I'm putting together an article about good email marketing techniques and I'm looking for examples of fantastic email campaigns from the past year. If you've received any promotional emails that made an impression on you, I'd love to hear about them.
As the title says, I have an email database of 3k emails from companies in my niche market in my country. I want to try email marketing and have some questions:
-should I email it all at once, or divide it into smaller groups and try different campaigns in which I try different texts images, and calls to action? -what’s the best tool to create the campaign? I am currently looking at MailChimp
This is my first time doing this kind of marketing so I’m kind of lost.
We do workwear uniforms and promotional clothing (screen printing and embroidery).
Hello everyone, our agency has built the website AdresseDirekt.de
There we offer daily updated, industry-specific address lists. The lists are updated daily by our crawler system and the sale takes place automatically. The customer receives the list in Excel and CSV format. In order to receive feedback from email marketing specialists, we are looking for testers to evaluate our project. As a tester you should be able to speak German (German website) and have experience with email marketing.
We provide each tester with a voucher code for a one-time free download of an address list. Afterwards, we will be happy to receive feedback on the purchase experience.
Please feel free to ask questions at any time.
Hey all, just wanted to let you all know that I started my new site for email marketing, now to start getting customers. Does anyone out there have any good ideas on how to get customers? Or just want to give feedback on current site. Let me know.
Hi, this is the first time im using mailreef, and wondering if i send a bunch of emails (100s of thousands), will my email be placed on a spam list?
Hello- I'm getting started with my newsletter and I'm trying a couple different avenues for getting subscribers. I set up an Instagram page related to my newsletter topic and have been posting content there and running ads. The newsletter is the bio for the profile. I also just set up a google ads campaign and will start running ads directly to the subscription for my newsletter.
What's your experience been with running ads?
I need an approval tool that has the features of Email on Acid, where you can showcase the email creative/content in multiple browsers/providers to the client, but can also work across social, google, etc to be able to showcase GIFs/Vids.
Any tools you all know that support this? Bonus points if it has a Content Calendar function :)
Good Afternoon,
Looking for some tips to improve click rates (see attached image). I have read a ton of online articles and have done some A/B testing, but since this summer when that bot issue was inflating click rates, our rates have been significantly low. We used to easily get above 2% and now barely half a percent.
I've experimented with send times, button shapes/colors/positions, CTAs, email formats, etc. Nothing seems to gain improvement. And its beyond frustrating because our open rates are very healthy.
Anything I might be missing? Anything else worth a try?
Appreciate the help!
Not trying to self advertise just trying to build some traction

I'm a touring comedian and I use my lists super infrequently just to sell tickets. Overall 7K subscribers but I’ll send just probably around 10 - 20 location specific blasts/year to anywhere from 20 - 200 contacts depending upon my audience in the city I’m touring. And then around 5 times a year I'll send my New York City email blast which has just over 5K people on it.
I’m an OG Mailchimp guy but so sick of paying a huge monthly fee to store contacts that I am seldom using, can someone please recommend the most friendly pricing structure for my situation? THANK YOU I AM OVERWHELMED haha
If you have any leads on how I can get one please help! Bitnet UK email!
I’m looking for a reliable and affordable email marketing platform with great deliverability rates for my campaigns. My priority is ensuring emails land in the primary inbox rather than spam. I’ve used platforms like SendGrid and AWS SES, but I’m open to exploring others like ActiveCampaign, MailChimp, or even newer options.
Does anyone have experience comparing their delivery rates? How much does IP reputation or dedicated IPs play a role? Would love to hear your thoughts and recommendations!”
I'm curious if anyone has any experience or recommendations for an enterprise-level email marketing tool fit for the financial industry.
Braze and Acoustic look promising, but I'm curious if anyone here can share their experiences.
Thank you!
I don't enjoy it, I'm not good at it, and it doesn't produce any significant results for me. I have been thinking more and more about getting someone to help me who actually enjoys this. I worked with an agency a while ago, and what a waste of money that was. Since then I have been too scared to outsource this again.
Any tips on what to look for when hiring a freelancer or an agency?
I just want to not worry about emails anymore. Any help is appreciated.
Hi guys,
My church is planning to put out a new website next week. We've already purchased a Domain name and set up hosting for the website.
I was wondering if we could get a custom email address to go along with the website for free. We won't be needing much out of the account, it's mainly for visitors to contact us if they are planning to visit us, and we are a relatively small church in a big christian community, so the requirements for an account with a massive hosting capability is not necessary.
I've found some "free" options, but I'm not sure if they are truly custom, and how secure they are.
Any help would by appreciated...
A few months ago, I decided to dive into email marketing, and I’m happy to say I’m starting to get the hang of it! As I continue learning and aim to become more proficient, one area I really want to improve is communication with clients.
how do you guys approach it? Do you send updates daily or weekly? Do you share drafts of email copy and designs with clients before scheduling them? I’d love to hear your thoughts or tips! :) xx thanks a lot everyone
i do a sell digital product related to wedding planning and i have around 4k+ emails from it. I don't send any newsletter or promotional emails. I don't know what to do with this email or how to monetize it. can anyone help me please?
I'm not trying to sell a course or a spammer you can check my shop and see the sales count.
My current workflow is copy emails, paste them all into "BCC". Of course, this isn't super safe since the chance is high that I accidentally paste them into "CC" or "To".
Is there a better/safer workflow to send communications?
Thanks!
We send out newsletters and promos to a list of around 10,000 people every week, most of them old customers or subscribers. Nothing shady or forced. But now we're seeing a pretty big drop in open rates and more bounced emails than ever, and I think it's because some email addresses on the list are outdated or invalid, not because we're blacklisted or anything like that (I hope). So, I'd like to fix this as "subtlely" as I can without damaging the list any further.
We've been using this email verification tool since we started, since it was very cheap for the things it can do, and I'm trying to make it clean the list. It does remove invalid addresses all the time, and I hope this can also reduce bounces even more, but for now, I feel like I'm not using it correctly. How often should we be using it so that we don't risk removing live subscribers?
Like, should I run the email checker before every new email/newsletter or just once a month? And do I need to use something on top of it, maybe something more advanced?
Hello,
I'm with a small business in the UK that does football classes for kids, our domain is wholeheart.football (george@, 30 days old) and we have the emails of about 20 parents who have expressed genuine interest with us in person.
I'm managing the google workspace / euk hosting / domain registrar. We've sent out around 20-30 emails from this account, and have been landing in spam and continue to do so with Yahoo and Microsoft. Many of these emails contained somewhat spammy language & some links. Our DNS records (dmarc, dkim, spf) are in check with Google Workspace and our Share Hosting as much as possible. I've heard about email warm up, including an unsubscribe link, and reducing spammy words and including no links and such.
We just want a break from this problem so we can reliably get through to the parents that want to hear from us, and transition to WhatsApp / texting which is so much more reliable. We're not sending mass marketing emails at all.
Maybe sys admins here have some good experience with this? We want to send out in the next couple of days.
Just wondering if I should be purchasing another domain for email verification on my site, or for contacting creators. My initial thought is verifying hundreds of emails (sending hundreds of emails a day) would cause the domain to get flagged as spam, even if I have different inboxes verification@example creators@example, etc. What is everyone's feedback on this? It seems all the large companies use the same domain, but I'm quite confident they have their own email infra, I'm looking to just use google workspace.
Built up quite a lot of emails 1000+ and hundreds of abandoned checkouts I have a basic email flow setup that only worked once . I have the structure setup for you to succeed I have a bunch of quality products and repeat customers . Looking to really lock in on this.
I’m a professional email marketer with no design background, creating emails daily and sending millions of them every month. Over time, I’ve found a handful of tools and resources that genuinely make my life easier. If you’re in the same boat, here are six that I swear by.
Drag-and-drop and easy ESP exports. Straightforward and pretty solid.
stripo.email
Yeah, we use both and they’re pretty similar. I like this better though. Any of them is better than most built in editors from ESPs around there.
beefree.io
This site has saved me from creative block more times than I can count. Curated email designs across industries and categories. A must-bookmark.
reallygoodemails.com
Perfect when I need to work on sequences instead of single email campaigns. I use it for reverse-engineering great email flows. Welcome flows, webinars, abandoned carts—you’ll find it here.
sendgoodemails.com
Not quite as good as Really Good Emails and focused exclusively on e-commerce now, but sometimes you need a second or third option.
milled.com
Email on Acid’s blog is packed with step-by-step tutorials on everything from button design to accessibility.
emailonacid.com
These are the resources I genuinely use to get emails out the door faster. Got any favorites?
I have around 40k customer emails that we have collected over the last 8 years or so of business. We sell a physical product that the customer has to fill out a physical form with thier name/email address etc. we then email the customer a report.
I saved these over the years with the intent to market to this list.
I contacted a couple email marketing firms and one of them told me this would be against some rules. But the others have told me this is a gray area and that they don’t see an issue.
I am not sure who to trust.
Am I ok to use this list?
If not is there anything creative I could use it for? Someone mentioned I could use it to create a lookalike audience on Facebook and then have the people from Facebook opt in.Basically creating a new list that mimics the one I have.
Any help would be appreciated.
Has anyone else noticed a big drop in opens and clicks in the last three months on Kit? I’m considering Sendy or a similar email service on appsumo because at this point I am just not reaching the 30k subscribers I have with these stats.
Does anyone know how to use Amazon SES? I’m new to all this and have always used ESPs like kit.
Hi guys,
I’ve got my own B2B blank clothing business. I provide blank hoodies, t shirts, etc to printers/embroiderers/uniform companies and small fashion labels in Australia. Now, after running a few leads generating ads I did manage to get a few leads of people around ~150-200. Previously I’ve been emailing them manually, but it’s neither aesthetically pleasing nor on time enough. I’d like to semi automate the Welcome journey (Introduction), give them information about our company/ product lines etc. So what software do you guys recommend for such a business (cost effective please)! Lastly, would appreciate if you can tell me more ways to generate leads in my target segment niche.
This will be my first email drip campaign for a tool I'm launching. Would you do it now thinking some people will still check emails or wait til the new year?
