For some time I thought it was Kissin' Cousins just because it's a wierd song and overall the rhythm, lyrics, and melodies are bad, but then heard Confidence and I think it's worse, for kind of the same reasons Kissin' Cousins is bad, but in this song you can listen to Elvis just lose his own confidence and it's just bored and wants to get the song over with as fast as possible.
Picked this bust lamp off of a guy from Facebook. Was so shocked it has just about no cracking a few minor chips but overall it’s amazing and is a great Addition to my ever expanding Elvis collection. :)
My mom got me these melmac plates as a gift and I’ve been eating off of them but she warned me they might have lead in them. I can’t find anything online but man what does a girl have to do to eat pizza off of this guy? Are these plates filled with lead? Or are they safe? Please help!
Good afternoon! I’m visiting Graceland for the second time this weekend. My first trip was August 2022 and I did the Ultimate VIP Tour, and we got to hold one of his belts. We are doing the Christmas UVIP tour this weekend, and was curious if this was also part of this tour?
Thanks in advance!
Elvis is wearing the Blue Pinwheel jumpsuit, it would be the only time the suit was worn on stage. The suit is often mistaken for the Aztec Star due to the similarities in design and colour.
In my opinion Elvis'' very best album, what's your favorite song on it?
My grandmother (who was my favorite person) was a HUGE Elvis fan. When I was little I loved staying the night with her and watching Elvis movies and going through her collection when she'd let me. When she passed away her Elvis collection was given to me and it has such neat stuff in it. I particularly love flipping through the old fan club news letters. In the different club newsletters most had a section where people would write about Elvis items they were wanting or selling. Is there anything out there like there was in the 70's and 80's? Yes I know there's eBay, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace...ect, to hunt down things. But what I was wondering is there anything like there was in the past for the Elvis Fan community where we can communicate amongst each other and talk about items we are wanting to buy or are willing to sell or trade from our personal collections. A place where people actually love and appreciate Elvis, where we can help each other expand or complete our collections. I was just curious what was out there for us Elvis fans ⚡️TCB⚡️
I’m honestly like a little kid who just wants to open it and listen. Should I enjoy it or save it?
don't know the name of this song or who sung it ? starts off with dear Santa my name is lisa Marie? goes in to sing about missing him?
Yes it’s Elvis… kinda. You can find a small hint in the plaque
I am proud to share the finished drawing collage Elvis from the '69 Press Conference and the '68 Come Back Special 🤩🖌️👑🩵✨ These turned out so surprisingly well, that I almost can't believe it 😀
When you get some postcards as one inevitably will do, there is a Post Office a mile down the road you can mail from to your home and have it stamped with the 38116 postmark. Same zip as Graceland. You're welcome.
Took the family to Graceland on Tuesday and we loved. But my big question is: what version of burning love do they play in the pre show film? It’s heavy and groovy and I love it. It’s not the original, the Hawaii special or any older version that I know of so far. Any hints?
I'm not loaded by any account.
I like the idea of buying the new Making of King Creole FTD box set jobba. It's 200£.
I'd be scared to open it which pisses me off. Because I've seen the MSG book sold for over a grand.
What makes an Ftd release worth so much?
Is the King Creole limited in numbers? Should I worry about opening it if I buy it.
Should I be concerned at all and just buy it cause it's my favourite Elvis movie?
I have read and heard in documentaries that Elvis never liked being called "The King." Now the reasoning as to why seems to be centered on how he considered Fats Domino "the real King of Rock 'n' Roll" (as apparently documented by telling a fan in 1969) and I saw in a religious documentary, he would tell fans that "Jesus Christ is the King."
So should we respect the man and his wishes not to be called the King? What is everyone else's thoughts on this topic?
