This little boy is coming home early next year from Dreamangel Cattery in NZ and I'm so excited to have him with us 🥹 he's just so adorable and I'm counting down the days eagerly 💗💓
Anyone interested of getting a male Ragdoll kitten? I want to rehome my sweet boy to a loving family. Just got him recently and i just found out I am pregnant 🤰 and I don’t think I will able take care of him as before. Msg me if anyone interested. I’m located in Milwaukee.
I have two ragdolls, a few months apart. Both 2.5 years old. Most days of the week we work from home, so they are not alone for more than 15 hours all together in a week. I spend a lot of time petting them. I try to play with them almost every day. Some days they don't play at all. I feel so bad. I feel they should chase eachother around the house. But with my back pain it is hard for me to help them get in the mood. How much do you guys play with your cats? I have so many automated toys. They don't care about them. How do you play?
I didn’t want to breed - especially not with two full siblings and aged 6 months old. The breeder has told me she’ll accept one of the kittens as payment for breeding rights (I had bought them as pets). Does that seem right? I’m so worried that the mum will struggle as she is so young and ever so small as the runt of the litter. And of course, possible health implications for the litter…
Is there any advice please? Even if it’s how to care for the mother/ litter… My children are very attached to this BROTHER and sister pair so giving one or both back to the breeder isn’t a fair option (it crossed my mind).
Gosh.
Hi everyone, this is a follow up post from https://www.reddit.com/r/ragdolls/s/RibGsSMhzg. Basically a new situation has occurred.
So I’ve taken my boy (3 yrs old) to the vet and they did a full check with no known signs of any medical concerns. His pissing is now down to only behavioural. However the vet thought it was pretty bad so got him set up on gabapentin. He had a cycle of one week of 2 pills a day and now half a pill twice a day. Today is the first time he is taking the half pills and I’ve sprinkled in in his food which I think he’s figured out because he is doesn’t seem to be munching on the food like he usually does.
Now as he was eating I was cleaning his litter and heard him walk up to me. I headed back to my bedroom (where I keep the door closed to prevent him from peeing on the bed) and he absolutely sprinted for my room and hopped up on the bed and assumed his crouch pissing position. Moments before this he was right next to his litter box room and seemed to be acting calm. Whenever he decides to piss I feel like his pupils become big and he seems like he’s got the zoomies but in reality just goes to piss on my bed. Is he just angry at me for drugging his food? Sometimes he’s fine in the room but others like just then was dangerous. Also I have feliway humidifying the room as well.
Any help on this would be so greatly appreciated. I love my boy but does it mean he won’t be allowed into my bedroom at all?
Update:
I have a feeling it’s because he was angry at me. So this morning when it happened I gave him gabapentin mixed with his favourite food which he usually eats lots of. But I’m guessing it doesn’t taste very good with the medicine so he didn’t eat it at all. Could him rushing to pee on my bed be a sign of him being angry at me? Right now he just went to do his business in the litter box while I was in the bathroom as well.
Do Ragdolls shed a lot of hair? I used to have a magnificent British Shorthair. She shed so much hair, not just during molting season. Just petting her would leave our hands full of fur.

He melts my heart. I love him so much.
He will have 3 brothers very excited to play with him!
My boy is getting neutered right now (dropped him off at 8am, can’t pickup until 4:45pm.) It is 12pm and my girl cat (they’re siblings 6months old) is losing her mind! Running around, meowing super loud everywhere she goes and it is making me so sad! She really misses him and I do call her over and she’ll lay with me for a bit and purr loudly but then go and search for him again. She’s also panting from meowing so much. What can I do for her? I feel so bad and I miss my boy too but how can I calm her for another 4 and a half hours?
Also, how can I prepare for when he comes home? Will my girl play too rough with him? Will she recognize him?
At first I thought she was weened off of her mom too fast (she’s 1.4 years old) but now I think she’s just quirky and it’s comforting for her 😆 what’s your ragdolls quirk?? She was doing this while on a work meeting hahaha talk about distracting me with her cuteness!!
Just caught Oatmeal (resident cat) grooming Baggins (new baby we brought home 2 weeks ago). He was always obsessed with her but she took getting used to. Even though they fought 2 minutes after this, I’m counting it as a win!!
She is getting spayed today so I’m a bit nervous but I think it will all be fine.
This is Suki, she is 9 months old and a seal mitted with blaze 🩵
And his whiskers are so perfect 🤩 my handsome boy 🥰
