Posted from James Larsen:

The San Antonio Brahmas have quietly had a strong UFL offseason, attracting plenty of former NFL talent:

  • QB Kellen Mond - Vikings 3rd round pick
  • WR Ty Frygogle - UDFA, Cowboys & Chiefs
  • WR Ra'Shaun Henry - UDFA, 4 NFL stints
  • OL Justin Shaffer - Falcons 6th round pick
  • DE Kobe Jones - UDFA, 6 NFL stints
  • LB Rashod Berry - UDFA, 3 NFL stints
  • DB Chris Steele - UDFA, 4 NFL stints
  • DB Henry Black - UDFA, 5 NFL stints
  • S Tariq Carpenter - Packers 7th round pick

They also signed RB Hassan Hall & EDGE Marcus Haynes, both of whom saw NFL opportunities after signing their contracts. Haynes currently remains on the Browns' PS.

This list also doesn't include the multiple signings of draft-eligible players who landed in San Antonio (i.e. La'Damian Webb, John Morgan, Kaleb Ford-Dement).

General Manager Marc Lillibridge continues to prove why he's one of the best in the business: this San Antonio Brahmas unit is shaping up to be even better than the Championship squad we saw this past season.

I agree with Larsen that the team has been adding a lot of talent this offseason, and I'm excited to see how the roster shapes up once we get closer to camp (February 2025).

For anyone interested, you can check out a snapshot of what the roster currently looks like here. Note that the greyed out names were on the team last season but have not signed on to return for 2025 to date.

How is everyone feeling about the roster so far?
