Rashes all along body

23 M, 110 lbs, 5'5, just moved to a new area, I work with kids a lot. My sister has eczema, if that helps.

Started having rashes on my chest and butt. I went to the doctor when it spread to my legs, and they said it was ring worm; with the proper creams, it'd stop spreading and go away after a few weeks. It got a lot worse, so I went back to the doctor. They said it might be related to an immune disorder, but I'd need to go to the dermatologist to make sure. I'm out of money and my work won't let me request off, please help me.

I have photos down below, I just need this stuff gone I feel so ugly and it itches. Warning for nsfw content, there's pictures of my butt as well. Thank you for your help.

Could I have a nasal infection? I have a sporadic change in what I smell but it's weird.

So over the past 18 months or so occasionally my smell changes, not my body odor but what I actually smell. I noticed it first after a night out drinking, I don't drink to often and the next day I could smell what I though was the bar I was in.

To me it smelled like old wooden varnished furniture, I could smell it everywhere for days later. I just thought it was a smell in my nose. A few months later my taste changed and certain foods, mainly sauces had a sour/vinegar taste to it, that's now gone.

I then found everytime I drank alcohol, like I said not very often, the smell comes back for days after. I went to a wedding three days ago, was drinking guiness all night and the smell is with me again. It's a slightly changed smell but is simular.

I feel like I smell it more when temperature changes, so if I go by somthing warm the smell gets more intense. I smell it a lot with chemical based products like cleaning products. Today the waterf from the tap smelled like it.

Anywya that's the symptoms it's odd.

TDLR: over the oast 18 months after I drink alcohol I get an odor in my nose that I can smell. It hangs around a few days then disappears. Could it be a nasal infection?

Also I have done plenty of covid tests and all been negative.

Weird pain in the left side of the chest

Hi,

For the last two weeks - maybe even 3 - I have been experiencing a pain in my left chest, and it is not a constant pain. It is not very severe. Sometimes it can spread to my arm and I can also feel a stinging sensation in my back (I have a herniated and flattened neck).

The location of the pain is around my last rib and sometimes behind my breast. It feels like burning or stinging. It was confirmed by the doctor that there are no heart and lung problems. However, do I need to go unit by unit in the hospital (orthopedics, gastroenterology, general surgery) for the remaining possibilities? Have you experienced something like this before?

By the way, I have reflux disease. I am also chronically constipated and the dates when the pain started seem to match the dates when the last constipation lasting 7 days started.

For 3 days I have been taking muscle relaxants regularly and there has been no improvement.

I am waiting for your comments, I do not want to go from hospital to hospital or department to department :( I attached my lung x ray, in case.

Should I be concerned??

Investigation Results Native MRI of the Brain:

Identified a few (at least 5) small demyelinating lesions in the superficial and deep white matter (adjacent to the frontal horns of the lateral ventricles) in both frontal lobes, with nonspecific diffusion restriction. No abnormalities in the optic chiasm, brainstem, or cerebellum. No restriction in diffusion in the cerebral parenchyma, and no intra- or extra-axial masses seen on diffusion-weighted sequences. No signs of hemorrhage on SWI (Susceptibility-Weighted Imaging) sequences. High-resolution sequences of the paranasal sinuses:

The ventricular system, midline structures, and basal cisterns are normal. No significant changes in the cortical/subcortical regions. Mild deviation of the nasal septum to the right. Enlarged middle turbinate (concha bullosa) on the right. Arterial TOF (Time of Flight) sequences:

No significant flow, course, or caliber abnormalities in the vessels of the Circle of Willis or the vertebrobasilar system. Conclusion Findings: A few nonspecific demyelinating lesions in the bilateral frontal white matter.

I also want to add that I am M21 and weight around 83 kgs.

I would also like to add that my symptoms are: Stuttering , saying a word twice, forgetting words, having trouble creating sentences in my mind to speak them, reading comprehension problems, trouble focusing and concentrating on conversations, detachment from the world, constant headaches and face pain and a derealization like feeling.

Any opinion would be appreciated!

Less pain feeling in one face cheek??

I recently had dental work done to my top left section of teeth- just fillings. I was given slightly more numbing because of how painful my cavities felt. Its been about two weeks and everything seems to have gone back to normal except. I cant lean my face into my hand on the side that work was done on. I understand sore but my right side was done as well and didn't cause much soreness after just a week. Whenever I lean my left cheek, it's uncomfortable and gets to me after a minute or two. Also I noticed that my left cheek seems more tender/soft (which is probably normal) But what really got to me was that today I noticed I had less pain receptors on my left than on my right. I pinched really hard on both. My right had a normal reaction but my left just felt dull pressure and maybe a twinge of pain (it was really weird, my body knew something wasn't normal) Is this just a long side effect from having a bit more numbing shots or did something mess up?? Maybe I'm just overreacting.

Period 8 days late, vaginal dryness, moderate to severe cramping

As the title summarizes.

My symptoms: late period (8 days and counting now), vaginal dryness (minimal amount of normal, nonoffensive discharge), on and off pelvic pain/cramping that radiates to lower back and groin area, ranging anywhere between 1 and 8 on the pain scale. Earlier this cycle i had episodes of severe sharp pain in the ovary area which prompted me to get a transvaginal ultrasound. The cramping is actually worse than what I normally have on my period.

Sometimes I have an unusual sensation of fullness in my pelvis/vaginal area (internally not externally - no itch or burn etc)

The only thing that seems to help with the pelvic pain is heat (either hot water bottle or jacuzzi). Co-Codamol doesn't even touch the pain.

I am NOT pregnant - confirmed via urine, blood sample and ultrasound

No significant medical history.

No obvious ovarian cysts found on ultrasound

No systemic symptoms ie. fever, fatigue etc

If anyone has ideas, insight, has had similar issues, please do leave a comment.

My body has never been so out of whack in my life. I am confused, deeply uncomfortable and desperate for answers.

Can anyone help me interpret an ECG?

Recently I got an ECG and it came back clear (just mild sinus tachycardia) I am just kind of curious now as to how to interpret it. I have been reading up on ECGs but I can't find any that look similar and can't figure this out- is the "wonkiness" caused by the leads? Am I looking at two P waves in some of the images? If anyone could help me satisfy my curiosity and help me distinguish the p and t waves that would be great.

(Sorry for any grammar mistakes, English is not my first language)

How likely is it that I have Breast Cancer?

I (27 F) live in the United States and have a family history of cancer. My mom had breast cancer stage 1 at 35 and her mom had breast cancer that resulted in a double mastectomy.

I noticed a lump a few months ago and went to the dr last month. They also felt a lump and scheduled an ultrasound and a mammogram. Both were negative .

He also ordered an MRI with contrast that I did this week. I had an MRI last year that was completely negative.

But this MRI has the following results:

IMPRESSION: Bilateral indeterminate nonmass enhancement. Bilateral MR guided breast biopsies are recommended. BI-RADS Category 4: Suspicious

HISTORY: Patient is 27 years old and is seen for screening,a palpable abnormality in the right breast and high risk screening. Patient states no personal history of breast cancer. Patient states no personal history of other cancers. COMPARISON STUDIES: The present examination has been compared to prior imaging studies dated 10/11/2024 (ultrasound) and 10/11/2024 (mammogram). BREAST MRI: TECHNIQUE: The patient was studied using the dedicated breast coil in the Siemens 1.5 Tesla scanner. Initial axial T1W NFS, STIR imaging was carried out followed by axial T1-weighted GRE imaging both before and after IV administration of <> ml of <>. Subsequently, subtraction imaging and 3-D reconstruction were completed on an independent workstation. An additional 4-minute-high resolution sequence was performed after the first two 1 minute post-contrast sequences. Complex volumetric analysis requiring post processing was performed using a semi-automated software Dynacad, on an independent workstation by the physician, with images created, reviewed, and archived. There is heterogeneous fibroglandular tissue. There is moderate background parenchymal enhancement, which could obscure a small or non-invasive lesion. The background parenchymal enhancement is symmetrical.

In the right lower outer breast, posterior depth, an area of focal nonmass enhancement measures 3.1 x 0.9 x 1.4 cm (series 31202, image 43 and series 8 image 27). In the left central breast, middle depth an area of ductal nonmass enhancement measures 3.4 cm in length (series 8 image 118).”

I am now scheduled for 2 MRI guided biopsies (one for the left and one for the right).

They called me today and it had very somber vibes and I’m just stressing out. Obviously I’ll find out eventually but I really want to know if anyone has had/ seen similar situations and what was the outcome? Thank you!

Physical anxiety, no libido and ED, abdominal pain, MRI images

24M, 180cm (5' 11"), 65kg (144lbs), European/Caucasian, strong physical anxiety, no libido and complete erectile dysfunction, abdominal pain, 2+ years

Hi all, I need some help in identifying the thing inside the blue circled area.

Short version of the post:

Could this thing be related to the intense pain that I have been experiencing for the past couple of months in the same area? Also, is that a cecum part of the large intestine visible in the last photo? If so, is its location normal? (Straight under it is the location of my crotch)

And yes, I am aware of my problematic left kidney, it is a known medical issue.

Details: 24yo male, 180cm, 65kg.

Long version of the post:

For the past 2.5 years I have been battling some bizarre physical and mental symptoms. Most symptoms appeared in the span of around 2 months 2.5 years ago. For a year I have been investigating the possibility that the cause of my symptoms is completely in psychological origin. I have worked with multiple therapists and psychiatrists, tried a bunch of psychiatric medicines, but none of them have helped me so far, thus, currently I am now exploring a possibility that my symptoms are caused by physical issues inside my body.

My symptoms: very strong chronic physical anxiety, strong brain fog, constant fatigue, loss of psychological energy, loss of power in the muscles, slowed muscle growth. Also I am experiencing complete loss of libido and very strong erectile dysfunction. I have not had a normal erection for the past 2.5 years no matter the circumstances. For the past 3-4 months I started experiencing stronger abdominal pain in the area where the appendix is usually located in people. Been to ER twice for suspected appendicitis. I have felt some discomfort in the same area for 2 years total now. For the past 1-2 months I started experiencing extremely strong, almost constant physical fatigue. I can easily sleep up to 12 hours a day and wake up to still feel tired, it is becoming increasingly hard and sometimes impossible to go outside, go to lectures or simply socialize.

Some possibly related symptoms: for the past 5 years my urine sometimes changes its odor and smells sulfuric. For at least the past 10 years I have had moderate pain in the right side middle section of my spine. (Will do MRI for that in future)

Some of my blood tests that show some deviations from the norm:

  1. 17-OH Progesterone, My Value: 8.0 nmol/L, Normal Range: 0.15 – 4.85 nmol/L
  2. Copper, My Value: 8.99 µmol/L, Normal Range: 10.99 – 21.98 µmol/L
  3. Estradiol (E2), My Value (August 8): 191.0 pmol/L, My Value (March 17): 175.0 pmol/L, Normal Range: 41.4-159 pmol/L
  4. Progesterone, My Value: 2.140 nmol/L, Normal Range: 0.159-0.474 nmol/L
  5. Prolactin (PRL), My Value: 372.0 mIU/L, Normal Range: 86 – 324 mIU/L
  6. Macroprolactin, My Value: 60.0 mIU/L
  7. Prolactin (another lab), My Value: 412.3 mIU/L, Normal Range: 72.66 – 407.4 mIU/L
  8. Folic acid, My Value: 8.78 nmol/L, Normal Range: 8.83-60.8 nmol/L

Also so far I have done an MRI without contrast of my whole brain (not for inspecting pituitary). An MRI scan of my pelvis, MRI scan of my lumbar part of spine and an abdominal CT scan. These all were pretty much clear according to radiologists. I have also had a recent colonoscopy which showed 3-4cm size signs of external pressure in the cecum part of my colon, near the appendix. My adrenal glands were also recently tested for non classical congenital adrenal hyperplasia. (Because of higher 17-OH). The tests were negative for this disease.

In the future I have a planned MRI scan of my whole abdomen, a biopsy for ruling out celiac disease and also a planned visit to a neurologist.

Sorry for the long post and a huge THANK YOU if you decided to read it all. It is my first ever post of this kind, I would never consider asking for strangers on the interned for help, but alas I decided to do so, because I feel like I am simply loosing this battle and will soon run out of any other options. Any input and opinion would be very much welcome.

Thanks in advance, have a great day :)

I rarely have BM (one day every 1-2 weeks) but on my period go 7 days straight

F20, CTD, chiari malformation and other irrelevant background, 145 pounds, 5’9 inches. Only med I take is Concerta (since I was 15) and inhaler.

I have always had some intestinal issues. As a baby I was almost put on a feeding tube bc I vomited everything I ate, I have GERD and also a severe bloating issue. No matter how much or how little I eat I bloat so much that I look 3 months pregnant by night time. So bad that i stopped wearing jeans or fitted shirts bc I will start the day with them loose and end up spillling out of them severely. I also only use the bathroom one day a week up to almost one day every 2 weeks. I say this, but the one or two days I go it’s back to back of my body just emptying and then back to the abdominal pain, chest pain nd swelling. But. On my period I know I’m getting it bc the day before I actually have BM and then the first 4 or 5 days it’s like my body is emptying everything out. And it is insanely painful. Not even uterus cramping. Like it feels like my intestines r trying to push everything out. Like I’m on it rn and used the bathroom 4 times (number two) today. I usually don’t even go this much in one week. And when I was going my upper abdomen was stabbing me and in so much pain. Is this normal? Open to suggestions
