Howdy y’all. My husband’s grandma died 1.5 years ago and we can move into her house in Oconee county (his mother inherited the house but she lives out of state). It’s only about ten minutes from us (East Athens). Even though this would be a significant help to us financially (husband is in grad school) and it would good for the house to be lived in, we’ve been hesitant because our kids are super happy in their current Clarke county schools. Any luck with keeping kids in CCSD but living in Oconee? Everything I’ve found online is about doing this within a district. Or any experiences having an LGBTQ+ kid in the Oconee school district? I'm a single mom who is currently at one of the shelters in Athens. I moved here from another city. I know there are a few other shelters but are there possibly any that google might not have? Like any church based shelters or shelters that are specifically for families? I know some shelters such as Bigger Vision don't allow children.

I'm a single mom currently staying at a shelter and right now the shelter is paying for my son's daycare until my exit date so that I can start working because they know that a parent can't work if they don't have childcare set up. I finally got a job but I'm not sure how much longer I can afford the daycare after I'm out of the shelter. And no I don't have family that can help me. And no I don't have child support yet either.

Cop says he clocked me at 85, (20 over), though in reality my speedometer read 80 (15 over) and I was already slowing down as he clocked me.
