Arguably the paramount artistic school of the twentieth century; Cubism encompasses the breadth of the visual arts, music, literature, poetry, and architecture. One of the precursors to Abstractism, subjects are analysed, fragmented, and reassembled abstractedly: Instead of depiction from a single perspective, they are delineated via multiple viewpoints in holistic representation. All are encouraged to share and discuss all forms of these arts—including, and especially, their own.

Cubism is a twentieth-century avant-garde art movement, pioneered by, among others, Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque; that revolutionized European painting and sculpture, inspiring related movements in music, literature, and architecture. In Cubist artworks, objects are broken up, analysed, and reassembled in an abstracted form—instead of depicting objects from one viewpoint, the artist depicts the subject from a multitude of viewpoints to represent the subject in a greater context. Often, the surfaces intersect at seemingly random angles, removing a coherent sense of depth. The background and object planes interpenetrate one another to create the shallow ambiguous space, one of Cubism's distinct characteristics.

The Lighthouse in the Storm

In the deep blue of the dark sky, the fury of the winds gives its voice, a hand is raised with fierce zeal, shining in the terrible storm.

The waves roar full of sleeplessness, the storm flares up without mercy, but the light remains clear, shining firmly in the midst of the commotion.

Lantern that guides in the dark night, hope in the shadow, faithful flash, you illuminate the seas with sweetness.

In the midst of chaos, always so beautiful, your light, eternal beacon, never goes out, In the storm you are peace that intoxicates.

Rumba

"Rumba" is a work of art that pays tribute to Pop culture, music, summer and popular festivals. This piece is presented as a CD cover, capturing the festive essence and the characteristic joy of community celebrations.

“Rumba" is not only a work of visual art, but also a symbolic representation of the collective joy and community connection experienced during popular festivals. The choice of bright colors and dynamic composition emphasize the liveliness and energy that these celebrations bring with them.

Famous Harlequin

Famous Harlequin is a symphony of shapes and colors. The treble clef floats in space, like the beginning of a visual score that unfolds on the canvas.

The violin, with its soft curves and resonant wood, is an extension of the human voice, capable of expressing the ineffable. The geometric shapes that make up his body are the components of music: rhythm, melody, harmony. Everything is connected in a dance of light and shadow, form and emptiness, sound and silence.

There is a mix of emotions on the harlequin's face. His eyes appear melancholy, but the brilliance of the color speaks of a burning passion for life.

I have used vibrant colors to invoke the energy of music and carnival life. Each shape and tone is placed with the intention of taking the viewer through a visual experience parallel to the experience of listening to an emotional symphony.

This canvas is my attempt to capture the essence of the music and circus of the early 20th century that so attracted the cubist master.

Hi!

I was surprised there was a cubism Reddit, yay! I have done professional work for mtg using a deco-cubist style. Great to see more people are interested.

Grandma got off her rocker and follows a bulldog to the prairie. A whole olive fills the field and the pit falls between the puppy’s eyesight, slightly falling on the ground. Grandma sees a horses mirror in the distance, whose shadow shone across the trees. 5 dancing small men clambered over the hillside running into a ballet of office pedestrians, a sight for sore eyes! Grandpa left the homestead and sighted the majesty of a twelve course meal awaiting at the party, all attendants performing a jig. A tear ran down his cheek as a faltering heart healed and his breath drew again a feeling of relief. Reintroductions were had, and - all gave sacrifices to the children.

That’s when the bulldog, most famous for the water he drew welled a shout for the people! “A time has come!” the little bully begat. And the people came to a closure, leaving each and every grasshopper to the quiet grounds of green once more.

The fulsome bunch had vanquished the prostrator.

A new image arose.

Welcome to the world I have created.

deconstructed; gouache over acrylic and pastel mixed media

this is an “ai proof” piece wherein the intent was to make something that humans may be able to recognize (especially with context), but LLMs cannot.

Feel free to speculate or review my previous posts if you need assistance identifying this
