It doesn't mean that this player didn't perform well, it just means that some players had a more balanced performance than them. As stated before, we directly use Basketball Monster's rankings which calculates value based on a 9cat system.

NBA Cup - Week 7 & Week 8 Impact
The Week 7 scoring period will run from December 2 to December 15 (two weeks).
The NBA will hold the championship game on December 17, but it won't factor into the Week 8 fantasy scoring period.
After the championship game concludes, the Week 8 scoring period will run from Thursday, December 19 through Sunday, December 22.

Kuminga career outlook
How big of a role do you see Kuminga playing for the rest of the season and beyond?
I’m in a dynasty league and have an offer involving him (won’t go into specifics). Is this a good time to buy low?
IMO without having followed his career super closely, I don’t see him reaching his full potential until either a) Golden State go into full rebuild mode, or b) he gets traded/resigns with a new team where he sees greater production (i.e Brooklyn).

Jalen "Box of Chocolates" Duren
Why you ask? Well, you never know what you're going to get with this dude...other than 2 personal fouls in the first Q lol...
I, like many, was fascinated by the physical specimen that is Mr. Duren ... he's like the Braelon Allen of the NBA or something...plus Duren has a great name, perfectly balanced phonetically...
He broke out late his rookie year, then started stupid hot his sophomore year, before tapering off, but still producing very solid lines ... basically a double double nightly with almost 80% FTs...the only knock to this point was his weak ankles...maybe those haven't developed at the same rate of his upper body yet...
So ... entering his junior year, what's going on with our boy? I understand Beef Stew is a pyscho and does what is asked but come on, no way he has the raw upside of Duren in a vacuum...
12 GD minutes today is hilarious ... why does he have the shortest leash meanwhile Cade gets to chuck all night no matter what?
Should we blame the coach? Bickerstaff isn't exactly anything special ... should we blame Angel Reese? Should we blame Duren himself for just not having the motivation to perform? I understand his defense needs work but he can randomly dominate on that end too (see game vs Indy)... IDK
Need some Pistons fans to chime in on the curious case of Mr. Duren...

The Charlotte Hornets are signing guard Isaiah Wong to a two-way NBA deal from the G League's Salt Lake City Stars, agent Darrell Comer of Tandem told ESPN. Hornets are adding depth amid injuries. Wong, a former second-rounder, has averaged 24.1 points in G League this season.

I picked up Brogdon of the waivers and he has surprisingly been doing great after his first 2 games. Where do you guys see his outlook ROS and do you think his current production is sustainable?
I know there is always a chance of moving him on the deadline, injuries, and the high chance of the Wizards tanking during fantasy playoffs.🤣

Kevin Huerter (ankle) did not practice today with Kings in Sacramento. He’s likely to be doubtful for Sunday vs. San Antonio. DeMar DeRozan (back) was a full participant at today’s practice and depending how he feels, is likely to be probable for Sunday.

Andre Drummond went down with what looked like a non-contact injury and grabbed at the back of his right foot. He was unable to put any weight on that right leg and had to be helped to the locker room.

Charolette’s next man up
We got the highest usage player Lamelo ball sidelined and his handcuff (Tre Mann) officially out for 2+ weeks unfortunately. This is a fun opportunity to find that next man up.
We got some options to choose from such as Micic, Green, Salaun and Cody Martin. Last game was a decent sample of how the usage might be distributed. Nobody else over 30 min cracked 20%
Miller lead the way with 37min and 38% usage so he will obviously handle a bulk of the on ball opportunities.
But who else gets fantasy value in both 9-cat and Points leagues. Who is the 12 team must roster. Finding the next man up is the most fun part of fantasy so lets hear it.

Do you like Yahoo’s double Player Updates?
If I remember correctly, it started last season? We used to only have 1 writer for Yahoo player updates which now became 2 (Rotoworld and Rotowire). Though it provides more insights, it just looks kind of messy, having 2 different formats/writing styles. Plus the other writer is always later in giving updates. Your thoughts on it?

Shaedon Sharpe or Scoot Henderson: Who’s the Better Pick for FANTASY BASKETBALL?
When considering the Portland Trail Blazers’ young stars for fantasy hoops, Shaedon Sharpe and Scoot Henderson offer intriguing yet contrasting options. Both have high ceilings, but Sharpe’s recent production suggests he may hold better long-term value for fantasy managers.🏀
Sharpe missed the first eight games this season due to a shoulder injury but has since been a revelation. Over his last eight games, he’s averaged 21.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.3 steals, and 2.5 three-pointers in 33 minutes per game. ✅ His health and increased role make it clear that Portland views him as a critical piece of their rebuild.
In the together hand, SCOOT has struggled to find consistency. After showing promise late last season with 16.6 points, 7.1 assists, and 3.5 rebounds post-All-Star break, his second season has been disappointing. So far, he’s averaging 11.3 points and 5.2 assists on inefficient shooting (28.3 percent from three 🤮) and committing 3.2 turnovers per game. While his potential remains high, his fantasy value is currently overshadowed by Sharpe’s steady improvements.
You know we are all about players who can consistently produce, and Sharpe is showing he can be that guy for Portland.
