Seems like the cable adapter might be safer as far as breakage?

Hello guys, I have a 2007 civic it’s my first car and I want to mod it out I want to start with the body I am thinking about switching to a Type R body kit. Is this possible. If so I would like tips.
Just bought the 2025 civic hybrid and we live in Canada so we need good floor liners to protect floors from salt and snow. Curious if anyone has compared the weathertech to the OEM ones?
We got them to throw in the OEMs when buying the car and we've been using them. But the OEM don't go up as high below the pedals and compared to our last car's weathertech. Is it worth us investing in Weathertech if we already have OEM? It does look like Weathertech Provides better coverage over the 'hump' in the two back seats. TIA
Hello everyone I once again ask for your help in this. My car just hit 9.7k miles and barely a year old the car started having issues today where the turn signal light right side started to not work later today the whole car stared going crazy Alarm going off every so often, the windshield wipers slightly moving like it’s resetting, ABS and steering assist errors and the gage cluster mailing clicking noises. I’ve scheduled an appointment for tomorrow to get it checked out but ive seen and hear that the Honda batteries being bad sometimes so im hoping this is a battery issue. Here’s a brief video of the gage cluster
Is it legal to have one of the police radar detector in your car?
California, Los Angeles
Is it any good? I’m scared of wiring in additional lights but would like to know if anyone has already done it
Sick of the "Road Runner" horn...
Currently in NY where temps are about 34° (likely feels colder out). I started my 1.5L engine civic and immediately went to move it but it wouldn’t accelerate much. I pressed on the gas (not all the way down) and could only hear a whirring noise increase the more I pressed down but the car itself would not accelerate back or forward. Looking for advice as this is my first civic and I never had this issue with my old BMW.
I’m selling my current car so I can get a old civic, I’ve always wanted one. trying too look for a 90s manual is there anything in particular I should look out for or any modifications someone would made I should avoid? Thank you for any comments or advice
I’m looking to see if anyone else has had the same problem as me. So I’m almost done with my K24a2 swap in my ‘05 Civic coupe. I swapped it from auto to manual and I’m on my last steps to getting it started. I’ve installed everything I can think of, but I’m having trouble getting Kpro to get ignition power when I turn the key to run. All wires on connector E are getting the right power where they should and when they should. I have all my grounds and all fuses and relays are good. I’m using the PND A01 ecu from a base rsx and a tucked base rsx engine harness. My fuel pump won’t prime and the green pilot light inside the ecu doesn’t ever come on. Any ideas on something I might’ve missed?
I have a 2005 Honda civic ex coupe (5speed) and I bought it in February, and unfortunately high off of Facebook marketplace (it was my first car, paid $3100 😭) only to learn that I got the mechanic special.
At 206,xxx miles, various reputable opinions have told me that the transmission needs a full replacement ($2500 w new clutch if need be). After inspection, every other major component of this car works just fine. AC, power steering, etc.
I do love this car, and know that when cared for, Hondas should last quite a while. I currently daily this car and Im not too crazy about selling, because I hate buying cars and don't want to go through this again, but I'm not sure what 2,500 - 3,500 will get in todays market.
Should I sell it (for what it's worth) and buy another? Should I buy the neighbors 2001 Mercedes e320 for the same price? Pour the money back into the car? Any and all advice is appreciated.
