I wish we could get a new command and conquer. There are literally no good RTS games excluding stellaris abd halo wars on Consol. Even if we got remastered Tiberium wars and red alerts. That would be awesome. Also, I don't know what happened to the idea of that game, Tiberium. (the first person/rts game) I remember seeing it on game, informer on the front cover. That was going to be a truly revolutionary game. But EA scrapped it it seems like they've forgotten all about command and conquer. But we haven't. I love the Tiberium universe the most and I miss it.

Can’t find the original user of this sub or their comment, but they shared some scan files which I was able to 3D print and paint up to look like the metal soldiers.

For a context. I am making mod for Red Alert 3. I am trying to make good PvP balance, don't go out from Ra3 style, add more uniqe mechannics and units (not another big freakin flying naval ship with over9000 cannons). I have some players to play with me but all of them is not English speaking. I want to find players that speak english and ready to play PvP.

But I noticed something. A lot of videos on youtube are PvE videos, especially when game played with mods. First I thought that it is because players really love PvE and don't like PvP at all. But then I relized that... There are almost no people playing even multiplayer... Maybe by LAN but not with such services as C&C:Online or Ra3BatteNet.

Why? Is it too hard for English speaking people to just search for "How to play Red Alert 3 online"? And why does it feel like only Russian players ready to try mods in online or even for PvP? Why there are a thousands views on Vanilla Ra3 Youtube videos where some random guy just build a lot of defences and just do nothing entire video, until he gets enough power?

If you're the one who doesn't play PvP or even online then why? I am curios about it.

English is not my native language and I am trying to practice it, with minimising google translator as much as possible. So, sorry for my English.

Description: I found it when bought a non-legal CD with the game and some pack of mods on it.

Among them there was one interesting mod with custom campaign for Soviets (Allied one didn't work).

Mod included some changed mechanics(as remember, GAP generater mech was replaced by stealth mech, just like in TS), some tech buildings(found only NOD pyramid, which gave some unique units. One of them it was smthng like floating disk, but not rotating and with powerful plasma ball gun(like Cyborg Commando). And few tanks with strong armor. Their voicebox looked like robotic one.

From the name I remember something like "Red Alert 2 : Counterstrike". But I'm not sure that it's right title

The very cool individuals who upload them to youtube are allergic to uploading the quotes without background music or linking where they got them from, and the RA2 soundboard which has most of the voice lines in downloadable formats is missing the Prism Tank, which is hte one I need right now.

Trying to run command & conquer generals and getting this come up. I’ve got direct X 12. Processor is AMD Ryzen 5 5500U.

I can run other command and conquer games except this one, which annoyingly, is the one I most wanted to play!

There was a hidden file in the original C&C1, in my memory it was called zsounds.mix, that replaces the weapon/explosion effects with "noises" (like if a kid is playing). Is that included in Remastered aswell? I can't find any info about it and i don't have my original CD's anymore.

I've been playing tib sun and it's opened my eyes to how good Westwood's story telling was and how much EA dropped the ball in terms of the story, so I wanna know what a Westwood CNC game could have looked like
