I got a 2013 Audi S5 3 weeks ago, I learned about cleaning the Mass Air Flow Sensor to optimize horsepower and torque. I cannot find any thing online stating where to find the MAF Sensor, can anyone please explain where it is at or point me in the direction of a source online that shows me? Thank you guys I appreciate everyone that takes the time to help me🙌🙌
currently in a 2018 a4 and test drove a 2016 s6 yesterday. what a fun drive; I was smiling the whole time. very much on the fence about trading the a4 in on it. from what I’ve read the s6 oil screens have to be fine so I’m looking into previous maintenance records. Any other thoughts/ opinions on the 16’ s6? Do I pull the trigger on the turbo V8?
Hi all,
I'm a researcher/writer interested in learning more about the team's service vehicles, particularly the Volkswagen LT vans that are in so many of the images of Audi Sport teams during the early 80s. I'm told that during that time, the service teams had to do some very fast and skilled driving themselves just to keep up with the rally cars between stages. I wondered if there's anything more anyone in this community might be willing to share with me about the vans (specs, drivers & team members, etc.), the service teams in general, and any good stories that the service teams may have had during particular rallies? Encounters with traffic or local authorities, mechanical issues, what it was like to drive an Audi Sport service van and what life might have been like for the service teams, mechanics, etc. I realize this is a pretty broad request, so any information anyone would be willing to offer me would be greatly appreciated! I've found almost nothing online or elsewhere about this part of Audi Sport's history, and I'd love to do some research and maybe write a piece about it!
Thanks again for any info, pictures, stories, etc. that anyone is willing to offer!
