Why does filip forsberg suck? Usually he’s always amazing it’s just injuries. I can’t stand seeing nothing from him every night
I think it’s safe to say he’s been a fantasy bust he’s just not putting up goals or assists like we thought and not even getting much blocked shots and hits. He’s almost useless in points leagues I would think many of us are considering replacing him with spurgeon at this point.
I joined a paid league earlier this year and went in without asking categories first (probably a mistake). Once I joined I was surprised to see they're using shooting % instead of a goals category. I don't like categories that can fluctuate wildly from week to week, and since it's a proxy for goals, I don't get why you wouldn't just take goals instead of a stat that seems far more luck based
I want to bring it up to the Comish at the end of the year because I probably won't rejoin this league if it keeps this stat (along with +/- and PIMS), but I wanted to put it here first to see if there's something I might be missing. Is there any value in using shooting % as a stat? and roughly how common s it? This is my first time seeing it in 5 years of fantasy playing.
Thanks in advance yall.
Haven’t fact checked per say but I’ve seen at least 3 goals being overturned for goaltending interference (most very limited calls imo) in the past 2 weeks and that infamous OWN goal called his assist to Mcmicheal recently. Anyone else seeing this ? Bad luck John
Kent Johnson has been playing RW aside Fantilli, leading me to pick him up over other C-only’s, as that position has an abundance of good players this year. Any other potentially rosterable players like this that are expected to gain LW or RW? Other lists I’ve seen are outdated.

So I’ll highlight this that my brother is stupid but also much younger than everyone else in the league (14 everyone else 20-21) he accidentally dropped hagel. Shit happens I guess idk. But than someone else accidentally dropped trochek and the commissioner immediately stepped in when it was accidental. I got pretty pissed off and complained and the commissioner immediately told me I was in the wrong. Would this be collusion?

Anything Goes!
Inspired by the Olivier post.
This guy has 4-3-7 in his last 6 games and is #1 PP and first line on a line with huge chemistry with Marchenko and Monahan. The PP is clicking too with Werenski being a beast and Kent Johnson back and looking amazing. Last two games he's had 18+ minutes and 4+ PP minutes.
I really dislike players on weaker teams but recent results here are undeniable and YTD stats are still weak enough (he was coming back from an injury) to the point that he is available in leagues. Last year he was about a hit per game and two shots per game - hits aren't there yet this year, probably also because of the injury.
I see scenarios where this is a hot streak and it doesn't last but I also see scenarios where this momentum continues and he's a really legit fantasy guy rest of season, either way, I think he's worth taking a chance on right now.
(I dropped Byfield to add him, I believe so much in Byfield but he just isn't getting anywhere near the opportunity or more importantly results).

I've been keeping an eye on him in my league , could this be a good year for him? Thoughts ?
Hey guys,
Can someone help me figure out why the heck I’m not receiving any push notifications related to my fantasy teams on Yahoo?! I went in and checked and they are turned on within the app and everything is toggled on with each of my two teams.
Ideally, I would like to be getting notifications on if my goalies will be starting or if a player is injured or returning.
Also, I use an iPhone.
Thanks in advance!
Seems like they have absolutely dismantled many teams like 7-_ this year like LA and Detroit etc…
Idk, nowadays they seem like a bait game. I’m close to sitting the boys when they head to the SAP… Wondering how y’all feel
First year fantasy user here, sorry if this is a dumb topic.
I stumbled upon a fantasy football thread that suggested a league median scoring system should be the proper way to go. The way it works is every week, 2 wins can be awarded instead of 1. You get a win for winning your H2H matchup like usual, but then you get another win if you finished in the top half of fantasy points in your league that week.
I feel like it's a great balance for when your team performs well but you lose to the best team of the week, similarly it "punishes" a team that only narrowly beat the worst team of the week.
Couldn't find any threads talking about this in fantasy hockey, is it a thing? Has it been discussed before and how come it isn't more popular?
He’s had a slow start to the year but he’s injured now and is available in my league (standard points, 9 F, 5D, 1 Util, 5 bench). I’m considering picking him up and placing on my IR until his return but I’m curious what the consensus is on him as a fantasy player.

Probably my favourite waiver pickup this season just delivered a masterclass! Pump up the bass, get out the finest IKEA plates and and all hail Prince Filip!
Don't think this guy has been brought up much, currently kind of killing it as a streaming/deep option in banger leagues.
Low minutes, seems to put up points still somehow on top of periphs. Seems invisible, worth grabbing for busy columbus weeks I wonder?
