This might be a dumb question but are there any larger aftermarket side mirrors. Test drove a 3 and a 30 and the only thing I didn’t like on the car was the limited visibility. Just too small. Anybody know if there’s a larger aftermarket mirror?
2012 Mazda 3 s touring
It’s a manual, is it a good car as a commuter/grocery getter. Carfax shows regular oil changes and it did 120k miles
Is there any repairs I should look out for? It did get its serpentine belt replaced
Anyone switch to winter tires on their 2025 Mazda 3 and having TPMS reset issues? The dealer keeps saying to drive the car it's beginning to get annoying (the error message)
There is no TPMS reset button in vehicle.
I drive a 2020 4th gen Mazda3, which I brought used only a few months ago with 18k miles on the clock.
The gear shifter use to feel buttery smooth. I was able to basically flick the shifter into gear with the lightest touch.
However now there's a slight crunch when moving between gears. It happens inbetween every single shift. This is all when I have the clutch pedal fully depressed and I'm sliding the gear shifter from one position to the next.
I can always get it into gear. But it use to be smooth when moving from one gear position to another. I could've probably shifted from 1st to 2nd, or from 3rd to 4th with my pinky! Now have to push it in and I can feel a slight crunch...
A friend said it might be the synchromesh, but he also thought that it would only happen in some gears where this exists?
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
I just bought a GT and I assumed that the Bose speakers were a standard option but I just want to make sure. Not much I can do about it now that I've already purchased it, but I'm just curious. Thank you. If it matters, I'm in Canada
So there’s a couple that give an OE look and I’m wondering if anyone has any insight or experience with these. TIA!
What appearance modifications should i do to my 2007 mazda3 hatchback?
Any advice on cleaning the 7’ cluster plastic without damaging it? please and thank you
Insurance totalled my 2008 (2.0), and I was super lucky to get a 2008 (2.3) for less than what they totalled me for. Changed the spark plugs and couldn't get one out. BE GENTLE. I broke some of the ceramic. It's a B to get the pieces out. And second, double check the fuel type for your car... The old one took regular, but this one takes premium. My engine is mad at me!
just bought a new y 3, and notice that a lot of people have issues cleaning the gauge cluster. Has anyone actually got a working method of cleaning the gauges? without scratching?
Bought this 2015 mazda3 yesterday. It has this usb hub under the dash, but whenever I connect my phone to it, no carplay shows. Do I need a different hub/hacked firmware? Says it’s 74.00.324.
It seems like everyone with a Mazda 3 likes the hatchback and I actually hate it
‘17 with a manual transmission with only 39k miles. Such an awesome daily.
I'm wanting to replace 2 wheels on my 2014 hatchback that were curbed when I got it. Just wondering if oem reps will look the same and are good or if i should try to find a couple of factory wheels.
So as the title says, I’ve been told by friends recently when I told them how much I put down on my 2022 Mazda3 premium FWD that I should’ve been able to get a much better rate. For reference I put down 8K and the car was 25K (barely used, 8K miles on it when I bought it). I’m a first time buyer and I shopped rates with Chase and got a worse rate than the dealer, and the dealer gave me 10% so I ended up going with them. Im 19 and had a decent credit history with always paying my CC off but not many other forms of credit. Is 10% rate that outrageous for how much I put down?
I replaced my battery recently and now my infotainment controls don’t work. The touch screen still works for settings and GPS but nothing else is selectable and the knob and buttons do nothing. They’re still lighting up and the fuses look ok (not that I can tell which controls those instruments) but I’ve had no luck fixing it. Does anyone else have any insight?
So I noticed that when I lock my car, I can still open the trunk. Today I tested it and the trunk still opened but after 5 to 10 seconds the alarm went off. Why does it not lock? Anyone else have this problem
Mazda 3 GT sport 2019 and want to make some mods to make it sound better. Budget is around $500. What can I do?
Anything to know about the 2017 Mazda3 sports? I’m loving it so far
So my 2016 sedan battery died and I had to get a new one. All of a sudden my radio won’t work. Like I can’t even click on the entertainment button or turn the volume button but navigation communication and settings works and it even connects to my phone. Is there another way to get this fixed aside from going to the dealership? A guy I know who is great on cars is offering to replace the radio for 480.
I have a 2016 Mazda 3 with 186,000 miles (big commuter). Paid off. I’m faced with deciding to put $2,500-3,000 of work into it (brake pads, tires, front wheel bearings, rust on rocker panel), or purchase a new vehicle (a Mazda, of course).
I’ve had this car for almost 8 years with no major trouble. Engine looks good. Assuming I put the money for repairs into it, will I have peace of mind that she’ll run with no (major) trouble for at least another…25,000 miles?
Any guidance is helpful; I don’t want to be bound to a new car payment yet if it’s financially feasible to keep this car for a bit longer. But I’m open getting a new Maz if it makes the most sense. Thanks!
Has anyone in the UK added side skirts, front and rear diffusers to their Mazda 3 and of so, where did you buy them from?
I am looking at a 2020 white sports Lux model or a grey GT sport. Thanks
I’m choosing between a nice new base sedan and a barely used beautiful hatch select. My concern with the hatch is the larger wheels vs our terrible and perennial potholes where I live. Also the leather interior. The smaller wheels and cloth of the base give me less anxiety about long-term ownership. Is this a rational way to decide between these two options? Is it rational to ask strangers on Reddit? 😂 Thanks
Changed the plugs on my daughter’s 2016 Mazda 3 with 93000 miles while she is home from college. Could not have been easier. Next up front brakes.
Hello, I have a Mazda 3 2016. My engine coolant FL22 is bellow the L letter, even though it has only 70k km. I don't know why.
Tomorrow I have to go on a long 15 hours trip, can I just add the FL22 type coolant into the tank reservoir untill it reaches the L letter or do I necessarily need to replace it all?
Thank you
