I thought her face markings are stunning, so wanted to share.
I bottle fed and fostered her and her litter as kittens and my next door neighbors adopted her. I love that I still get to see her as she grows. She’ll be a year old in May :)
Almost 6 weeks ago I lost my soul kitty, Balam, to FIP. He was only 7 months old. It was terrible, I cried daily and asked him to return to me. I told him “you know where to find me, I will not adopt another kitten unless you appear or send one to the exact same place you showed up”. This is a grocery store which is underneath my apartment ran by a family with whom I am good friends.
2 days ago, they ring my bell showing me a 5 week old kitten that showed up by herself. She is a beautiful Calico kitten, I still have not determined her sex but suspect she is a female. I named her Muyal (cloud from the sky in Mayan) and she has done so many things already my Balam did, including picking exact same hiding spots! But she has her own peraonality! Question for Calico owners out there: in your experience how are Calico kitten personalities? What should I expect?
