I've got an itek action sports cam. First video I did using my chest mount accidentally just recorded my feet the whole ride and can't hear a damn thing. Figured a way to rig it to my helmet but still unsure about the potential use of external audio
Absolutely disgusting driving from a so called professional. Would have to be only millimetres from being knocked off as he cut in from the next lane over to miss the kerb. Ridiculous. I just wish I knew what punishment this scumbag had received
When will these lawless drivers finally be forced to sit a test and get a licence so that things like this won't happen
First crash is just totally brain-dead driving, trying to go round the outside when there was only one lane. Neither driver wanted the footage and drove off
Second crash I assume the driver was on their phone, driver that was hit didn't think there was any damage so everyone moved on
(OC) Warning Swearing . (Glasgow Scotland) . The officer that investigated thought I ought to be on the cyclepath , quoted rule 61 HWC , after seeing he was wrong he told me I should be in the gutter contrary to advice that primary position was safer . He wouldn't do anything about the lack of 2 meter's as I was in the middle of the road and the offending taxi did not cause any interference to oncoming traffic .Complaint was filed before he could get back to the station .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkWvIQuYERM
Hi all –
Looking for some advice. I have a Garmin Varia RCT715 radar with added camera and taillight. I've been on the fence about getting a front camera. I'd like to be as safe as possible since I've been in two bike accidents in the past – t-boned by a 14 year old on a moped who ran a stop sign and forced off the road by a car that sped away – but I am not sure how much a dedicated front camera would do for me. I live in an area with sparse street lights and bike home from work at night and it seems GoPro and Cycliq aren't great in low-lighting. I read reviews saying InstaPro's Ace Pro and One RS 1 are better, but I am unsure if they're better enough to capture license plates in close passes or collisions at night. If they're not, I don't think they're worth it given how expensive they are. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
This intersection has a bike light which in one of the cycles is the only green for this direction as the opposing direction gets a protected straight signal (all bikes, busses, and trains). A bus blocked the intersection when it turned red (Bus was past the stop line) and 2 cars entered the intersection one red turning a left and a SUV didn't even treat their stop slight as a stop sign.
