Looking for good PVP games to get into. Something with a decent player base and fairly competitive. There is nothing like DS3 PVP but asking on this sub as souls fans may have moved on to other games that give the same satisfaction. Thx
Is there a mod or custom server fight club that enables online play of either versions of dark souls 1 preferably ptde because I have it on steam.

Needless to say. I want more poise >:)
Feel free to add Senziko on xbox for dark souls 1 shenanigans! :D
I used to approach Souls games with the idea that I needed to complete most of a playthrough before I started to do PvP. Kind of a bummer sometimes and I’d lose interest in a game before I got a PvP character built.
When I first got back into DSR I started out playing with a “20-minute gravelord” - rush the gravelord sword at the beginning of the game then PvP in the burg. It’s fun and silly and it helped me re-learn the basics in a very small subset of the overall game.
It was such a fun way to go I decided to try it in DS2.
With Blue Acolyte making cracked red eye orbs into a tool instead of a consumable, you can start invading pretty much immediately. My approach was to start a warrior, rush to the merchant in the forest of fallen giants, buy two caestuses and start invading at around 2k SM. Not exactly unstoppable but viable enough to screw around with people in the first few soul memory tiers.
Anybody have any tips for this? I feel like there is probably a more viable early game invader that can be built this way than powerstanced caestus.
This was the most fun I've had in a videogame in a long time lmao
Also this was my first time doing 2v2s in the arena! Can't wait to do it again!
Add Senziko on xbox and text me if ya wanna play! :3
password is DS3FC
Nothing fancy here. Just a good old fight club to remember the good days when they were still possible. I don't expect a lot of traffic on this but it would be nice to shake the rust off for those who miss balanced PVP, yeah? Summon Sign, Aldritch Faithful, doesn't matter. Heck, mad spirits are welcome too just for the nostalgia of chaos.

Been enjoying DS3 invasions again, and I decided to throw some Lothric shenanigans into my existing “Tales of an invader” series I started in Elden Ring. Hope you enjoy!

Do you agree that the running RB attack on the scythes and halberds is bugged or has some kind of animation glitch? XD I swear they do on the opponents screen lol
EDIT: I just noticed a lot of people have joined this subreddit :O
Are any of the fine folks in this clip lurking here?

So I’ve been doing some Dark souls remastered pvp lately and was wondering how to use cheat engine or something else to make builds faster? I’m getting a bit tired of constantly running through the game. I’ve looked it up but the only guide I could find was like 8 years old for the ptd edition, so I was wondering how to do it for the remastered version.

This is the best dark souls subreddit and I refuse to believe otherwise <3
So happy dark sauce 1 still pops off but these clips are super old mostly lmao
Take Care! Don't you dare go hollow!
I've been referencing some of these resources like the weapons and armor guides on steam community but just recently stumbled upon this google doc that collates a variety of resources from a collective, though it looks like the primary organizer was u/TheOneLeftFoot. saw that it was posted on main sub and brm but never here and thought it would be of interest.

at first glance I did notice some inconsistencies between its weapon length testing and what I've been referencing, so I'll include that data point here too: https://www.reddit.com/r/darksouls/comments/1smbqy/updated_weapon_attack_range_table/
and then while we're at it I'll also include some testing for weapon speed that I've been referencing too: https://www.reddit.com/r/darksouls/comments/bqk3mn/comprehensive_list_of_attackspersecond/
So me and my buddy started getting back into remaster pvp. Unfortunately there is this player (on pc) whose character goes by Mike. He’s basically plagued all of oolacile with gravelord, he always has a red phantom friend helping him gank, and to make matters worse he’s cheating. He has characters at all different levels as well. Basically no escaping him. Any way we can find a way to report this guy as a group and get him off this game.
What is the best soul level for invasions that isn’t at pontiff or the woods these days? I absolutely loathe Elden ring and kinda want to get back into ds3 pvp.
about how much hp is suggested to survive most unbuffed crystal great club hornet backstabs (and ripostes for that matter)? would a 1650hp chainmom do it?
if I were to go =<sl104 to match with 125 but not 135 (say =<1545 hp) and hopefully reduce my havelmom exposure (assuming greatclub users at least now have to sacrifice 61+ poise), are there any other critical damage tools that could oneshot me?
I guess more simply are there relatively tight ballpark numbers for the hp needed to not be oneshot by common critical damage tools at damage stat soft caps assuming hornet ring but no buffs (inc. power within)?
A fairly frequent question I see on the main sub: "is the PvP in this game still active?"
I can only report my experiences on the Steam version, but maybe others would like to chime in.
I've been active (again) in DSR PvP since August of 2023. If you're wondering, here's what I see:
Low-level
SL1-20 WL5 PvP mostly happens in the Undead Burg and Parish. Generally speaking you can get invasions any time you want in these two zones. Less active, but still notable are the lower part of Darkroot (basically to catch people running from the bottom of Havel's tower) and Lower Undead Burg. You'll encounter the most organic groups at this level.
Gravelords will find steady activity in either the Burg or Parish at this level. You'll attract "anti-twinks" as you will if you invade and even with weapon level restrictions, low-level twinks are fierce if you're playing it straight.
Overall skill level is low here. There are players who know what they're doing at every level bracket but they're the scarcest at low level.
Mid-level
SL30-40 WL10 PvP invasions tend to be a bit slower than low level, but you'll find action in Sen's Fortress, the Depths, and Darkroot Garden. Be careful of Darkroot as a forest invader: endgame players also engage here, so you can end up with some unfriendly matchups due to the wide level range of certain PvP items.
Sen's Fortress is the place for Gravelording at mid level.
Endgame level
SL50-75 WL15 PvP is almost as active as lower level, but more spread out. You'll find players looking for a fight in Anor Londo, Oolacile Township, Painted World. All the Lordvessel areas plus the Catacombs are viable invasion targets. You'll encounter the most gank squads at this level.
Gravelording is frequent in any of the invasion zones and in Darkroot Forest.
You'll encounter good and better than good players in the mix more frequently at this level. Anor Londo gets decently sweaty.
Meta level
SL125-135 WL15 PvP - I've only spent a few hours playing at meta so far, but from what I've seen you can get fights in Oolacile, though it is not as active as endgame level. People use the Burg for dueling but I think that's mostly password stuff. Maybe someone more experienced at meta would like to chime in here. Skill level is the highest at meta level, but there's still a decent number of casual players in the mix.
So im around Sl90 and there is just no one at High Wall Lothric, Pontiff on Profaned.
Am i banned or is everyone just an higher Sl?
I’m on ps5
Let’s goooooo
I cant believe its all so empty, even at Pontiff. Or am i tripping?
So where did everyone go, or is the PvP just dead?
