Modkat Litterbox?

Hello! We are adopting our first ragdolls in 3 weeks- a brother/sister pair from same litter. Does anyone use the Modkat XL or Modkat Flip? Pros/cons?

Which ragdoll breeders do you recommend in California? Open to north and south CA.

I hear Furreal ragdolls and Ruby Ridge ragdolls were reputable. Any others?

How much do you feed your ragdoll?!

Trying to calculate a food budget since I am getting my ragdoll in July (pic attached - I am DYING waiting).

I've looked at SO many websites and I just can't find a good consensus on how much to feed per day/how often. Some do it by weight, some by calories (which doesn't make sense since if it's kibble that's a lot of carbs which is bad).

Could you please share 1) how old your raggie is 2)how much you feed? 3)what type of food? 4) how much you spend per month?

THANK YOU :)

Lavender candles/diffusers

Hi guys, I have had Wilbur for a month now and he’s been the best decision I’ve ever made! I know that eating certain flowers are poisonous to cats like lavender - which is a scent I very much love. Are candles and oil diffusers also completely out of the question? It’s always been something that calms my anxiety but I don’t want to bring anything into my home that would put him at risk - his health is paramount. Any advice/knowledge would be greatly appreciated

How early did you get your ragdolls?

My breeder says 14 weeks🥺 I understand that they need to be by their moms and siblings for a while, at the same time I’m seeing lots of 10 and 12 week olds out there being given to their families. Visiting them for the first time tomorrow to pick one from the littler (already got another cat). They are 4,5 weeks old right now. I wonder if their personality will already show?

BEWARE!! Joyful Ragdolls and Maine Coons of Michigan sells sick kittens!! Greeder / Mill - DOES NOT STAND BY HEALTH GUARANTEE!!!

Rebecca Tietz at Joyful Ragdolls and Maine Coons of Michigan sold me a sick Maine Coon kitten for $3500 with Coccidia (parasites) and a UTI, as well as a possible bowel obstruction that may need surgery. Rebecca refused to let me return the kitten even though we have a signed contract
guaranteeing a "healthy kitten". She has also refused to refund any of the money I gave her even though the kitten is clearly not healthy enough to become a breeder. Her supposed "health guarantee" in the contract is complete and total BS!! Don't let her fool you!

The kitten left their home dirty and smelly with feces and litter matted in her fur; not at all how a professional breeder should be sending a kitten to their new home! The kitten is skinny and struggles to eat the food she sent home with her, and she has been lethargic and sickly ever since she arrived. She doesn't want to play or do much of anything besides sleep or sit there with her eyes half open like she doesn't feel well. Breeder said she supposedly wormed the kitten 3 times, yet the vet confirmed she still has worms (I saw with my own eyes after her temperature was taken and there was a parasite squirming on the end of the thermometer in the bloody stool). She was taken to the vet within the first 72 hours of purchase, as required by the contract, and the vet immediately stated the she was not in good health and should not have been sold in such a condition, especially for $3500!! Vet has run many tests with more to come... Can't wait to see what other medical problems show up!! I have been in contact with Rebecca the whole time this has been happening, and she has done next to nothing. She keeps making excuses, telling lies, and stating "if there was something wrong with her she would have noticed", but she has done absolutely NOTHING to truly try to help the situation. She got her money, so now it's MY problem, not hers!! Rebecca is a scandalous backyard breeder who cares about nothing other than the money she gets. It's people like her who give responsible and respectable breeders a bad name! Please do not do business with her! And please spread the word!!

Getting a kitten should be a joyful and exciting experience, but this has been stressful and traumatic and just an all-around HORRIBLE experience in every way!! I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend this breeder unless you like throwing money away, having to keep your kitten in quarantine for several weeks, along with taking many trips to the vet. Not at all what I was expecting for the money I paid!!!! People like this have no business owning animals, much less selling them to unsuspecting families who want nothing more than to show these sweet creatures love.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! Her kittens might be cute, but she is absolutely NOT a responsible or caring breeder as she might claim to be! PLEASE don’t make the same mistake I did! RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!!!!

Enrichment ideas for my cat who is cooped up in my room.

I am in the process of reintroducing my cats. My rag is my room while the other two cats have the rest of the house. They have been having fights recently.

Its been around 4 days of my rag being in my room and he is starting to get more restless which is completely understandable. My room isn't that small but it isn't that big either.

Any idea on how to keep my cat less stressed or restless? I have a cat tree, cat shelves, scratchers, bird feeder at the window, I have every cat toy, sprinkle treats around for him to find, and I play with him around 7-10 times a day. What more can I do for him?

He also just meows a lot more now and it breaks my heart that I cant do more for him.
