Im going to do a clean install but was wondering if you can backup your favorite cars and track choices. I really dont want to lose them.

Game comes with engine off, buttons for ignition and starters unassigned, I assigned them, still not working.

I have a Moza R5 with the SRP Lites. These pedals aren't terrible, but they're not exactly incredible. I've spent a lot of time tweaking them, including setting pedal curves in Moza's software, but there was always something missing.

A few days ago, I ran into a PSA post telling people to change their gamma from 2.4 to 1 in ACC when switching to loadcells, as 2.4 is only good for linear pedals.

I went to check the gamma I have in AC and noticed it's 1. Since I have linear pedals, I tried the opposite and set gamma to 2.4.

The brake now feels a lot like an actual brake. It's not that the springs behave any different, but how the travel is interpreted feels a lot closer to how it is in an actual car.

Did the same to the throttle, and it's also a lot better than before.

So, if you have cheap pedals, this may be a good thing to try to improve how to control them.

Some cars have this White square in the AO map, when calculating AO only shows up a White Square.

Most of the cars usually look like this

I would assume that the car doesn't have a AO map, the txDiffuse in this Audi above is called skin which has a normal AO map.

The txDiffuse in the empty one is called metal_detail_body. Which doesn't have any indication that it could a skin.

I think I know what AO Map usually do (maps the ambient occlusion in the car I would assume). But I usually just use as a reference in Photoshop.

My issue:

I want to do a custom paintjob(skin,livery) on the empty AO map car, but I don't even know how to do something like that. Can anyone point me to the right direction, I only use Photoshop, so I have no knowledge of 3D anything. But if there's any way to export from 3D to a 2D DDS like the other cars I could do it.

Anyone why does some cars have this problem? Is there any way that I could do a paint job in the car that does not have a AO map?

This always happens right after starting. Tried to use different PP filters, swapping between PureLCD/PureGamma. Nothing seems to help. Anyone got an idea? Contacted Peter on discord but he is a bit clueless too. Maybe someone else got this?

Already tried reinstalling Pure + CSP, same.

I've been in sim racing for quite some time now, but I feel I reached quite a plateau and it's weighting on me. I can't get to improve my driving skill. I've been learning weight transfer and "pedal driving" for the last couple of months but I didn't feel it click. When I try to trail brake, I generally understeer and I don't really manage to get the car to rotate with my brake inputs more than if I was just coasting. It happens both in AC and ACC.

Here's a video of my PB lap I managed to get on Donington Park, it's the track I chose to pratice my skills. If you see anything I do wrong and could improve, I'll gladly take your feedback.

How do I enable that options in content manager? I want to be able to use the paddles and the sequential shifter without needing to chose profiles each time I want to change between them. Can't use the sequential SHH Shifter with the keyboard bindings (Option on the right).

Need some assistance please. Watched a few YouTube videos on setting my VR for AC with my 6700xt. It seems possible. I have a ryzen 9 3900 and 16gb ram.

It doesn’t work extremely laggy. It also displays on the monitor how do I stop it from the dual display on VR and monitor?

Any advice with this setup. I just want to play 🙏🏽. Will really appreciate any assistance 🙏🏽

So today I was trying to play Assetto Corsa Competizione on steam and it gave me an error but then my Antivirus picked it up as a Threat just says IDP.Generic or something like that and quarantined it. Verified integrity of game files then it says disk write error where the play button should be. Wouldn’t let me do anything just keeps saying error. Please help this is an awesome game and I want to enjoy it peacefully. I haven’t got a false positive ever with my current antivirus. Never quarantined a games Exe before. Please help!!

“AC2-win64-shipping.exe” is the file that my AV is picking up. I just had to stop playing GZW because of the constant PC freezes.. so now I’m dealing with this good Lord…

Does anyone know the difference? I have a Fastlane.aip files but I have no idea how to use it. I think it’s something with a server setup? Can I just delete the “p” and be able to use it to drive with traffic in solo?

As the title says, I keep finding e36's with like 330+hp which is not close to real life. I want to replicate my real life car, SLR angle kit, stock 1993, 325i motor, RK tune.

I like to make clips of me drifting and it just looks funny when the model is just looking straight ahead. Any fix?
