is also quite durable averaging 77 games a season over the last 3 seasons. However, despite all this most people I speak to seem quite down on him. Why is that?
Hello, everyone. I really enjoy fantasy football and I know that ideal format is: Sleeper, 12 people, 0,5 ppr.
What is the best app and format for fantasy basketball? I tried Sleeper but I hate it. This year we wanna try Yahoo but I’m still not sure at all.
Would appreciate any recommendations. TY
Considering Jalen Greens hot streak last year, I’m wondering if he has the ability to do that through out the szn next year. I see players like Jamal Murray, Wagner, Butler going in the fifth so I’m wondering if it’s around the right spot to pick up or too early
Just wanting to see what everyone is thinking about the later end of the first round picks. In my head Wemby/Jokic/Luka/SGA are a done deal top 4 but then the next four AD/Giannis/Hali/Embiid could all be mixed and matched depending on how people want to risk injuries. I have pick 7 in my league and hoping Giannis will fall to there but if he doesn't what are people's thoughts around AD/Hali/Embiid or anyone else I'm blindly missing?
Curry's an unc now, but seems like a higher calibre player at the same time. Who's the better pick for a H2H points league?
H2H points league, who's the better pick between Trae Young and Jalen Brunson? I was originally leaning Trae and am even more so now with the knicks trade, but wanted more opinions and a general consensus
There was a time when KAT was a legitimate top 5-10 fantasy player, but with the emergence of Ant Edwards and the arrival of Gobert, he'd fallen way down the ranks in Minnesota.
With his move to the Knicks though, I feel like KAT's fantasy value is about to shoot up again. The biggest reason is that he's going back to playing C - this was what he was doing in Minnesota before Gobert, and that's when he had his best fantasy years. Moving to PF really impacted his rebounds and block numbers, which were 10+ and 1+ at one point. Playing C again should help his board and block numbers rise
I think Brunson also makes a very nice complementary player for KAT to play with, moreso than Ant. The Brunson/KAT 2-man game works really well on paper, which should result in some looks for KAT.
Given how thin the Knicks are in general, KAT will also likely play some pretty big minutes (this was always going to be the case regardless cause Thibs), which should help with some extra stats. Mikal and OG (and Hart if he starts) are not big usage players so the bulk of the shots should be going to Brunson and KAT.
He's become a bit of an injury risk in recent years, it's true, but I still feel like with this move, KAT can put up top 20 numbers.
Thoughts?

Sadly,he is made of glass and seems people already forget him
In a 10 team h2h league this year, I have it on good authority number 1 pick will be wemby, whats everyone’s top 10s this year? (1st pick is a spurs fan)
Assume in standard 12 team 9 cat
His ADP is around 100 now,I think it's a little bit low even he out until December.
As of now he’s healthy. He finally has a good playmaker in Dejounte that could make a crazy pick and roll game. The spacing is wonky but a small ball lineup of Dejounte, CJ, Ingram, Trey Murphy and Zion could prove to be an offensive juggernaut. And possibly even see an increase in his defensive stats. Obviously this might not be the starting line up but this will definitely be an option we can see for 10 minutes a night.
I’m not saying he breaks out as a 1st round player this year, but could we finally see the next step in him we’ve been waiting for since that promising Sophomore year?
Thoughts?

#Remember, if you want accurate/meaningful feedback, you need to include the following:
Points or categories
If points league, what platform? Each platform has a different default scoring format
Any non-standard scoring for either of those.
How many teams in your league
Head to head or Roto
Dynasty or keeper or yearly redraft
Example: "12t 9cat h2h redraft" or "10t ESPN pts h2h dynasty"

I have struggled with this all off-season. What is the best way to do waivers so you're not checking them every day and FAAB still means something? Any suggestions?
I’m hearing so much on Dyson daniels being a core part of this team this year. Great defensive player and can pass, but worried about his shooting though (and by extension his ability to constantly score). Jalen smith whenever he got minutes filled up the stat sheet pretty nicely on Indiana. What are your guys thoughts on these two players, who would you prefer?
My 16-team H2H points league draft is coming up. Who would you rank as the two best players from this group? I find myself going back and forth on all of these players due to age, usage, or injury concerns. Projections are from hashtag with my league’s scoring.
Harden: 34.7 projected FFPG (28.8 LY)
Kyrie: 34.7 projected FFPG (35.8 LY)
Lamelo: 34.3 projected FPPG (33.4 LY)
Dame: 33.1 projected FFPG (32.9 LY)
Steph: 33.0 projected FFPG (32.6 LY)
Maxey: 32.5 projected FFPG (35.4 LY)
There's been a lot of centres left on the board in my shallow leagues this year. I think it's hard to separate a lot of them. How would you rank the following:
Valanciunas Lopez Nurkic Kessler Capela Poeltl Williams Hartenstein Zubac
Looks like a good chunk of big men are in round 5. How would you order them in 9CAT?
Do you agree with the rating of yahoo?
46 - Myles Turner (IND - C)
50 - Zion Williamson (NOP - PF,C)
52 - Jalen Duren (DET - C)
53 - Rudy Gobert (MIN - C)
56 - Jarrett Allen (CLE - C)
57 - Deandre Ayton (POR - C)
62 - Nikola Vučević (CHI - PF,C)
Which one you choosing? Had both last year and I think vanvleet outperformed murray
Both in iffy situations. Who has more upside?
Honestly I’m lost on who should be in for a better season but I feel like it’ll be Derrick lively would love to hear your views on it
Is it smart or stupid to take both Wemby & Chet 1 & 2nd in a 10T? I've got 2nd pick (and 19th pick) so both realistically may fall to me. The 3rd pick at 22 can be a guard like Lamelo, Lillard or Brunson to set a foundation for assists and 3s.
Edit: This is for standard 9CAT on yahoo
I'm in a 14team 9-cat league and draft's this Saturday - I got the 2nd pick. I've been in mocks having my 3rd round pick choosing between Maxey and FVV (and also Sengun).
Who should I choose? I feel like it's too early for FVV
I'm starting up a games cap ROTO league, and am going the route of a lot of positional flexibility by having the starting positions be simply G, G, G, F, F, F, C, Util, Util, Util.
The question I have is how should I manage the bench and IL spots?
Is it better to have no IL and just have extended benches?
How many bench spots would be okay? Do we still aim for around 156 players drafted, or more like 180?
Hi guys, I got the 6 pick in our draft this year (h2h espn points format) and I really confused whether to take Davis or Embiid. I think Embiid have more upside and both of them played more or the same number of games in the last 5 seasons. Any thought? Thanks!
Had a question regarding rankings. I’m playing on Yahoo, and I wanted to understand all these different rankings to get a better idea of what they mean and how I should interpret them.
Yahoo X rank vs Projected rank. When I draft a player, yahoo has an X rank which I understand is their way of projecting the player’s ranking. Is it the same as their “proj rank” in the app when I view all players in my league?
Secondly, Steph Curry has a Season Rank of 13 in my league. His rank remains 13 when I sort players by Last Season Average. But it changes to 16 when I sort players by Last Season Total. Is Season Rank always the same as Last Season Average Rank? And if so, how come he is rank 13 in my league, but everyone else says he fell out of the top 20 in standard leagues?
I’m sure this question has been asked a million times before but I’d love some clarity on these numbers!
