It’s one of those big fuckers from harbor freight, also I’m going as a bank robber with a nerf gun and no bullets. I’m 200$ into our costumes and wondering if we’re fucked. Thanks bouncer battalion
Thanks bouncer brigade
I have a job now but the job hunt after I got hurt and had to quit was rough. So many jobs cited my past as a bouncer being a red flag due to possible violent tendencies.
Looking for a side gig to start working the door at a couple bars or strip clubs any pointers would be much appreciated
I, (M16) got tickets for a event thats 18+ in the Silo Dublin, which is a notoriously strict with id. How should I go around getting past the bouncer? I will be going in with a few friends, maybe one being 17 using his brothers id that looks like him and the rest being above 18.
Ive had a few ideas.
Using my brothers ID. He looks VERY slightly like me. May have to buzz the hair first because he has curly hair and I do not.
Getting a UK fake ID. I live in Dublin, the event takes place in Dublin. I was thinking maybe if I used a Northern Irish fake they wouldnt know what to look for?
If anyone has any tips or ideas let me know. Im dying to go to this.
I want to be sure they're not a threat, that they're not carrying and they're most importantly not going to start trouble. How do you determine such things and what is your success rate?
About 30 yrs ago I was working as a bouncer at a Spanish night club. I'm a female 5'4 and 110lbs soaking wet. My two partners both male off duty cops. My main job was to pat down females upon entering. One night the club was showing a ppv fight. I heard a ruckus not to far from me. My two partners was on the other side of the dance floor. One male drunk off his ass was stupid and took a swing at me. Big mistake buddy, I wrapped my handcuffs around my hand and fired back. By the time my partners got to me, I had one guy in cuffs and the other holding whatever was left of his nose. Both guys were tossed. My partners both asked me if I was ok. I mustered up a cracking voice almost in tears I said " noooo. I broke a nail!"
I accidentally burned (by this the plastic bubbled a little on top) and warped my id a bit, my job requires me to work near hot ovens so i accidentally leaned against one with it in my back pocket (my jeans got burnt too sadly), my id did save me from getting hurt but now im scared that bouncers will think its a fake. Should i just bite the bullet and get a new one, i am freshly 22 too so my bday does look a little sus
Hi Guys,
So last year 2023 I went to a nightclub with my mates. Long story short I was racially abused by some people and then they told the bouncer I was threatening to attack them. The bouncer believed them BECAUSE THEY WERE SOBER!!! The bouncer was threatening to attack me if I dont leave. I told him if you attack me I will retaliate back since I didnt do anything and you cant just raise your hands on me without evidence.
The night ended with me GETTING A 4 YEAR BAN ON MY ID!!!???
How could I get unbanned? 4 years is very harsh
EDIT: Reached out to venue, provided evidence of what happened that night. Resulted in BAN GETTING LIFTED!! 🥳
In your state, what are the top three ways to prove an ID is fake? We are pretty good when it comes to GA fake IDs, but when looking at other states, we don’t have the trade craft.
I avoid fights at all costs especially at bars and clubs. Still I'm just curious what the actual skill is. I'd like to think not good especially if drunk.
There's so many facets of security but trade and tactics of bar/nightlife/venue is such a different beast.
How's everyone doing out there post 2020 re-open life?
Currently in downtown PDX and it's...still very much in an adjustment period.
Cheers ya'll!
When the drunk guy wants to fight
under black lights up , and there is no. Cut on the face , exp. date, or b day
Hey there, I'm new but is there any book or reference packet that would have photos of the most common ID types (all 50 US states, etc.) and the security features so I could quickly check for specific things that might prove it's fake. I remember once when I was going to a club a bouncer took out a large binder and opened it up to a page looked at it and looked at my ID and I gave it back to me. I'm assuming that it showed what to look for on my ID to prove its authentic and I was wondering if I could get something similar.
I supervise two different venues: a nightclub and an event theater. We host a Bollywood night at both locations. The nightclub has a bar-watch system, which helps keep patrons in line, but the theater doesn't use it, leading to more issues. Last week, the event at the theater got chaotic with fights, cleaning problems, and noise complaints. The theater isn't willing to invest in bar-watch since it's not available for just one night and they don’t face issues with other events. I’m looking for suggestions on a system to ban problematic patrons for a single night.
Hi all! I'll be joining a Dungeons and Dragons campaign and will be role-playing a bouncer/bodyguard/law enforcement character, and I'm looking for aome expression, poses, catchphrase, to make it more interesting.
Extra details:
Race: Warforged https://dnd5e.wikidot.com/lineage:warforged
Class: Barbarian https://dnd5e.wikidot.com/barbarian
Sub-Class: Zealot (https://dnd5e.wikidot.com/barbarian:zealot)
Background: Created by a Dragonborn, requested by an Elf for multi-role protection, hence his name is "Enforcer". The Elf died before he was ready to use so he left his city looking for purpose.
The character also has some Destiny 2 - Titans inspiration.
Previous Incident at the Same Location This is not the first time that violence has erupted at the Deja Vu Showgirls venue. Approximately eight months ago, in November, a shooting occurred at the same location. In that incident, a Security Guard was shot while escorting an individual out of the club.
The assailant, who drove by in a black Tesla, fired the shots from the vehicle before fleeing the scene. That incident, like the current one, occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 4:00 AM.
Gotta be signed in and 18+ to watch.
Video that’s getting attention from our page. Enjoy.
This is for bouncers in the uk
I am somebody who is neurodivergent and I struggle to walk in a straight line. Sadly, sometimes bouncers assume that I’m drunk or on drugs when I’m not. I have dyspraxia and I don’t drink alcohol. I am teetotal and would go to the bar and buy a mocktail or juice.
Additionally, I have a condition that makes my eyes different from many others, but some bouncers think I’ve taken something even when I haven’t. I feel that bouncers need to undergo neurodiverse training to spot the difference between somebody who is drunk or on drugs and somebody with learning differences, a disability, or a medical condition.
Unfortunately, from speaking to some bouncers, unless the bouncer is neurodiverse themselves, many bouncers don’t receive training or understand the differences, which they really should.
Even when explaining to bouncers about having a medical condition with learning differences, some bouncers rudely don’t care and just assume I’m on something, which isn’t the case. They think I’m lying because I don’t look like society’s image of a disabled person.
I know im not the first or only person it happens to either.
Hello, I am a 21F and recently have starting going out now that all my friends are having their 21st birthdays. This weekend we went out to celebrate, at the last bar we went to there was two men that I had noticed a couple times just staring at us.
It got to the point where I would turn around and there they would be. I gave them looks a couple times and a few times grabbed the guy friend we were with and positioned him right in-between us girls and the men.
Every time I thought they got the hint I would turn around and there they were just watching us. The creepier of the two ended up following us alone towards the end of the night. And even grabbed my friend by her waist to try and ask her to dance. This was after we had already shown disinterest.
My question is, the next time this happens can I get a bouncer? Will the bouncer go and talk to the man and tell him to stop or he has to leave? I don’t know if there are protocols in place for people who will not leave you alone, but I would love to know what options I have for keeping myself and my friends safe and comfortable. Thank you so much!
