I’m 18 yrs old and just started taking mk-677 this week with 4 of my friends. However I heard it can be hard on the liver, and me and my friends already drink every night after the gym and get absolutely wasted off Tito’s, jack Daniel’s, captain morgan and whatever else we got. Should I be concerned about my liver?
So basically, 2 weeks ago my right ear was hurting and was slightly muffled a day or two later i got sick.. Right now my sickness is basically gone but my right ear is still slightly muffled but not as bad as it was. Currently im getting random pain and aches in my right ear now off/on.. Im not sure if its healing or not..
i’m currently being tested to figure out what’s been going on w me. i saw a rheumatologist which sent me for testing. It came back with a positive Anti-Nuclear Ab by IFA (RDL) with a high speckled pattern of 1:160 and a high mid body pattern of 1:80. symptoms include extreme fatigue, muscle and joint aching/pain, lower back pain, sciatica, raynaud’s phenomenon, heat intolerance, extreme digestive issues (being looked into by gastrointestinal currently), off the top of my head. however, my rheumo said it’s nothing to worry about but i’ve been looking into it and so many people get diagnosed with these levels so i dont know, does anyone have any idea of something that fits or am i just overthinking it? i’m tired of not feeling normal yk. i also have tons of other bloodwork ive gotten done (routine and such) recently
Hi all, so as the title says, I have gotten these results and havent heard from my doctor back yet so I'm going a little crazy. I'm 31/Female with Hashimotos and hypothyroidism. Also, have gotten my gallbladder removed in Feb of this year. Prior to gallbladder removal, I've had unexplained weight loss(over 20 pounds in less than 6 months), overall fatigue and general feeling like something isn't right. My bilirubin was high before gallbladder removal, but it went higher after and has been going high since and staying high. It was 1.5 Saturday and 3-3.2 a week ago. I have fatigue every day and a hard time sleeping or getting good sleep. My doctor ordered a liver ultrasound as well as some blood tests - my Half brother has Gilberts Syndrome which makes his bilirubin high for no reason, but they needed to run tests to get the actual answer and make sure its that or if something else is really wrong. I also want to mention, I had cholestasis of pregnancy in April 2021 at the very end of it, and they never followed up with my labs after that, didn't even mention it or even seem concerned. Also these labs are not fasting labs, as my doctor told me not to. I was supposed to get them done in the evening time but they closed after my appointment so these are morning numbers after a bowl of cereal and coffee.
Right upper quadrant ultrasound: Minimally prominent common bile duct statistically likely related to
postcholecystectomy state.
Bilirubin fraction:
Bilirubin total: 1.5 (it was just around 3 just a week ago in the hospital so I'm assuming all these numbers were higher then)) range is 0.2-1.3
Bilirubin indirect: 1.2 (normal range is below 1.4)
Bilirubin direct: 0.3 (normal range is below 0.2)
Haptoglobin: 121 (normal range 31-238)
Reticulocyte count: Retic % 2.2 (normal range is 0.4-2.0)
ABS Retic: 0.100 (normal range 0.018-0.1)
LDH: 132 (normal range 135-214)
Vitamin D 25 hydroxy: 32.5 (normal range 31-80)
Iron: 120 (normal range 41-186)
I just dont know what this could be? I just have a feeling that its not just Gilberts syndrome... I've been through complete hell this whole year and haven't felt like myself. Thank you if you read all this!
I never had this before. I cannot really walk, I feel like I am going to fall down. Even when I sit my head is turning. It is really strong. And I have this since the morning and it does not go away or get better. And my throat is so full of thick slime, sorry I know it is disgusting. I am going to see the doctor tomorrow.
I had a very weak cold for 2 weeks or so. Very little sore throat and a little bit of coughing. A few days ago this somehow worsen to the extreme to the point as I feel now. My ears are very little blocked.
What is this dizziness?
I (35F from South America, not pregnant and infertile) have been nauseous 80% of the time since August 2021. Around the same time, I completely lost all my stamina. I used to do kickboxing and lift weights 3x/week, but now I get tired just washing the dishes. Not just normal tired, I get orthostatic hypotension, shortness of breath and really bad cramps in my lower back. I've had numerous tests done, all of which have come back normal:
- ECG & Echocardiogram (ruled out any heart issues)
- Tilt test (ruled out dysautonomia)
- Polysomnography (ruled out sleep apnea)
- Complete blood panel every 6 months (vitamin D and iron are normal, I have hypothyroidism but it's under control and results have always been within the normal range for over 4 years) - the only abnormality has been high cholesterol. When all this started, I was a vegetarian. Now I almost don't eat at all but I'm still overweight (1.65m/5'4" and 72kg/158lb).
A few months ago, I had an endoscopy that showed my stomach was full after 12 hours of fasting. The gastroenterologist suspected gastroparesis, prescribed mosapride (that brough no relief) and ordered a gastric emptying test, which was normal. He asked me to repeat the endoscopy, noting that I should " fast correctly this time" (meaning he didn't believe I had fasted properly the first time). The second endoscopy was normal: no gastritis, H. Pylori, nothing. But my life is shit. I'm nauseous all the time, I have no energy for anything, and I spend way too many hours in bed just breathing it out. I also get constant cramps in my neck and back, my upper arms and lower legs. I can be doing anything, having eaten anything (or nothing at all), and I still feel nauseous and exhausted. Having treatment-resistant depression doesn't help, and several doctors have easily dismissed my symptoms as side effects of antidepressants or just anxiety, even though I've been on several different medications over the last 3+ years. So, am I supposed to just learn to live like this, feeling worse than being french kissed by your grandfather? Nothing (natural or not) relieves my nausea except the occasional ondansetron injection, and that's not always possible. I haven't vomited today because my stomach is still empty after yesterday afternoon I had to hastily get off a cab to throw up my whole lunch on a sidewalk. I'm tired and no doctor has been able to give me any solutions or encouragement. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm not very hopeful that I'll get any replies (I usually don't) but I'm at my wit's end. Thank you in advance.

Is a palpable pea sized groin lymph node even considered swollen ? I would say it’s just under 1cm in length and about half a cm in width , roughly pea sized and non visible. As I’ve seen lots of conflicting info online some saying the size of a pea is just the normal size of lymph nodes ?
It’s been persistent for 4 months now that is not hard and movable
GP and ANP didn’t seem worried but they did ask if I wanted a ultrasound for reassurance ( have health anxiety )
No other symptoms
Hello, I caught some kind illness about a month ago. I was sick in coughing for 3 weeks and lost my voice. My voice has now returned but I still have lingering irritated and sour throat. It's now been around 3 weeks since I stopped coughing. Today I also noticed a lump on one of my tonsils. Is that normal or not?
- Frequent night wake ups
- Difficulty breathing
- Forced sudden exhales
- The back of my rib cage feels like it's pressing on me
- Intolerance to the cold
- Elevated heart beat
- Weakness at times
- Pale skin
Hello. 23 female, 170 tall, 51 kg. No known serious health conditions, diagnosed work health anxiety and chronic migraines.
For the past month I experience something strange.... when I take very deep breath or kinda suck my belly in (sorry for the lame description) I get this pain inside my lower right rib cage like someone stabs me. Happens sometimes when I twist or laugh quickly. The pain/pinching is located towards the lower right close to the breastbone but feels like it's coming from inside and not from the rib itself. It only last couple of seconds and when I chill and breath normally there's no pain. It kinda feel like as if the ribs are pressing on an organ or something.... I don't have any other symptoms, recently got a blood work that was perfect and idk what is causing this. I'm have anxiety and I'm worried about lung cancer or any other cancer that can grow in there... but I'm 23, never smoked and my doctor don't wanna take me in for scans or anything because of that and the lack of other symptoms. Like he completely refused to even consider it and send me home. Also like I said I have no other symptoms. No weight loss, no loss of appetite, no troubled breathing but yet there's this pain. In the past month didn't got worse but didn't got better. Idk if I had it before because I accidentally discovered it while sucking my belly very hard / deep. Does anybody have a clue what can cause this it experienced it before? I am worried it's something serious that I'm missing and it's gonna be to late.... Thankss
So I've been having pain in my right leg focused primarily in the calf (from the knee all the way to the ankle). It's a dull pain that feels like a soreness or tightness with it hurting the most on the front of the ankle. It's a constant pain and makes it very difficult to sleep.
There's also the same pain in my right buttock region just under the lower back that seems to possibly be associated with the leg pain. The reason I feel this way is that the pain leads from there to my knee running along the back of the thigh.
I've had a doctor look at it and she sent me for an MRI to determine what's going on but everything came back clear, so they ruled out sciatica (but I still think it actually could be and am considering a doctor's appointment with a different group).
Ideas?
