Looking to replace lower control arms in the front. From what I’ve seen mevotech is one of the better aftermarket ones? Any opinions would be appreciated!

I bought a new 2024 Mazda 3 in late December last year, so the car is now 4 months old and I have driven it just 600km.

About a week ago the "Service Due Soon" notice appeared in the speedometer window. Yesterday this was changed to "Service Due Now". There is also a "wrench" symbol in the speedometer and tachometer windows.

According to the owner's manual, the first service is due at the sooner of 6 months or 5000km. The car is running fine as far as I can tell. I think the service notice is way too early and is likely caused by some malfunction.

Is the service notice triggered only by time and mileage (not by sensors that detect disorder)? If yes, I am inclined to wait until the 6-month mark before calling the dealer.

I posted a few hours ago asking about weird-looking wiring and insulation under the hood of my 1-month old Gen 4. From the comments and some more research, I'm fairly certain it's rodent damage that was repaired by the dealer and not disclosed before the sale.

Could anyone with a Gen 4 2023 2.5NA share photos of their engine bay and wiring within it? I want to compare to mine to make sure that the exposed wire isn't just normal.

Makes grunting noises when braking and coming to an almost complete stop and it comes from all corners of the vehicle. Is this fixed by a simple strut swap or more a problem with the design?

I suspect a bodge job on a used (but apparently Mazda-approved) Mazda3. Could somebody take a picture of the water feed junction to the window wipers? I have issues of the window wash squirting all over the place through that, and it looks like it's been fixed before.

Is this a know failure point?

I just bought a manual 2014 Mazda 3 i Grand Touring. I was quoted by a mechanic today that my rear suspension was having issues --- specifically, the springs and upper shock mounts are cracked --- the repair was quoted at $1250 USD. This seems rather pricey for those two things. Does anyone have thoughts?

Hey yall, currently I have a 2018 MX5 RF and I am starting to think I want more space in a Mazda. I still want something a little sporty and I love the hatchback turbo AWD premium plus configuration. I haven’t driven one yet but every time I am browsing, I see A LOT of 2021s. Hi everyone, As the title suggests I’m having a problem with the ghost touch on my 2016 Mazda 3. I took it to the Mazda dealership by me and they said it would be almost $800 for a new system and there’s no way I was paying that. Is there any way I can either turn off touch on the display or even fix the problem myself for cheaper? The car is only worth $6,000 according to multiple sources and I just don’t want to spend a ton of money on fixing that one problem. Any advice you guys have would be fantastic!

Looking at getting a longer extended spoiler for my 21 hatchback. Been looking online and see a lot of options out there. Would like to hear from anyone who’s had one installed, and if there were any issues fitting and after. In particular wondering of drive thru car washes are still safe to do. Photos and details would be very welcome!

My clutch feels really soft compared to other manuals I’ve driven and I want to know if all Mazda 3’s are just like that or if maybe something needs to be replaced, there is no slipping just a really soft feeling clutch with nearly no resistance to it.

After suffering another flat plus potentially a bent rim on the cross bronx over the weekend I'm done with my 18 inch rims.

Someone please suggest a durable yet stylish 16 inch wheel for me to purchase. I've I don't really understand the wheel and tire sizes. I just need something that's going to fit a 2018 Mazda 3 Grand Touring Hatchback.

Ideally it can withstand New York potholes, look nice and last me the duration of this vehicle.

2011 Mazda 3, 150,000 miles. I can't stop joyriding around it. Every night after work I want to drive for hours. Spending too much on gas, putting miles on the car like crazy. It never gives me any issues which encourages my bad habits. I tell myself a car is meant to be driven...

Hi, i have mazda 3 2008 sedan and i wanted to clean my throttle position sensor. I sprayed the spray while its on the car and i read online that its a good idea to clean the MAF also.

In a moment of confusion i disconnected the TPS instead. Shit.

I couldnt get it back to position with the bolts and everytime i tried to start the engine the car run for a minute and then turn off. This was when the platic tube that sits on the throttle sensor were not on it. I couldnt find the tps position to put, only one position where the other side of the throttle string is loose and i thought it shouldnt be like that.

Then i put all the plastics back and disconnected the tps completly. I start the car and its running but with somehow sweet burning smell and white smoke from the exaust. I turn it off.

Is there something i can do for at least not order a tow truck to the garage or i should give up? Thanks.

One tuner told me that you shouldn't remove software limits from g120 engines because they failed quality control for g165 engines, so despite being the exact same design that you shouldn't remap them. Is this correct? Has anyone had any bad experiences remaping g120 engines? Thanks

Question for you guys, my rear windshield wiper blade has gone to sh!t and I was just wondering can I use any kind of wiper blade (obvi same size)? Thanks!

And do we need to replace it when replacing clutch?
