Presidents Speech - 30th Parliament

Dhawra nguna dhawra Ngunawal

My fellow Australians, this SDP Government will focus on the Cost of Living Crisis, the Housing Crisis and Climate Crisis, because we recognise the current state of things and realise that everything fundamentally needs to change for the common good and good governance of Australia and the world. We will face these challenges and introduce meaningful and impactful reforms that will foster a more prosperous and secure Australia, that will govern in the interest of the everyday Australian and not special interests that exist abroad or internally.

My Government will engage with the world to host the interests of Australia and its people and through this we will engage to enhance the status of Australia in the world and engaging to enhance the Rights and Liberties of everyone, and thusly, we will denounce Israel for its ongoing and past War Crimes and the Genocide against the Palestinian People especially in Gaza, we will engage with our allies to apply ample pressure such as Sanctions to bring relief and much needed Aid to the Palestinian people and to implement a Pernament Ceasefire and a halt to the genocide. When it comes to such a serious matter such as this, we will utilise every capability we have to make sure that Israel stops its genocidal project and will make sure to bring relief to the Palestinian people.

My Government will also introduce policies that will enhance our cyber-security and begin to tackle the Fascist Threat in Australia as a growing problem, the era of Islamic Terrorism has come to an end and what we are seeing now is the rise of the Far-Right, a White Supremacist and Fascistic movement that will engage in Terrorist acts and Organisations to achieve it’s political goals, and it is because of this that we will respond appropriately and our goal will be the Liquidation and Paralysation of the Fascist threat in order to protect Australian Democracy and Communities of Australia. Along with this, we will introduce Control and Presentative Orders and measures that will stamp out the financing and recruitment of people into the movement, while at the same time we will seize and freeze their asset, and finally, we will look into further legislation that will curtail the fascist movement, such as looking into a more proactive Security Regime that can better respond to new and growing fascist organisations while also looking into how to curtail the growth of the fascist ideology itself.

My Government will invest into our defence industry in order to bring in jobs but to also invest in the future of Australia’s Military security and defence capabilities in order to bring about a more independent Defence Policy that puts Australia’s interests first. We will couple this with an Independent Foreign Policy that uses rational and deliberate knowledge in order to enhance Australia’s standing in the world that places Australians and the interests of Australia first while approaching it with a Humanitarian lens.

My Government will continue to upgrade the NBN and to invest in internet infrastructure that will provide fast and reliable internet to every Australian since the internet has become increasingly more needed in vital job sectors such as health and provides much needed e-commerce for small businesses. With this in mind, we will seek to enhance this experience while also introducing legislation that will enhance online privacy and data protection, while also looking into reforming copyright and intellectual property laws in order to strengthen both our academic field but also our artists while being Consumer and User Oriented in our policies.

My Government will continue with the Policy of Indigenisation, to strengthen the Autonomous Indigenous Councils and to implement the Language Teaching Program that will foster the revitalisation of Indigenous Languages in order to reverse the marks of colonialism. Along with Programmes to reverse Australian Chauvinism and Nationalism in order to foster Multiculturalism and to pursue a Treaty with First Nation Australians. We must have the sins of the past and make genuine amends with First Nations in order to bring about genuine change to Australia, to bridge the gap and to treat Indigenous Australians as Equals.

My Government will tackle workplace harassment and misogyny in order for people of all genders to work safely at a worksite that allows for all identities and doesn’t allow for toxicity. Along with this, we will strengthen LGBT and Women’s Protections not just at the worksite but also for those in Institutions such as schools, because discrimination in all forms is not acceptable and we mustn't tolerate it.

My Government will continue to invest in Green and Renewable Energy Infrastructure and Generation, for this government we will focus on Transmission and Storage in order to upgrade Australia’s distribution infrastructure to be ready and continue the transition, this coupled with strong and impactful investments into Generation will make Australia less reliant on Coal, Oil and Gas and as time goes on, we will no longer need it for energy generation.

My Government will begin to tackle the many issues currently seen in the Agricultural Sector, we will increase to Farm Debt Reduction Scheme to 10% and develop a new scheme that will seek to reorganise our Agricultural system, with the goal of making it more efficient and productive in its output while placing Worker’s at the forefront of this reform. We will work this reform in tandem with the Computerisation and further Mechanisation of Agriculture in order to reduce the workload of Workers along with having information and data collected on the work site in order to allow for a better future, both short term and long term planning. Which will allow for more stable growth in the sector while keeping it competitive in the world market.
