I am starting my master's and looking for an entry-level part-time job in the field of study

Hi All, This is my first time posting here.

Before I start, does anyone else find the job market disheartening in this country? During college, I worked as a chef and trained under Michelin guide chefs. (I didn't get any government help, sadly and won't get any for this degree) I had a workplace accident which resulted in bad second-degree burns, which led me to leave the culinary industry. Also, it isn't what I studied in college; it was something I was good at and could progress in, but it was not a lifestyle I wanted to be in anymore when considering jobs to get during my studies.

I studied fine art at NCAD, graduating in 2022 and preparing to start my master's in art and social action - focusing my degree on revolutionary architects/artists who tried to revolutionize social housing.

Some background - I trained as a chef for four years in prestigious restaurants. Cheffing gave me a reality check, helped get me focused, and built up a productive and efficient work ethic while ingraining in me a perspective towards work as something that allows you to grow through hard work.

After graduating, I was longlisted as RDS visual artist of the year, featured in the Irish Times's 50 creatives to watch 2023, and the tenth man's artist to watch 2024. My work experience is with an SFI-funded project eco showboat with two of Ireland's leading artists and sfi funded plant science festival in botanic gardens. I have completed a three-month residency in the Arctic village of Berlevåg and a CCI residency in Paris. I have achieved some achievements in my journeys, like performing at Electric Picnic/Body and Soul and writing articles.

As a 24-year-old who has done a lot, I find it hard to move forward in the country now; I'm looking for a job to contribute to and learn from as I complete my studies and continue after my degree. I want the same mentorship I received while working as a chef in a business focused on the creative industry from all aspects I can contribute to.

I'm not looking to enter a job in a high position; my core focus is on growth, so my sights are set on someone or a company looking for someone with drive, passion and willingness to work hard for them while they accept the fact I also have a degree to focus on.

Does anyone have any leads? Indeed, Linked In does not seem to have anything that suits my next steps in life.

Thanks all
