Estate Sale, that just recently passed away. But I know nothing about Picasso! I don’t think the Estate Sale Company thought it could be an authentic Picasso Sketch. They never opened up the frame to look at the sketch. They just “Assumed” it’s a Reprint. But, I’m Not Sure….I could tell they never opened up the frame, because when I got home and opened it, the tape on the back of the frame was still sealed. The inside of the clear glass window had remnants of the chalk/ink (or whatever Picasso used to draw the sketch) that “bled” on the inside of the clear glass window that’s part of the picture frame. I can’t post the photos of the Picasso sketch, in this post or even through Reddit chat because they are photos of a “NUDE Picasso Sketch”. And yes, …I keep sayings “it’s a Picasso Sketch” because I TRULY BELIEVE IT IS! If anyone is knowledgeable on PICASSO ART, please message me your email so I can send you the photos of the Picasso Sketch. Any Information is greatly appreciated!!
I heard Dax Shepard talk about this on his podcast - he mentioned seeing a series of paintings where Picasso gradually morphed a Realist image into a Cubist version. He didn’t give the name, but I think he said there were six paintings in the series. Does anyone know the name of the artwork?
Apologies if this goes against the rules. I’ve been trying to find the name of an old artwork that I remember and am 80% sure is a Picasso sketch or study. It was in the line art style, ink or dark graphite, super simple - just a nude standing woman holding up a fish in her right hand. Not Mackerel or Woman With Fish. Super plain, very similar to his later line work animals. I can’t find it anywhere, so any help is much appreciated!!!!
Can someone tell me the name of this piece?
