So, I think James Gunn might be making a mistake in not rebooting the DCU one hundred percent and leaving some elements of the DCEU in them, yes I know he has an attachment to certain actors and such, but like.....it has a label Elseworlds now, use it, Waller and Peacemaker could perfectly be Elseworlds I think and kind of continue the DCEU in a way maybe, I can't see him being able to explain well the fact that Peacemaker "jumps universes", like I know what the character became popular but he is still not a Deadpool, and then the Elsworlds label cannot just be limited to Batman(The Batman, The Batman II) and his villains(Joker, Joker 2), Batman is my favorite hero but as much as I would love a Batman Beyond Live-Action Elseworld or a Scarecrow Horror Movie, I also want to see a live-action Superman:Red Son or a New Frontier someday, I think my fear is that the Elseworlds will just be stuck with Batman.
Anyway, tell me what you think guys,is Gunn doing a mistake or no.

I really liked the art style and the writing for the movies. Sad that they no longer continue that series.
My favorites were:
Dark Apokolips War
Flashpoint Paradox
Constantine City Of Demons
Justice League: Dark
Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay
The scene after the team first fights Steppenwolf. Aquman says "dressed as a bat? I dig it" Then Batman says "this might be temporary" to Gordon. It was in the original trailer before Zack left. In the Synder cut they pretty much put everything in except for that scene. Why? I kinda liked it. Won't say no to more JK Simmons
What movie paints the best picture of how you envision the city?
Also, apparently more than just Peacemaker, Superman, Supergirl and Creature Commandos are finished the script stage:
Having HBO Max, helped me binge watch lots of the DC animated movies. And I loved a lot of them. Was wondering what are some of your favorite animated movies.
So like, What's the deal with DCU's Justice League
James Gunn bring in 4 lesser known Superheroes(Not counting The Engineer) right of the gate, Which is nice. But it make me curious about the structure of his JL.
Like, Is this universe going to start with 20-30 members right of the gate?
Or are these 4 not even a part of JL at all?
Maybe it's a set up for The Terrifics, JLI or JSA?
Or maybe these 4 are part of the main smaller league(Like, 5 members including Superman out of 7-8 person team) while Hal and John for example weren't even a part of the league
While I think it's likely that it will be a big league version, I think such a huge roster might overwhlemed normal audiences. But what do you think?
I like Batman in Batman Begins. I like how he hangs up side down. I like the more organic nature of the suit. I like when he glides down it looks like bat wings. I also like that he wraps himself in the cape. He's BATman in this movie and I am all for it. And those gosh darn posters look so freaking good. Just look at them.
For Example
Suicide Squad (2016) // ‘The Suicide Squad’ (2021)
Wonder Woman (2017) // Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Aquaman (2018) // Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom (2023)
Shazam! (2019) // Shazam!: Fury of the Gods (2023)
Now the Zack Snyder’s Justice League Trilogy was the first but what about more these examples. Wonder Woman 3 was gonna happen, DENIE. Confirmed the last two in 2023 to be the end of DC Extended Universe. Now the hands of DCU is held to James Gunn for rebooting the new universe.
