So, for those who don't know, one way you can buy the film is by buying a download right off the website. For those who have bought it that way, do you know if it's just a video file? And can I burn it to a DVD or blu-ray disc? What is the resolution?
Just finished Cowspiracy last night and now realize just how bad the agribusiness is when it comes to meat and dairy. … What I’m really going to miss is the baby calf nutritional liquid byproduct, aka cheese.
Is not just a substance for one of the companies who make cultivated meat.
It's widely used in research, it's government sanctioned, some of it is actual separate industry, and it's a rights violation and horrific.
In this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5zS_LmDu5w&t=3s I'm adding context to a text that tries to beautify the process in order to sell the product. Give it a watch.
Does anyone know what type of hat he wears?
Hello, we are a group of psychology researchers from the University of Kent, UK. It would be a huge help if any vegans interested would fill out our quick survey (18+ only) about your personal views surrounding your dietary lifestyle choices.

The survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete, and we're happy to answer any queries or questions you may have.
Thanks for your time.
Edit: The survey is now closed! Thanks very much for your time, we'll be sure to post any results here when they're ready!
What did you guys think of it ?
BBC News made an article on accelerated climate change in Canada, and there is a short video about climate change in it. However, the video mentions driving cars, burning fossil fuels, and deforestation. The article itself makes good points.
It's so easy to put the blame on big multinational companies with smoke chimneys and oil spills (don't get me wrong, they're terrible but mostly for different reasons) as opposed to the cute cows in the green fields (or so we think) and a staple of occidental culture: meat. At least they mentioned deforestation, but they didn't mention what it was primarily caused by, which is unfortunate.
I was watching the movie and was astonished by the fishing part saying that they also catched whales, are the nets they use really that big? Do all animals caught face reproduction problems caused by the stress when they were caught?
Hey there,
we recently bought the license to screen Cowspiracy at our university, and after an initial "test screening" last week that was attended by 15 people, we're gonna have a bigger event in December (and more next year) that we want to advertise for, both on the internet (Facebook) and using printed posters.
Now as far as we know we cannot use the original poster of the movie, so we basically have to design our own - unless somebody already has one which is appealing and free for us to use.
So if you know of such a poster for Cowspiracy, or have ideas for its design, please let me know!
Thank you. :)
Just watched the documentary. I get that the cows fed corn that was grown specifically to feed them are using up tons of water and land resources and fossil fuels. But as far as the cows that graze grasslands: Isn't all the carbon in that grass part of the natural carbon cycle? If the cows weren't eating it then wouldn't it be consumed by something else (macro or micro) and have its carbon released, anyway? Other than massive trees that might be buried or massive amounts of algae that sinks and gets buried doesn't everything that grows not really add to the carbon being released because all of the carbon they consume just came from the air anyway? Where am I misunderstanding this?
Edited to add: Other than the fossil fuels used in growing corn/soy how are the American cattle any worse for the environment than the legendary, thunderous, horizon to horizon herds of Buffalo?
