Hello everybody,

I wanted to contribute to the platform by hosting an cnc net server.

I came across this forum post https://forums.cncnet.org/topic/6325-how-to-host-a-cncnet-server/

However I would like to run this inside a docker container. I tried starting an Ubuntu container an running the tunnel.sh file, however because of the usage of systemctl this will not work properly.

Is someone running the server inside a docker container and willing to help me out? Or are there plans to make this possible in the future?

The game has created great impact which extended beyond its own series. There are many unique features in this game like; fog of war, tech trees and specialized unit roles which have popularized globally. It has countless strategy titles that followed, from Star-Craft to Age of Empires to influence the followers.

Beside its innovative features cultivated a passionate community. The vibrant game mod scene, with new units, maps, and even total conversions that extended the life of the game far beyond its initial release and attract the skilled players from globally.

When I try to launch those games to play the campaigns through the launcher, it works completely fine. The games open correctly, they don't crash with the right renderer...

But the gripe I have is that they always run in full-screen regardless of your settings. Not only it means there's a large resolution drop in the menus, but some of the renderers get a little buggy if you alt-tab out and back.

So, is there a way to have the Campaign open in windowed mode through the launcher, or should I seek another way?

is this thing safe to download im kinda concerned im hella broke and this was my favorite game back in 2015 and theres alot of important stuff here

I don’t know if I’m blind. But I can’t find the Mac version, even though if I look at old screenshots it should be there. So where can I download it? There should be at least an older version or something. Links please?

I was wondering since RA2 has been added to Steam, if it were now possible to install CNCNET onto a MacBook using the game files from Steam. I would appreciate any advice, thank you!!

Iam being banned from cncnet for no apparent reason and no admin to help and no aupport whatsoever

When i was playing, 2 times, it crashed and colapse, the worst thing is that frezeed my OS, and i haved to force the shutdown. Theres no proof because, ¿How can i take a capture being frezeed my OS?!

Hello friends,

I have loved CnCNet for a while but never played the campaign. When I click "Campaign" in the launcher, it shows me RA2 and YR. I click RA2. The EA launcher then pops up with the message "RA2" or "YR". I click RA2. It then says "This game requires permissions, do you want to grant access and launch the game?"

I say yes, but it launches the oldskool 2x2 pixel game.

Client version 8.45.0.

When I click online it just returns to steam.

I got Red Alert 2 and I have CnCnet too, but when i click campaign and i have to choose which one to play i click on one but nothing happens at all. Anything i can do about this?

when i click play online i get this indent not found ...could not look up host name then a while after i get connected normally but i cant see anyservers and it says YR=-1
