Advice

I have a tiny tank with 3 guppies and 1 mystery snail. Added A plant and it came with friends. So far I see 5 tiny snails with shells formed, 2 in the process and a few more that look like there building up to it...what do I do?

Is my mystery Snail a male or female?

I recently got an aquarium and I've never had snails before. This is Roomba! I have another one too that I haven't got video of yet to determine sex. They are so fascinating though, I love watching them!!

Bladder snails supply?

Question. I don't know if this is the right reddit page for this. I have se eral fun pet snails, but I also breed bladder snails for food for my aquariums. If this is OK, can I ask anyone who can suggest where I may be able to replenish my colony inexpensive. I need hundreds of them and can't wait for them to breed.

Snail Eggs above water?

I just found these in my gold inca tank. I’m guessing they’re eggs, but I’m more concerned about the fact that they’re above water. Is this normal?

So many assassin eggs

I'm going to keep posting about my Assassin's Snails because I love them.

But my colony is getting a new home so I'm documenting everything I can from this tank so I know behaviors don't change when swapping them to the new one.

P.s. this colony was never my intention.

How do I help with her shell???

I have 2 mystery snails in a tank that had babies (they're getting donated to my local pet store) and her shell is getting worse! I feed them all zucchini, blood worms, spinach. I have crushed shells in there as well as cuttle bones in the tank. I use tap water and change the water once a week. About 10%. The tank is about 10 gallons. The ph is a bit low last i checked at around 7.0. No3 was a bit high at around 60 ish. What else should I do? Do you think the babies are feeding their shells?

Why does my nerite keep flipping over like this?

For the past week, my snail has been turning on its side / turning over. He stays like this for a long time, like a day or more? And then will continue moving around the tank. This is definitely a new behaviour and it's worth noting this little guy must be about 3 years old now. Any ideas?

Feeding my one assassin

I bought a singular assassin snail to deal with some pests in my goldfish tank. He did great. But now he doesn't have food.

Is there anything he should have? Currently I try to give him whatever high protein foods my goldfish eat but the goldfish tend to beat him to it.

My boys 🥰

These are my* mystery snails, Goomy and Valencia. They are gorgeous.

*the tank is my partner’s; the fish, plants, snails, and everything else are all my partner’s, I just named the shellboys so I call them mine too. Yes, I know this side needs to be cleaned.

Snail Diagnosis

I have two black nerite racer snails, they've been doing well until about 4 days ago one fell off the glass and hadn't moved until today. He seems smaller just wanting to get some opinions on what would cause this.

Ph is 8.0 My tap water is ridiculously hard so when I test it using the strips its at about max And the other snail is just fine so i assume bad water is out of the mix Yes im cycled
