I’ve taken him to the vet twice. They said it may be a virus they gave him medicine but he’s still sneezing and may be just me but his purr sounds like if he was congested? Any thoughts or I’m I overthinking? He has an appointment next Saturday.
We adopted a ragdoll 3 weeks ago, she is 3 and I don’t think she was particularly well taken care of in her previous home, so she is quite shy.
Shes playful in the morning and sleeps on the bed with us every night but most of the day she just hides in her bed and won’t come. But still accepts pets and belly rubs as long as it is within the safety of her bed/cave.
I’ve read how important it is to encourage play, but I know she is still settling in. Is it normal for them to be hiding away like this or should I be encouraging her to come out and play more?

Hello, I have a 2 year old Blue Mitted Ragdoll called Benjamin, it’s getting close to his annual booster injection. Benjamin is a fully indoor cat. I’m curious of the need for booster vaccines as a lot of my friends and relatives with domestic cats tend to get the initial vaccines or none at all, these cats are outdoor cats. I’m not necessarily looking for opinions on the vaccine itself, but more in terms of people in the same situation as me and how your decision was made. I Appreciate any help! I’m based in the United Kingdom
She is 12 weeks old and alternates between stuffed animal docility and high energy spice.

Hello! I am not sure if this is a reputable breeder, I came across them in some discussions on this forum and also saw they had some reviews on google and Facebook. Can I get a second pair of eyes to take a look?

I have paid the deposit for a kitten, but I’m feeling a bit sweaty right now because I was unable to obtain proof of HCM or FELV testing other than written email confirmation. The breeder also warned me against rabies and felv vaccines, and does not vaccinate their cats other than distemper.
I am naturally a bit of an anxious person, and I just want to make sure I get a healthy kitten.
Update: I am no longer working with this breeder.
We are picking up our second ragdoll this week, she will be 15 weeks old. We have a 1 y/o from the same breeder (pictured above), and she is just amazing. Since we have so much extra kitten wet food, I was planning on feeding the new kitty the same, which is Royal Canin kitten. Our 1 y/o had a bit of a sensitive stomach to it last year when we first brought her home, so I’m wondering should I opt for a more digestive friendly wet food? If so, any recs? My 1 y/o girl is quite picky, so I’m assuming our new girl will be the same.
Hi. I want to find a reputable breeder in San Francisco or nearby. I have been scammed before, buying two kittens from a fake breeder and it wasn’t only the money I lost, it’s the preparation for the kittens, the expectations and the excitement of waiting for their arrival, which never happened. I was heart broken! So, any information or advice will be much appreciated.
Thank you,
Walter
P.S. Feel free to chat with me privately! Have a nice weekend.
This lil one melts my heart on the daily
Is your cat cuddly? Do they get on well with other fluffs? Are they liabilities?
Found a kitty im willing to drive for! This would be for AZ for late march. Im a little nervous to send deposit. Anyone heard of lildarlings? Also if theyre on TICA am i safe? Price seems a little too good to be true.
Thank you!
Hi friends
For context we have a 4 yr old ragdoll called Zelda, who was an only cat for most of that time. She's lived with my husband and I across two apartments and a house and been comfortable in all of them.
Zelda has never been a "typical ragdoll" - she isn't a lap cat and hates being picked up, but she's our shadow and is very attached to us. She's been a daddy's girl forever, I could barely pat her until she hit 2 years old.
We wanted a two-cat household from the start but were unable to until this year due to leases. We went back to the same breeder last year and were able to adopt a kitten who had the same father as Zelda, in the hopes that they'd get along. With being from the same breeder/family etc.
We followed all the advice for introducing them slowly as per Mr galaxy and many websites. We got the kitten at just about 4 months old, his name is Ganon and he has been nothing short of a miracle kitten.
Ganon is the typical ragdoll, he begs to be picked up and wants cuddles 24/7, which is lovely. He's very confident which helped him a lot with getting used to his new home.
The issue is that it has been six months, and Zelda is still bullying Ganon. At first we figured she's just showing him that it's her house and she was here first. She would bodyslam him (for lack of a better word) and throw her weight around to intimidate him.
He's now the same size and weight as her so can hold his own in a fight but often surrenders and shows his belly cause he just wants to play and surrender. But she still growls and hisses at him daily. He tries to instigate play and she screeches at him.
The main thing I'm noticing is that when I (mum) go to pat her she is cool with it until the moment she lays eyes on Ganon. If she sees him she will start to growl if I pat her, or even lash out at me if I try to touch her while she can see him. Does she see pats from me as a sign of weakness?
I don't know how to reassure her that she has nothing to fear, I don't want her to feel uncomfortable but also poor Ganon has started to avoid coming to us for attention due to her attitude which is also not okay.
Have any of you had an experience like this or do you have advice for us? Thank you in advance, this sub has been such a help to us over the year and I am hoping I can get some advice on this issue.
When they are sleepy they can sit close to each other, but no cuddling obviously.
Once I figure out how to add a picture I'll show you my fur babies. Thanks!
